Cottyekundayo: the answer to this question will shock you. You may end up driving a car as expensive as your tuition for the semester or the year. , But then, I dunno whether you have "30trillion for the account o". A car in Australia is not a luxury item, but a freaking necessity. This a.m, j left my carless Homie at home cos my work start time changed from 7 to 630. I informed prior to departure of the change and when he didn't meet up, I left. I cannot leave my own load in my hand and out his own on my head. In a nut shell my friend, just get car wey go serve you, with 1.5k you should be all right. But for a 2010 Toyota, except you wanna run uber and stuffs Well said!!! No one cares about your car model and what year in Australia o.... get a car to be on time for work is the major thing. Only Naija here that flaunt cars even when it's is purchased with loans and drinking cassava flakes at the corner of your home. |

Requesting more documents is an evidence of HOPE and as soon as one provides the requested document VISA will be granted......."Hopefully" I second your talk bro. #BasicFact |

weldonextreme: @Fishlink I lodged my application on May 8th, did biometrics same day. My application status still shows "assessment in progress" On the other hand. A friend of mine lodged his application May 3rd. He got a mail on May 25th to provide SOA and explain why he was denied visa twice to the UK. He applied to Macquarie university which happens to be on ssvp. From what I've been reading today, I think DIBP now come up with this policy of SOA cos the privilege on not providing SOA in the past has been violated by Nigerians. Did you as well didn't provide SOA when u applied? To future applicants, get ur SOA ready irrespective of the university you applying to. Don't you joke with DIBP cos they have the final say to visa grants. Thank you |

I have emailed several supervisors to fulfill the requirements, but none has replied. The situation is putting me off.

jackson2dye4: Refund from who?? That's not an option at this stage. Gurus, at some point last week my sponsor had about 9m in his account. Please what is the main requirement in assessing SOA? Closing balance? Or i need the 9m to be in for 3months Firstly they will contact the bank to authenticate the SOA, give call to your sponsor to verify and also make decision on the flow of income in the account if not a borrowed and dump fund.. boss be calm, if the bank authenticate that its genieu and your sponsor act well then you are done. God help u and help us all bro |

jackson2dye4: No.. I didn't upload because it wasn't required and all the people I know that applied to AL1 schools didn't upload as well and they got their grant. I lodged May 9th This shouldn't be happening o! As someone said you should ask for refund policies and again that won't be the best cos I'm so sure of it that from ur immi account showing assessment in progress, the next is finalized and have visa granted upon providing the SOA... you can use a relative as sponsor who has a foreign account like I used from a Norwegian who accept to sponsor me and I got the statement translated to English for embassy use. |

jackson2dye4: My case officer just mailed me, requesting that I upload my sponsor's bank statement to my immi account...I applied to unsw (AL1) , what do I do?? I am really confused!!! Sponsor didn't work on his SOA Initially bro, didn't you upload sponsor bank statement when applying for visa? You might think it's not required as the school AL1 doesn't ask for SOA but immigration has there own rules too. In this case that ur case officer request for sponsor account, kindly do so in other to avoid delay in ur visa processing. When did you lodge ur visa application? |

cassareknow: Thanks for this eye opener, but i would like to know, how long does it take to get the certification for the aged care/disability Also, are there other certifications one can do to help one get job ontime so that one can plan for it alongside, cost of getting a car and so on. All these will really help those of us planning resume by July. thanks. I can say something about this anyway. The age care certification is about 6weeks and cost about 650AUD. That's for Perth ooo. That's what I intend to do as well as I resume July. My fiancé work at the nursing home so many African mostly Nigerians work there as carer and earn minimum of $24 per hour. But car is important in all o. It will cost u $1500 to get Camry tiny light while up to $2500 to get big daddy Camry. Learn driving here in Naija and explore everywhere so there won't be problem for u to drive in Australia. Retain ur Naija license as u can use it to drive there. I hope this help.... God will answer us soon that are waiting for visa grants |
