2. Yes, the processing time includes weekends.

3. Weighing their circumstances, I would recommend they email IRCC for an extension, explaining their passport situation, and then proceed to IOM to do the same. This will reveal their available options. (IOM will likely conduct the examination for them.)

4. PCC requirements vary by individual circumstances, but it is mostly optional for TRVs. Therefore, it is not mandatory if they have no criminal records and haven't lived outside Nigeria for more than six months in the past ten years.

5. After their medical examination is received by IRCC, it can take some days to a few weeks before they receive their final decision.
