Christianity Etc › Re: Im Confused Abt This Christian Theory... by flamingREED(m): 1:09pm On Nov 29, 2015
Alexyswiss:
please I'm a little bit confused about this thought..

They said God is omnipotent..and even omnipresent

and he sees the future...and know everything that would happen next right?? and can even do and undo

okay...does this means that God knew Eve would be deceived and Adam would fall with her?

why did he let that happen?...does this also means he wanted man to fall so that sin would come into this world and man would go through suffering?

pls answer with biblical reference if any
Yeah, man, God knew. But that could not have deterred Him from doing what He pleased. It's like Christ refusing to come to rescue the sons of Adam because He knew He'd be rejected(even till today), ridiculed and killed by them. As it was in Eden so it is now. The same careless attitude towards God's better plan for us. That God shouldn't have created anything is like a wood-carver refusing to carve his canoe because he's supposed to be a land-dweller and shouldn't plunge into the seas of uncertainties. Or that God should have created animals only. How great would such creation had been? But in man's case, he has all the fit outs to live godly, but he won't just reason, nor that he can't, but he just appreciates the pleasure of unrighteousness. God has also provided all man needs to always make a u-turn from his evil ways; from a conscience, to rationality; from the words of preachers to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Man is one powerful creature God made and committed his life's destinies into his hands. God has never facilitated man's errors. If we're tempted it's to make us stronger, like every conscientious inventor tries and tests his invention. All the same, there are questions that are quite beyond us, otherwise man is no more man, and God is no more God. Relax and follow God... BY FAITH

How my conscience upturns itself because of this story! Though I tried to read cautiously and selectively too; now, I wonder I'm guilty, and I'm worried too. Righteous Christ keep us from the defiling tongue, the choking commiseration and the damning dirge. Christians beware of such tales laden with impalpable obscenity. We are admonished 'gainst evil communication, and there are some acts we just cannot rehearse or follow publicly. The people affected know what to do. Dare to except this evil snare. God bless

wow nice sermon.so there won't be any problem if I kill your entire family including your children and rape your little girl in your presence before killing you.
I'm commanded to forgive. It doesn't usher in a society of lopsided persecution, nevertheless. God has instituted governments for the 'punishment of them that do evil, to execute judgement against them' (Romans 13). In a civil society, God has appointed the powers that be to see to sanity and orderliness. So, you might not escape God-instituted instruments of prosecution and retribution even if I forbear and do not take vengeance by myself, which I must not take.

AC 13:11 Paul purposefully blinds a man (though
not permanently).
Understand, my man that God cannot be charged with murder. Right from creation He has upheld His sceptre of justice. I didn't read through all you posted, but I'm sure you're trying to convict God of inhumanity. After the creation He plainly said man will die for disobedience but live for righteousness. God judged the old world. First, he turned Adam and Eve out from the garden, dealt with Cain and thereafter flushed humanity away by a flood. He proceeded and punished the Canaanites for their sins. He plainly said he'll do so when their cup was full. He didn't overthrow them like Sodom. He used Israel to chastise them. It was at God's command and might and name. Some Canaanite neighbours perished not because God wanted them to, but they decided to wage unprovoked war with God's chosen seed. God told Israel to be wary of His hate for sin. When they fell short, He also chastised them by* heathen nations. In so doing, although Israel was supposed to replenish the association God lost in Eden, there wasn't any sacred cow. Whether an individual or a nation, whoever sinned, or opposed God's plan, or was a threat to the rest He promised His own, is sure to be chastised by any means God leans to. But God decided to extend the hand of mercy to all men by sending Jesus to proclaim repentance and the ushering in of a new and more glorious order of forgiveness, freedom from sin and grace to live above it; that men given expansive time could make up their minds anyhow and accept His offer of redemption. In this order, He does not lean on judgement anymore. He writes His law in our hearts and gives us His holy Spirit. This now is the conflict: God didn't isolate Israel from chastisement, nor was identification with them an automatic shield from condemnation which Islam upholds. God's criteria for being His is entirely based on obedience. Remember that only 2 persons made it to the promised land. Again, this distinguishes God from Allah. He has no favourites. Israel failed to live up to the Edenic expectation, so God took His quest for a people worldwide. Jesus therefore came that through Him all men might have equal access to God and be His sons again. Forgiveness became abundant, and patience , while all men are still talked to to reconsider their ways and become God's in truth and in spirit. But while this was on going, Muhammad suddenly interjected with an order that disrupted mercy and repentance and justification by faith, not of works. Declaring death and disaster for God's enemies he contradicted Christ who taught us non-resistance and tolerance as we propagate the faith. It's why we don't accept his testimony. Moreover, he seemed to present to us another Jesus which Paul warned us of. A lot could be said about Mohammed, but I'll say less. So, don't think God indulged in unjust killings. No. He punished necessarily, and weeded out any proven source of pollution of His holy seed. But Christ has come and He has become more lenient having offered for us His most precious. Amen

If this man perishes, or is disabled in anyway, or altogether is destroyed any moment from now, let no one mourn his corpse. For he has not only intruded into an office he understands nothing about and condemned the ministers who sincerely uphold the whole counsel of God, but he has also twisted the scriptures in so doing. Ask him if he's free from his sins, and you'll know he's just basking in green hypocrisy or something more acidic, or he's just puffed up by sheer pride. I'm mature beyond back-answering an ignorant world discontentedly opposed to God Almighty, but I must affirm that the faith of Christ and His Father, our God, will never be destroyed or demeaned by uninspired, unsolicited and exceeding carnal hostilities of unregenerate people. "Harm they us a whit? They nothing can more. 'tis written by His finger!"

