buhariguy: my guy did not go for medical tourism, he went there to see his doctor, his doctor can be in anywhere. To see his doctor?! You have lost your conscience. Medical tourism is seeking medical treatment from a foreign country. Did Buhari get treated when he visited his doctor? His doctor admitted him, yes or no? I wish I can get your real name and pictures so that they can be attached to this your senseless comment. So that we can show it to your kids for them to know how their father lived his life. |

Foreign reserve can easily beverified, what do you mean unverified or are you an illiterate? Why do you think PDP like to return to power, money to loot is available again.
I'm in Ibadan, I know and have been to Lagos Ibadan railway site. My family even collected 180k as compensation for our used land.
IOn local rice, go to ShopRite especially the one in Ibadan you will well packaged Nigerian rice there.
On farmers go to Ondo state ask the cocoa farmers there, go to Kebbi ask the rice farmers there and even on Nl agric section, you will hear and read testimony how many turns millionaire overnight through farming.
See the picture that shows power situation during gej, gej left Nigerian with less than 2kmw.
I will stop here for now, I will update if there is need Oga, my area in Zango, Ilorin was having light when Jonathan was president. But today, light only cones once in 4 days. You are the one making a fool of yourself |

dejol88: I will give few points , Most of our generating stations run on gas, which is expensive.
Secondly, our electricity network is terribly poor at distribution level. Companies who are responsible for distribution are not ready to carry out upgrade. That explains why there is little rainfall the guy on duty will switch off supply. The guys in generation don't have a choice but to lower generation due to high interference from the activity of the guy from distribution. It will take millions of dollars to carry out true upgrade.
Nigeria should pursue more of renewable just like mambilla but again no political will. This is cheaper source of generation of electricity for Nigerians.
Alot more, for instance a company generating power at the cost of 6billion naira only get 1.5billion naira at the end of the month. It makes the sector not viable for investment. Do you think a private individual can be allowed to generate electricity successfully in Nigeria without interference from the Powers that be? |

dejol88: I may not be knowledgeable on every point raised therein but I will be very truthful .I have worked in the power sector in the last one year , in the process visited about 4 power station .moreso visited about 3 transmission station 330/132kv, 132/33kv ,33/11kv. The truth is nothing has been done to increase generation. Each time I read here on nairalannd that Nigeria is now averaging 5000mw I laugh alongside my colleagues.
Quote me anywhere , Nigeria do not generate more than 3000mw everyday. Highest generation comes from egbin, averaging between 500 to 600 daily. This can be verified from nybeg websites. Followed by one gas station in delta while generation station average between 300mw and 200mw.
Bottom line is with our research ,Nigerians can never enjoy stable power because of some factors. Anybody saying otherwise is deceiving you.
It is unfortunate that in this generation of ours stable electricity can never be achieved. Please can you kindly open my eyes to some of the factors? I just want to know. |

KenOne: The only lucrative industry for PDP and it's supporters is politics the reason they insult anyone that holds a different view with them. They can insult their mother and beat her because of the peanuts they get from Wike and Fayose as attack dogs. Just imagine this Lere of a low life, Rivers and Ekiti state tops on unemployment rate because the governors lacks idea of creating jobs rather they appoint over 200 local government liaison officers with a 1500 monthly recharge card to insult their elders and a stipend of 10k a month for a job well done. Who says Amaechi is not far ahead of Wike and Fayose in terms of good administrator and delivery of good governance. In APC, you don't just insult opposition, you also threaten them with Fulani herdsmen attacks and corruption charges. How come the charges against Bukola is coming after the latter started opposing Buhari? Why didn't they bring it out before? And how come orji Uzor Kalu suddenly became an APC anointed son and his corruptions forgotten? |

hucienda: N5000. One of the many problems of the welfare state.
Who will pay for it? For how long? Is it sustainable? How about its accountability in a notoriously corrupt system as in the country? Among its many problems will be that it would further entrench the seed of dependency among the recipients.
Immediately I saw that plank in their campaign, I knew these guys were not serious.
Anyway, we all know where most of the recipients (if any) would be found in the country.
