duchessofyork:Nothing personal against Dominoes. To be forewarned is forearmed. U will notice I specifically referred to the Bodija branch. I av dined at the branch on Ring Road and had no issue. Will certainly visit the ring Road branch again. So erase that "personal vendetta against a business" from your argument. It was my experience (as was the one with Dealday). Reviewing your experience with a company is certainly nothing new and has led to improvement and changes in operation. If you own a company, you should welcome it not try and gag it, irrespective of the content. My comments on FCMB (on nairaland) for instance led to improvement in their operation in regard to the issue I wrote about. That is how a professional outfit reacts. If you are the type that keeps quiet when u receive terrible service, kudos to you. Am not. Similarly, if I experience exceptional service, I will tell the world and social media is a good way of doing so. PS: I did email Dominoes customer care. Yet to get a reply til date. If a company goes down because of poor service, I don't think it deserves my sympathy, nor yours My opinion. It's a free world. |
I wish to use this medium to warn other nairalanders against visiting the branch of Dominoes Pizza in Awolowo road, Ibadan. It has the poorest customer service I have ever come across and the quality of the pizza , judging from my experience is the worst ever When I first walked into that dominoes restaurant at the height of a supposed peak hour and found no other customer in there, my alarm bells should have been ringing. At the time of my visit, there were 6 staff members and 3 security guards. The staffs were so engrossed in their chit-chat that I had to repeat my order 3 times before my server got it right. 1 medium BBQ chicken pizza and one bottle of sprite. Not exactly complicated but when u r distracted, it could be. I ordered to eat-in and took my sit jejely whilst the pizza was being made. The order took about 7 minutes. Next thing, I heard my name being shouted repeatedly by the Dominoes staff. I raised my hand up as if to signal that I was here. I was the only one in the store and was sat in full view of the staff, just 6 feet away. I assumed my order would be brought over to my table (as u would in KFC or any other eatery). I was shocked when the the staff told me it wasn't their job to bring food to the table. His four other colleague agreed in unison. Ok, so I picked my pizza and went to sit. I then realised my bottle of sprite was missing. When I asked for it, he demanded I produce my receipt. Don't tills have records anymore? Has any other customer been served other that me?. I had to dig my pizza soiled finger into my pocket and fetch my receipt before I could get my sprite. Again, it's not their job to bring it to my table. At that point, I didn't feel like eating in-store again and took the pizza into my car. If the service was poor, the quality of the food was appalling. The (thin) crust was burnt and the toppings included so much chilli pieces, my tongue was on fire after 2 bites. I couldn't just eat anymore and the pizza went into the bin. Even Nandos hottest chilli is child's play next to this. It's not my first time of ordering BBQ chicken (usually at the Ring Road branch) and it never tasted like this. It certainly was a terrible experience and I won't wish such on anyone. Forking out N4k on pizza in these hard times is bad enough. If u ever fancy pizza, avoid Dominoes in bodija.......unless u just wanna waste ur dosh. Have a nice evening guys. |
McMayor:Seller, I think this calls for a clarification from u |

How much is dollar trading for today in lagos or ibadan. I av $1k to sell |
Sold some dollars in Ibadan today @315/$. Starting to feel cheated with all this talk of 330 in abuja and 320 in calabar. I still have more for anyone based in ibadan. |
Not sure why its not working for you guys. I did mine yesterday and it worked, even though it took a few hours to come on stream/activated |
Any politician who knows his onions in oyo state knows that Oyo PDP has moved out of the RENTED building you cited, leaving the landlord at Liberty to sell. Oyo PDP has BOUGHT a building in molete which it now uses as it's State's secretariat. It's fully branded and signposted. So your doom prediction for the party in Oyo merely reflects ur ignorance of events in oyo polity. |
I think that's enough......on someone else's post.

