After what we can call a sucessful career, Former France defender and champions league winner, Patrice Evra has announced his retirement and has confirmed he would move into coaching in the next 2 years.
The 38-year-old confirmed yesterday that his career is "officially over" and will go into coaching.
He made about 700 appearances for eight different clubs, including Monaco, Manchester United and Juventus over two decades.
In his 22 years career, Evra won five Premier League titles, two Serie A titles and one Champions League.

He had a memorable career with France also, making a total of 81 appearances for France. Not to be forgotten was the 5 match ban he recieved after French players boycotted training during the 2010 World Cup in support of Nicolas Anelka, who was sent home for insulting coach Raymond Domenech.
He made 379 apperances for United between 2006 and 2014 before moving to Juventus, a season after sir Alex left.
In January 2017, Evra Joined Marseille but he left the club in November after kicking a fan before a Europa League match for some racial abuse.
He joined West Ham in February 2018 and made 5 appearances during his stay. He made the last appearance of his career in May 2018.

Speaking in an interview with Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, he told them of his decision to retire and that he would aim to finish his coaching qualifications in the next 18 months.
