MyPWisINCORRECT: Who are the Oil Marketers holding Nigerians to ransom? We need names so we can occupy their facilities and possibly force them to renege on this dastardly act. You need names: See it below: Firefire: Few cabals holding Nigeria hostage...
Until the oil cabals are dealt with, Nigeria will not develop nor move forward
Oando Oil, CONOIL, African Petroleum and MRS Oil are among the powerful players in the petroleum sector that have shared over N3.655 trillion between 2006 and September 2011 in pursuit of importation of refined petroleum products.
This was revealed in Abuja by the Nigerian Senate joint Committee on Petroleum (Downstream), Appropriation and Finance.
Senator Magnus Ibe, the chairman of the committee, also disclosed that some 100 companies in the downstream sector and in construction, shared over N1.426 trillion between January and August 2011 alone.

Femi Otedola owns AP, while
MRS Oil is run by Aliko Dangote's brother, Sayyu Dantata.

Nigeria government at all level are reckless. Huge debt both domestic and foreign with absolutely nothing to show for it. Can the useless governors give us account of all the federal allocation during the oil boom? Can they account for all the SURE-P allocations collected and what investment was done with it? Nigeria is bleeding under bad leadership across board and all our leaders need to be sent to jail, including that useless Local Government Chairman. Bunch of criminals and selfish element.

I was sympathetic to him but he has shown to be very crude at getting back at his foes.
The last time we checked, he remains the president till May 29th. So, why has he chosen to look on as if he is no longer the president?
Why has he refused to meet the marketers and possibly pay them what is owed them even if he needs to borrow, after all we are already borrowing to pay salaries!
Jonathan is a complete disgrace! Relax brother, the conspiracy will soon be made open. |

LouisVanGaal: The reason Nigerians frowned at the total removal of subsidy was a case of TRUST. Every1 knew that the rate of corruption and embezzlement of public funds in GEJs govt was alarming! It would be a case of stealing from the poor to give the rich! GEJ lacked the integrity and moral rectude to pronounce such...you dont give your belongings to criminals to keep for you! What happened to the money realised from the partial removal ? Did you not see how SURE-P and YOUWIN programmes were fraudulent and highly mismanaged ?? If GEJ and his govts integrity hasnt been in question then, Nigerians would have not blinked at that proposal...so dont blame ANYBODY. However, I support buhari to take it off TOTALLY, cos i know that he doesnt depend on sycophants to make his decisions..

Honestly, this is a complete waste of resources and public fund... what is the benefit of this edifice to a common man on the street of Warri or Asaba ?Nigerian leaders and misplaced priorities. How does this put food on the common man's table ? How can this building in Lagos add to the economic development of Delta State ? Very soon like Bukola Saraki of Kwara State, this building would be converted to private properties. God, when will you deliver your people. ? |