Let me guess, another northerner will be his replacement soon.........and he (replacement) off course, is without blemish nor would he award contracts to his own company or kinsmen. Just passing...... |
ziccoit:Rubbish. Osun only has 26 House of Assembly members. Their aides are not paid directly by the Osun govt. It's paid from the allowances of the Honourable members which is decided by the Revenue and Fiscal Mobilisation Committee. It's a statutory organisations guided by the constitution. Only this body can alter the payment of Honourable members. Aregbe who never really apointed commissioners and SAs in the first place has no one's allowance to cut except his, and his illegal 30 LG Chairmen, perhaps. He is merely playing to the gallery |
I feel relieved am not alone and brought the scammers to the fore. I just learnt dealdey and Konga is owned by the same person. Shouldn't this be on the front page to warn others? |
I want to use this forum to air my predicament in my shopping experience with dealdey.com and warn others against falling into the same trap I did. I am a regular online shopper. From Jumia to Ebay, I shop. So I decided to try dealdey, who have been bombarding me with their special offers via email. Big mistake. I started with a small transaction of three items costing 1k each. After paying, the first thing I noticed was the delivery period of 10working days. Even eBay items from China sometimes arrive sooner. Any zeal you av for the item ordered would fizzled out by then. Anyway, I chose to exercise patience even though I didn't have much of a choice after payment. Within minutes of paying, I was notified that one of the items had been "processed" and I would be contacted once it was ready for collection. (Note: collection, not delivered to you). There was no notice of processing of the other two items. I assumed processed meant "dispatch". Another mistake. After 7 days, I contacted their customer service (via mail since they just won't pick my call). I was concerned that the other two items were not yet processed. The chances of receiving them in 10 working days was slim since they had yet to process them after 7days. Dealdey replied me by saying I should just wait for my 10 working days. At the expiry of that period, I received a mail that one of the unprocessed items was no longer available and my (dealdey) account had been credited with N1k. I think refunding the money back to my debit card is preferable. I don't see myself buying from DealDey again. You are not given the option of where you want ur refund. Don't Paypal refund ur money back to your debit card?? Sounds like 419 to me. 13 working days later, nothing from dealdey. I emailed them again and it took Customer care two days to even acknowledge my complaint! After 15 working days, I am yet to receive my goods, refund or explanation from DealDey. If this isn't obtaining money by trick a.k.a 419, then I don't know what is. It's possible that some other nairalanders have had good experience with DD or even worse than mine. Personally, I won't recommend them to my enemy. Take your money elsewhere. These guys are just fraudulent and a mock outfit, not an online shop. Thank God it's only N3k. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!! |

Here is what I found when I opened a large tin of Heinz baked beans this morning (first image). The tin had an expiry date of January 2016, it didn't appear tampered with before opening and I only just bought it (from my regular supermarket ) about two weeks ago. I opened a second tin, which was fine (2nd image). I av included a pix of the serial number to help the manufacturer/importer. You never know, they might be reading this.

Is Ngige the only person in Anambra? after losing the guber the first time, he was given the ticket to run for Senate. As a sitting senator, he ran for governor again and came a disappointing third. Yet, he was given the senatorial ticket again to return to the Senate, which he lost. Now his name is being mentioned for future appointments (be it through Okorocha, TinUbu or Buharis list). SO, Is he the only credible person that can serve from Anambra? Haba |
I have a (N1k) BIS on my glo line, which I only use for data since mtn calls work out cheaper for me. I loaded 1k for renewal today and before u can say BIS, GLO had sent me a network text mesage (something to do with getting an online tutor for children). I then got a message saying the last call cost me N4. I didn't subscribe for anything on GLO neither did I make any call. My data service was also switched off (for renewal) even though that's all I use the line for i.e data. Now I went to buy N100 card to add to the N996 left on my phone and before I could even load it, two more network messages have entered and zapped another N8. I have been calling the GLO customer service but I keep geting the "network is congested, pls try again later" rubbish. During that time, another N4 deducted. I had to switch off the phone and use my MTN to post this, in hope of getting help on how to stop this zapping. |
Nigeria don enter "one chance" with APC. |
See some idiots hailing NCC, which was set up to protect the interest of Nigerians for canceling a tariff that actually benefits Nigerians! What harm did the tariff do to Nigerians or NCC? Etisalat (who introduced similar tariff before MTN) and Glo are pinching MTN subscribers daily and costing MTN revenue (am not sympathising). There is also increased operation cost for all networks due to fuel scarcity. Yet, these NCC wants "settlement". We r Nigerians and can read between the lines of the letter. I suspect Etisalat, who "settled NCC" is behind this. They expect to reap the returns of their settlement by having monopoly over the tariff for some time. |
Bonapart:Foreign exchange rate has been going up as far back as the 1980s. Has it come down? Mtschewwwww |

Years:Sorry to butt in. Did u see this bike in oyingbo, lagos? If yes, I av made a lesser offer than ur 1.5, which was accepted, but I found the dealer very shady, despite his "holier than life" smooth tongue. Even if u decide to buy at whatever cost, test drive (more than 100km) before balancing payment...........Assuming it's the same bike and dealer. Once u confirm it's oyingbo, I will gladly expose the dealer. |
@Inze. I beg now. Na only my own u just dey skip. JH2RC46C54M600042. It's a powerbike 9jatowtruck@gmail.com |
