datolee: I can understand your point but the twitter condemnation is a step in the right direction, more needed to be done though by both APC and PDP. It maybe be blunt but I think that North is more susceptible to violence than other regions of the country. Okay, a step in the right direction. Thank you for your comment datolee, how is your end? How I wish further steps could be taken to convey the originality of the message to the concerned clearly and objectively. Nigeria belongs to all of us and not to the few rotating themselves. |

barcanista: @ Firefire I mean no personal attack on your person. My reaction is based on your action and not your person. The original message of this thread is not only pathetic but a slap on sanity and our democracy. I respect your views but get the logic in my message, using twitter is not a good form of communicating to our brothers in the north. If Nigeria goes in flame, some of us can leave within minutes but what of our extended family ? This is my message. Enjoy yourself and see you soon. |

barcanista: The PDP and their apologists have shamefully started playing the opposition despite being incumbents. Why not quit if you can't handle affairs of the state? Must one be in power and mismanage our collective wealth? I don't even know what they want after 16 years of waste, 16 years of wasting our time, resources and lives. don't be too clever by half changing the goal post, tell Major General Mohamodu Buhari Rtd. to address the northern people using the usual means of BBC Hausa Service denouncing the attacks in Jos. Finito! Any other medium outside this is not known in the north and his condemnation is FAKE! |

Asking Muhammadu Buhari to address the nation and issue statements after seeing the message on twitter is foolish. Is muhammadu buhari the President? What is the primary responsibility of a government? Is APC in control of FG or Plateau state government? That gÙy is just annoyin...clueless TANists Barcanista, I will take no offense to your submission, you have the right to form your opinion(s). Keep your annoyance to yourself. Aren't you giving a new meaning to hypocrisy here Bros, Remember: All of us cannot sleep and place our heads in the same direction at the same time. omenka: You are a bloody liar. Why didn't you write the complete statement he made??
For the benefit of the ignorant kids who tend to easily fall for lies being spread by the children of anger and agents of darkness on this forum, the general said 2015 would be bloody if Jonathan RIGS the elections. Even when the satanists post images of that newspaper, they try to crop the portion that gives the condition under which the year could be bloody according to the General. They try to make you see only the "2015 will be bloody" portion!! How disgusting!!
The only people that have threatened Nigerians in such idiotic fashion are the likes of Clerk, Akpabio and Dokubo, who promised hell. And death to Nigerians if Jonathan IS NOT re-elected!!!. They are telling us we don't have the right to choose our leader anymore.
And since then, the president hasn't issued a single remark in condemnation, neither has the SSS noticed!!
Shame. It is not out of place to ask your General to please use the usual medium to communicate to his people, and not unfamiliar twitter handle, this is all my request. Nigeria belongs to all of us Jonathan or no Jonathan, Buhari or no Buhari. |

Our attention is drawn to the twitter handle condemnation of the attacks on PDP faithful in Jos by General Mohamodu Buhari. As a concern Nigerian, I state it clearly here, that mode of communication is new to the people of the north. Hence, Twitter condemnation by buhari is not Acceptable! How many people among his foot soldiers are on twitter? His comments on blood and bamboo were made on BBC Hausa Service. Until Buhari statement is broadcasted on BBC Hausa Service, He has not condemned anything.

This shows the kind of good leader we are dreaming to have in this country.

publisher: This has gone beyond Politics; the messianic status being sold by APC to Buhari fans is having adverse effects on lots of them online and offline.
I have heard stories of many Buhari fans severing years of friendship and issuing death threats to people they tag "Jonathanians."
It's like a hypnotic hysteria, every singular act or opportunity they see presents and opportunity to chant "Sai Buhari"
Buhari picks up a new born baby, it's "Sai Buhari" a baby has endorsed him. Buhari buys an Igbo traditional title, it's "Sai Buhari" our lion-killer, the gods have endorsed him.
This is becoming worrisome because Goodluck Jonathan is winning the 2915 Presidential elections and this group of hypnotized people may be led into violence without knowing what they are doing.
My friends remains my friend irrespective of who they follow.
the bitter truth is that Buhari cannot win the election next month, NEVER!
Hence while we may have semi-illiterate Northern youths causing violence in the North, down South a group of enlightened but hypnotized people who have invested their entire life hopes on Buhari may run wild. They are in the minority but they will harm those closer to them.
I advise all Goodluck Jonathan fans to stay away from close friends that are obsessed over Buhari, allow them time to grieve over Buhari's loss then make friends with them after May 29, 2015 when GEJ is sworn in for his second term.
A word is enough for the wise o.

chiefolododo: I KNOW THAT SOME PROPHET OUT THERE ARE SAYING THAT JONATHAN WILL WIN , BUT IF I AM HONEST ,THEY ARE ONLY DECEIVING HIM just like the prophets were deceiving AHAB(i kings 22 from verse 1) but only micaiah told him the truth , a micaiah would tell gej the truth.
There are many similarities between gej and ahab; they are both weak but have stronger wives -ahab could not take naboth farm until his wife killed naboth just like gej cannot take any strong decisions until he consults his wives namely patience, okonjo iweala, oduah and madueke. another thing is that ahab was deceived by his prophets just like they are noe deceiving gej for better understanding read i kings chapter 22 Don't forget to read Romans 13:1- 3 Shalom! |
