I disagree with this comment, mechanics arent wicked, they re no better than car dealers.

Mechanics in Nigeria face a lot of challenges, No1 being illiteracy , N02 Being look down upon by the average car owner.

People dont like to pay mechanics the right amount for work done on their cars.

How do you give N1,500= to someone who has spent 5hrs working on your car, you dont even buy the correct parts you insist on economy parts and still hold the poor guy responsible when your car fails forgetting that you didnt heed his advice.
it's not the number of hours you spend on the job that matters. some of them dont know the job and would be doing trial and error. it is the quality of the job done.

mine told me that a Nissan frontier kick starter that is sold for 9k is 25k, I almost gave him the money when my driver said I should ask a third party and after asking 4 different people, I realised the guy was not being truthful and immediately he noticed a change in my body language he called somebody close to me to persuade me to give him the money so that he can get a reliable one for me.

the truth is once you dont yeid to their deceit and you give your vehicle to them to repair, they will ensure you spend more than the amount they want to fraudulently collect from you

In my company about three banks came for marketing and were even begging people to come and take loan. Our collateral is our salary.
my dear dont deceived by that and besides bank has different types of product papers

Wrong information, Sir. As long as you are a salary earner, banks will use it as collateral. Remember, not contract staff but permanent staff.
the truth is bank would not even give you loan for a business that can not pay itself. not only that, bank is not a father Xmas that just dashes money without due diligence, they would conduct their due diligence and ensure that all or more than 90% of the risks are reduced. remeber, when a bank gives you loan, they becomes part in the business and would do everything to ensure its growth. go to ur bank and you will be amazed at the questions your account officer will ask.

Nigerians are fools. Leave them, they deserve their suffering.

They should keep wailing but just like Greece economy, even if they change Govt every 2 months, they cannot change the underlying economic condition. It doesn't matter if its APC, PDP or KOWA, the economic condition will remain the same.

An educated man will know to hold those truely responsible for his plight, but instead the Nigerian will be pining after the days of Diezani, GEJ and co like Israelites pining to go back to Egypt during the exodus. Fools who do not know the cause of why they are in the position they are in.

Right now Nigeria should have $180bln sitting in the ECA to weather the oil slump, but all the Nigerian knows to do is moan and pine for the people who shared their savings.
well said

Lagosians are wise... tested and failed should never be given a chance. If Buhari fails too, I trust Lagosians will not give him second chance come 2019. Lagosians are not stereotypic in their thoughts. #ILoveLagosians

The biggest problem we have in Nigeria is ignorance. Ignorance produces fear and fear will make things worse

1. Forget about the threat of leaving school because even if the girl signs the documents, the uncle will still not send her to school. He has already shown he is a dishonest person. The uncle has already shown he cannot be trusted and is only interested in getting money for himself

2. She should get a lawyer to act for her from here on and immediately report the matter to a child right or women's right group. She should not make the mistake of standing alone

3. She should not for one minute think those people care for her if the incident happened the way you have described it.

4. Even if there is no will, she can still have access to her father's money and property as long as she in the only child. Her father's brothers have no right to her father's money or property.

5. She should never sign any document to sell her fathers property. If she must sell the property, she should do it herself through an established estate agency like Jide Taiwo or whatever agency exist in Ondo state. They might make some good money from her but it doesnt matter as long as she also makes something reasonable for herself

6. She should go and report the matter to the ministry of youths and women affairs. The best way to fight cases like these is to bring it to the open. Never fight in secret and never be sentimental. She is already in a bad spot. She must stand up for herself

I get the feeling there are other things you didnt reveal on this thread but that is fine. The important thing at the end of the day is to get proper directions on what to do
my fear is they don't use diabolic means
