Crime / Re: Justice For Vivian John. Pix Of The Lady Pushed To Death By A Chinese Employer by flexStanley: 3:03pm On May 22
Some of us here on nairaland may not understand the situation, this is just one out of many cases. I was so unfortunate to work in this said company some time back, the extent of slave treatment given to our people is so unimaginable.
This is a company when if you dont refer to your Chinese boss as "Master" he may sack you. i was so uncomfortable with the slavery mentality.
I cant narrate all of this here, but i am telling you from a firsthand experience that i am not surprise at the news of this unfortunate death.
I was thinking that by now Abia state govt would have shutdown this company.
Incident/Accident cases was almost on daily occurrence back then, life threatening situation, near death and death cases was so frequent.
Cases of abuse from these so-called Chinese expert is at it peak, to both male or female. These guys regards we blacks as monkeys, they will poo on toilets without flushing for the blacks to clean up, cases of abuse of blacks by using our so-called arm forces personnel to beat and flog the same people working for you. Another negative trend is that they can hire you today and fire you tomorrow without any remorse.
Not to talk of the safety abuse, that's a story for another day. i witness able body men becoming handicap due to accident almost on daily basis. Deaths cases were also recorded in my few months there back then, dont know about now.
I was so scared to the point that each time i resume for night shift, i pray to God to give me job with lesser pay (even if its my salary divided by three) so that i can leave the company and God that answered prayers did it for me within a short period of time.
After much analysis, i found these details:
1. Most of these Chinese men, not all are skilled prisoners, they come here without immigration papers and they bear expatriates, so its expected that these are people without conscious or character.
2. Because Nigeria has too many unemployed persons, they utilize the opportunity to abuse our people, they can employ you today and sack you tomorrow. i can guarantee that despite all these happening, if you go to the gate you will still see scores of people struggling to gain access to get abused.
3. Abia state govt. is turning deaf/dumb, blind eyes no matter how you try to escalate the issue because some persons there are benefitting form this corrupt practices.
4. The superiority of these colored individuals on the part of our uniform men, making them not to understand when to act and when not to act, abusing our fellow brothers at the expense of these so called experts. (Mental Slavery)
Sorry for the long write-up, and RIP to the dead.
Politics / Re: Oke Umurhohwo: Time To Put Homegrown School Feeding Scheme Through Scrutiny by flexStanley: 1:54pm On May 19, 2020
This issue is really making me sick. What did we do as citizens of Nigeria to deserve all this. Corocoro day time our govt go convince us say black na white., And the funniest thing we are just helpless.
Woo unto all our politicians and their unborn generations.
Politics / Re: Bode George: Pumping Billions In School Feeding When Schools Are Closed Absurd by flexStanley: 3:34pm On May 18, 2020
Thank God we still have sane people in this country, because of late I thought am the only sane person in the country. Still trying to imagine how a government without database of it's citizens will achieve such a feat. I bet you even the head mistress or head master does not know where these kids live.
Must every opportunity be an avenue for siphoning the common wealth of our nation. I weep for naija. What a Nation. Woo to you selfish leaders who keep his citizenry in harsh conditions and continue to embezzle, your doom day is near. Thanks sir. Mr. Bode George.
