This year too I made another million

This morning, I saw my 4 years old son holding a 20 Naira note as he was getting ready for school.

Curious, I asked, "Where did you get that from?"
"It's mine," he replied confidently.

Trying to tease him a little, I said, "So you're taking it to school to buy some goodies and enjoy yourself?

He looked at me and calmly replied, "It cannot buy anything.

That one sentence stopped me in my tracks.
I looked at the 20 Naira note over and over again, trying to think of what it could buy here in Ikeja, Lagos.

The truth hit me hard almost nothing. For a moment, I felt overwhelmed with emotion.
Then my mind traveled back to the 1990s.

Back then, the same 20 Naira was enough for my father to leave us money for breakfast. We could buy pap, akara, and sugar, or even share cooked rice sold for 5 naira per plate among four of us.

In those days, if a student was caught with 20 naira in school between 1993 and 1995, it was considered a lot of money.
The principal would probably want to know where it came from, and your parents might be invited to explain.

I also remembered attending a government school in Northern Nigeria. After graduation, when I went to collect my testimonial, the fee was just 15 naira.

Today, 20 naira can barely buy anything.
It's amazing and heartbreaking how much the value of money has changed within a single generation.

What was once enough to feed a family breakfast is now almost insignificant.

Sometimes, it takes the innocent words of a child to remind us just how much the world has changed.

My wife never works and I pay all the bills 100% but whenever she wants to talk to an outsider if we had any issue she will say I HV never done anytin for her

Why is my eye reading God will p*nish Tinubu

I just clocked 38 and of recent let me say 3mnths ago I noticed I don't last long infact I release as quick as 1-2min once I am pumping.
- I tried the one called BLUE and for 2days I was sick with serious headache because I don't take sex enhancing drugs or concussions.

Generally I can stay 5-10mins depending on my mood and wellbeing. Although I am not the 2nd round person...I do my 1 round jejely which can last 30-1hr doin all sorts of things but once ontop 5-10mins.

The important things to NOTE

When I was doing 5-10mins pumping
I drink minerals alot
I am overweight
I sleep well
I have Job paying me well
I don't drink alcohol


Now that I do 1-2mins
I still drink my minerals as usual
I am overweight
I don't have a job
I sleep very well
Sadly I am depressed and always thinking and feeling sick
I started drinking alcohol let say 2bottles in 7days


Although I have kids infact all boys and twins
- I have reduced my miniral intakes
- Alcohol dat one I have stopped it like 1mnth it was easy as hating poverty
- I am hoping to see improvement may be when my mind is stable, get a job then I can say there is a big problem if I still do 1-2mins
- I am hoping to get a job but seriously still over thinking but pushing through.
- Reducing my weight and doing exercise is my priority also make God help me

This is the problem with many of you guys. you want someone to buy you car for uber or few millions to start a business. How many people have such capability?
Is it your brother or your uncle that is abroad?
At minimum you will need about #3million naira to buy uber car. You that is asking #3million doesn't even have #1million in saving. This your brother or uncle is saddle with helping everyone in the family with supplementing school fees, rent, medical emergencies among others.

In the case of your brother, he/she is solely responsible for all your parents expenses even though he is not the only child, you forget that this is also a help to you as you don't have to worry about your parent's expenses.

You alone want him to set you up with a minimum of #3million. How about your siblings, cousins, nephew, uncles, aunties, his friends etc? How rich do you think this person would have to be to be able to do this for you?

Nobody is saying safe the whole world..imagine your blood brother is outder struggling not dat he is irresponsible but just dat life favours us differently and refused to help.

My opinion to things like this is that regret should come if it wants to come. If I have been warning someone with tears since I was barely 20 and they refused to yield to common sense, I can not kill myself over them if they have not made sense of their life after 30 years. I have helped a lot, I may and would still help, but I've really grown beyond people trying to use their poverty to blackmail me. Not even death scares me. All of us have to die at some point.

If you have tried to help someone and they are not helping the matter is a different thing.
But if you are capable of helping a brother/friend with let say a car to start Uber, few mil to strt up a business, professional course to hlp dem with better jobs knowing well dey are responsible and capable or jobs opportunity but refused instead dashing 20k helping them add up to complete rent to me is not help.
