What you don't realize is there are cultural differences all around the world and these cultural differences also influence how and why nations are ruled differently from each other. Posting the names of leaders of African countries and how long they ruled/rule won't change a thing. I bet you, if US presidents were governing for 50 years,people like you would say that's the best and we should copy it.
Ordinarily, countries should have been left to run in whatever way works for them as long as there's justice and fairness,but the west keeps trying to pokenose and have everybody follow their own style of governance all because they want influence over other countries......It can't work because cultures vary. Go to the east of the world, many countries there are either monarchies or authoritarian governments till today and they're prospering, what do you have to say about that? Or did you just feel like slaving up as we like to always do[/s]?

u Can condemn d act but the OP forgot to tell you that the students were informed late about the govt not paying for their wassce in which the form is closing next week. the students got angry because the workers salaries has not been paid and where will they get money @ dis late hour to pay for their form. I blame the govt for the late information and I also condemn the violent act of the students.......

As much as I condemn the youthful exurberance displayed, I am sure ones disposition will change if one is indeed in terms with what is happening in the state. Government should be more realistic with the program they preach. How would you promise paying for WASSEC and pick just ONE student in a whole school in the name of scaling down students. Only 14 students in Ile-Ife. Where's fairness in this and everyday we read of their free education in dailies. Pay if you want to pay don't turn parents to fools.

With the Rivers and Akwa Ibom "victory", I'd say the Supreme court is cheaper to buy than other courts in the country. However, Friday is just some hours away. I don't trust the Supreme court in any way. Let's just hope the apex court will not halt proceedings at this point.

Good decision from the supreme court. Saraki will now have to defend himself before the CCT. No more silly games and hiding behind frivolous appeal, he must tell the tribunal how he acquired all those properties that belonged to him and why he refused to disclose some of them in his asset declaration form.

The wailers who have accused Buhari of shielding Saraki from prosecution can now eat their words. Buhari is a democrat who does not interfere in the judicial process. All corruption cases will be followed to its logical conclusions and justice will be done at the end of the day.
