repogirl:
open a dollar account in your Nigerian bank, you ask for a dollar Visa card . You then buy dollars with your naira using the bank agent and deposit in your dollar Visa account.

They will charge you $5 dollars or thereabout ontop whatever the black market price is . Then you can operate straight from the dollar Visa card.
Black Market 280N/$ to fund a legitimate transaction ?

Don't you feel this it outrageous ? I am not sure the no $ deposit order has been lifted.

Is so annoying and devastating. The reduction was still cool to me,but saying u can't withdraw is just pure wickedness.

Have got biz I run in naija in which my account has to be credited after each transaction to enable me make withdrawal where I am despite with the high exchange rate. With this policy now,how does one cope?

Very wicked bro.Their kids and family won't be affected o.All they will do is to go to their inner vault and bring out dollars for them, when the come abroad, they will spend it lavishly.Na we the masses go suffer am.

When last did you hear them cry "sai baba"?They are the ones that will suffer it more, cause they have put much hope on the " body odour" baba and he has disappointed them.

Where is even my friend "passingshot"?please your attention is needed here.
First the spending was reduced to $300 Maximum spend per day and $10,000 p.a, now beginning January 1st... nothing at all.

I struggled to pay my hotel bill last week in Zurich, requesting the hotel to please charge me maximum of 296 CHF per day continuously, otherwise they cant make bulk withdrawal when am leaving.

What a monetary policy, what a government of confusion. angry

As much as I believe in the government of PMB, I do not subscribed to the way the government is handling the issues of Biafra and Zaki Zaki, it's dictatorial to open fire on defenseless citizenry, this government is totally tilting towards dictatorship and anarchy. I doubt if the Nigerian state will would hold together should both the Biafra and Zaki Zaki issue get out of hand. The president should not play dumb and deaf, it's should as a matter of fact act with urgency by trying to handle the issue with in a civilised manner. Force do not all time bring a case study is the Palestinian issue.

"If you all recall the incumbent president has a long history of a dictator, and NEVER obeys court orders.

He has not CHANGED himself but wish to CHANGE Nigeria.

Democracy is all about the rule of Law. Three times he has disobeyed court orders in less than a year in office .

Disobedience to court orders by those who should protect & ensure it’s compliance slides the Nation to anarchy".