What do you mean by "6. Practice sexual intimacy. Do you remember falling in
love and the feeling that nobody in the world existed
except the person you loved? The reason for that is the...". Are you referring to the married? However, let me add that in case you fell into immorality and you're still guilty and wobbling, you need not just to repent and confess to God, you must expose your infidelity to your spouse, if you're married, but also to your pastor, in any case. Unconfessed sins of fornication, pornography, and masturbation can never be overcome. Tell your pastor of your shady deeds, and don't just accept a pat on the back. Demand for a good deal of time to seek God and be restored under discipline. Tell your spouse and have a conscience void of offence toward man lest you be rejected on the last day.

Send your own 11 year old daughter to be a househelp then come back and tell us if your daughter was a " good one" to somebody.

An 11 year old child has no business being a househelp, she is a developing child who needs to learn and play not be saddled with your kids. Gosh, what is wrong with us? Stop this please. Hire a professional or get a creche, stop being penny wise and pound foolish not to talk of illegal, an 11 year old can barely take care of herself. If you are afraid of your husbands fidelity with an older girl then deal with your husband not make a child your maid abeg.
Now, this is intelligent!

Okay. All those on the front page speaking against house-helps, imagine the helps are one of your own, would you easily degrade them the same way? Or, are you people trying to imply that your adolescence was saintly? Does being a house help automatically translate adolescents to adults? Even the lady complaining, if you're wanting in parent-craft, your own kids will do worse to you. Fine. Some helps may even be witches or wizards, okay. Are our own biological children free from witchcraft and the occult? Forgive the lass and move on. It's not the reason you people will condemn every help in hostile generic terms. Every child has a right to good life and environment. I bet you that the same help might live with someone else and not dream of leaving. Onesimus was a thorn to Philemon, but living with Paul the apostle turned him into a saintly servant. Did your husband bother to caution her when he noticed her odd calls? The heart of the young are like bare earth which must grow weed and thorns if not catered/cared for. I have heard of such horrible helps, but the attitude of some help mistresses is hateful. I'm not in support of the maid's misconduct a bit, yet I condemn the generalised condemnation meted out on helps in this thread. There are good helps, besides. Choose mature helps today

I guess unless your shoe size is a whole number without a fractional part, then you will probably get the wrong age and wrong shoe size.
By chance, are you a mathematics teacher?

I just confirmed my doubt, madam. I used figures which do not represent my actual shoes size, and after the maths I arrived at the same figures. I don't know how you obtained your actual shoes size using another size. 'tmust be either a coincidence or that you ain't f'llowing th'operations correctly.

I'm not kidding. That is why I'm baffled. I am going to try it with another wrong shoe size and see what happens.
Okay. I'll try't out too.

I wanted to trick it, so used the wrong shoe size, but the answer corrected itself to my right shoe size, but gave me the wrong age. I did not get my right age and shoe size till I used the correct shoe size, so that was a little baffling.
I doubt

Since our shoes sizes are two-digit numbers, let the shoe size be xx. XX times 5= 5xx. 5xx plus 50 times 20 = 20( 5xx + 50) = 100xx + 1000. Adding 1015 we arrive at 100xx + 2015. If birth year is taken away, the answer will be a four digit number in this form:______100 times xx =--- xx00 _____. 2015 minus birth year =-- + yy______. The answer is.............= xxyy. So xx gives us back the shoes size, whereas yy is our age. It's a little maths that reveals the pathway of the trick. Nothing esoteric's involved. Thanks wink

Many are on their way to destruction already. Every Saint seeking glorification in the last day must be blind to tribalism, deaf to revilings and speak only a few words of truth, which must not in anyway tip a man harmfully against another. But seeing it's an unrighteous generation whom not God has failed, but who have woefully failed God, it becomes mandatory for the godly to speak to avert hasty damnation. The worst thing that can befall a people is the dearth of the fear of God. Without insult, truth and rationale are more potent than any weapons of mass destruction and schemes of great oppression. Healthy debates based on thorough research and convincing logic, with necessary physical tactics will make a course more successful and pleasanter than other vendettas. The enthronement of fury over intelligence never makes noble nor might be trusted. If peace-approach is backed by incessant prayers to God, I tell you freedom won't take years to come by. But when the tenets of God do not refine the rules of engagement, then men might be reminded that it was never by might or power; and that wisdom subdues all things better than weapons of war. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.

Whatever last straw the Boko Haram is hanging onto, we are winning the war against them, and we will definitely win this one.
And to all those who will be happy seeing this, ur miracle is on the way. It might be you!
My dear, we know it's wrong to rejoice over evil. But while we're commiserating with those on whom evil befell, we ought not to wish more of such evil on those that rejoice over it no matter what, because by so doing, we negate our prayers that such evil should be curbed.
