OH really?
So which part was a lie?
Did Franco save your club 3 times from bankruptcy?
Guy, it's important to understand that Francisco Franco was a known fan of Real Madrid. In fact, he used to attend their matches and even had a box reserved for him at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Now, I'm not saying that he made it a state policy to favor Real Madrid, but let's just say he didn't exactly hide his bias.

The most prominent case of Franco's favoritism towards Real Madrid is undoubtedly the Alfredo Di Stefano transfer saga. For those who don't know, Barcelona actually signed Di Stefano first as he was highly coveted player in the 1950s and both Real Madrid and Barcelona were vying for his signature. However, Franco personally intervened and forced the two clubs to merge their transfer negotiations, ultimately leading to Di Stefano signing for Real Madrid. This move undoubtedly gave Los Blancos a huge advantage over their rivals, and it's hard to argue that Franco didn't play a role in it.

Moving on to the issue of refereeing decisions, there have been several instances where Real Madrid benefited from controversial calls during Franco's reign. One notable example is the 1960 European Cup final, where Real Madrid faced off against Eintracht Frankfurt. The match was held in Glasgow, Scotland, and the referee on the day was a certain Arthur Ellis. Now, according to some accounts, Ellis had always been intimidated by Franco's presence and him being present in the stands didnt make anything different including the decisions in Real Madrid's favor, including a contentious penalty that helped them win the match 7-3.

It's also worth noting that Real Madrid enjoyed a lot of financial support during Franco's regime. The club received generous funding from the government and was often granted special privileges that other clubs didn't enjoy. This allowed them to build a strong squad and dominate both domestically and in Europe, while other clubs struggled to keep up.

Some people argue that Franco saved Barcelona from bankruptcy three times, but let's examine this claim more closely. Yes, it's true that Barcelona did face financial difficulties during Franco's reign, but it's also true that these difficulties were often a result of government policies that favored Real Madrid. For example, the government imposed a cap on transfer fees, which made it difficult for Barcelona to compete for top players. Additionally, Barcelona was forced to play several matches without some of their key players due to military service requirements. So while Franco may have provided some financial assistance to Barcelona, it's hard to argue that he was their savior.

Moreover, there are accounts of Franco's disdain towards Catalan culture, which Barcelona represents. He saw Barcelona as a symbol of Catalan nationalism and therefore was not particularly fond of the club. This sentiment was further amplified during the Spanish Civil War, where Barcelona was seen as a symbol of resistance against Franco's regime.

Finally, it's worth noting that Franco's reign was characterized by censorship and propaganda. It's possible that some of the information we have about Franco's favoritism towards Real Madrid may have been distorted or suppressed. However, based on the available evidence, it's clear that Franco did have a bias towards Real Madrid and that this bias may have influenced some of his decisions.

So there you have it. I hope this discussion has shed some light on the issue of Franco's favoritism towards Real Madrid over Barcelona. And as for the claim that Franco saved Barcelona from bankruptcy three times? Well, let's just say that's like saying a burglar saved your house from burning down because he stole all the flammable materials.

Bald wanted a team he could be in charge of... Not one that would continually mirror his life and pattern using the "tenure" of his predecessor.

And maybe like you said, he saw through the rot of the Glaziers

Because Santos doesn't believe in him,
We all saw his impact when he was introduced halfway into the Portugal vs Morocco game.
Felix is overrated and should never start in any game ahead of leao.
Which other lw will you pick ahead of leao?
He didn't have any impact. Let's dead that part. The only thing Portugal created came from the right. Leao is just there... Not someone I'd risk that amount to get. I'd rather go for cheaper options like Kolo Muani who's more direct and can offer defensive stability in case of pressing teams.

Leao is worth the hype, such an exceptional player and a great team player.
He can dribble, score and even assist too.
I started watching Milan matches since he won the MVP last season, I can assure you leao is the kind of winger we need now
For me... He shouldn't even be an option. Not downplaying him but trust me, I'll list 5 options ahead of him.

There's a reason he's not a starter for Portugal despite his "explosiveness"

Even with Messi or without Messi, he can only get a nomination this year in preparation for the next coming year(s).
For you to win a Balon d'Or, you must be consistent in the Balor Dor list for at least 2 seasons.
(though that's not the rule, it's the trend)
I'm still asking. Who'd you take ahead of him aside from Messi?

No more panic buy,
We shouldn't be in a hurry to sign a lw.
Panic buy is the reason the club is in a deep financial mess today.
Leao should be the best option for the lw.
We should stop all these experiments already
Personally.. I have NEVER bought into this Leao's hype. He's just there.

Mitoma seems a way better and cheaper option.
