You talk about light? I’m well traveled enough to know that the US is a lesser evil with the amount of power they possess. Give the same power to Saudi and witness unfathomable bloodshed. Or China? Or Russia? Even Nigeria, full of megalomaniac politicians.

The US can be better but they still remain the last hope for justice before we all meet our maker. The dead ayatollah played god and was responsible for the deaths and deformities of millions of Iranians. Same as Assad, Maduro, Ceren… compare Syria, Venezuela and El Salvador today.

Despite huge oil reserves most venezuelans lived in poverty under maduro,I think you need to first read the contents of the deal before going ballistic.

You shouldn't criticize every trump policy,this deal is a win win for both the Americans and the venezuelan people.

Stop arguing things you don't know. I'm a music analyst. Between 1958 and 1962, Fela was living with his brother in London studying music. During that time, he studied the works of several American Soul musicians and African indigenous Artist such as Orlando Julius, who was already an accomplished, albeit fledging young musician who was at that time experimenting at Obafemi Awolowo's music school with a new style of music which became what we know today as Afrobeat. When Orlando started singing Afrobeat in Nigeria, Fela was still in the university in London. He is often mistaken as the inventor because he gave it the name "Afrobeat" and became far more popular than the originator.

Do you know what Afrobeat is? Simply put, Afrobeat= traditional African beats + American soul music. Orlando Julius sang exactly like Fela before Fela even started singing(go and watch him) and there are hints that Fela drew major inspiration from his works. Fela didn't originate Afrobeat, he just gave it a real nice nomenclature.
