The proposed grass seeds importation by the Minister of Agriculture is for me a neh, because 1. This goes against the change mantra being preached about by his government. 2. This goes against the creation of jobs they preach. 3. This goes against the development of the agricultural sector. The minister challenged the participants of the workshop where he informed everyone about his idea to come up with a more viable option. When I heard about this on the news, I had already come up with a more viable option which would create jobs and improve our Agriculture sector. I don't know if any one out there knows about the production of silage (maize is mostly used) used to feed cows in most diary producing farms in Nigeria. Isn't this a more viable option to the importation of grass seeds the Minister is proposing? |

I'm so happy about this, I'm an intending farmer, bt I'm still looking for the best land area to practice around the South-South axis. |

My problem is not d fabrication of this car, but "can our government bank on this technology" if they can then nigeria is starting to head in the right direction. For your information there's also a remote controled tractor that was made and it's in the tech center in Calabar just sitting their WAISTING. To remind you, 1: the young man that was said to have fabricated a rocket in 2008 who graduated from FUTMinna where is he now and what did the government do about it? No! NOTHING? 2. The young man who used local materials to fabricate an aircraft which flew for about 30mins in i think around the early years of this mellenium, the government didnt do NOTHING rather he was swept or stolen from nigeria and now in the U.S fabricating and bettering their economy. 3. The disabled youngman who is now readin medcine in the U.S was rejected by the nigerian government and guess what! Obama himself made the U.S parliament to issue him Citizenship early this year. I'm not saying inventing in Nigeria is a waist of time but the government should do something about it to the betterment of the Nigerian citizens! |
