A friend of mine was denied visa when applying immigrant visa to US due to her spouse misrepresentation which she was given alien smuggling. Will it affect her now that she wants to apply for canadian or australian visa with her current spouse as she divorced her former spouse some years.

I want to know if visa 189 can be granted to someone who have a clean police report well educated Fluent english knowledge and work skill but have been given a barred from USA for having a spouse who was not eligible.

This is now the beginning of my experience. Two days later I was called to come for another Interview
and on the day to collect the visa I was called again to come for interview with different date.
I honored the earlier date but was told to come i the later date.
On the Day, They revealed to me that My hubby had a case with SFU Ikoyi which i did not know. The embassy wanted to be sure that I don't know about
it and they also doubted our marriage.
We were referred to SFU so that they can send their findings to the embassy. Later I was called by 10pm by an official from us embassy to speak with my Hubby. Hubby traveled to Ibadan for a family issue which i told him. He immediately called my hubby to confirm his whereabouts.
Then, This week, the embassy called us to come next week again which I don't know what they want or if it will be further interview.
or to collect our visa with is still with them.
Please advise.

My sorry is so pathetic. Our visa had been approved and printed for collection. But my husband had a case with Special Fraud Unit of which I got to know at the embassy after interrogation with them. We were sent to SFU and the embassy say only if they will get a good report about the case then they will proceed from there. I was so disappoint in my Husband because we would had collected a court dismissed on the case on the date of the interview.
Please pray for us so that a good report can be forwarded to the embassy.

ferdiii: That is what am saying. They are harsh here. They ought to have alerted you on the change. People change not them! Prepare for the new date, bro.It is gonna be fine.

@Temmytanny: Thanks for your reponse. Before we were allowed into the building, we were asked to check our names at FBU which was not there.We were very early for 12 noon appointment. When we were called, we were told that our date has been rescheduled to August (Us embassy rescheduling date for us) I done understand.

Please help me out! We went to the embassy on the date given to us and we were told that our date has been postponed to August and we should go to the main gate for our next interview. what does this mean?

After our interview on Tuesday 3-7-2012 which were given approval we were called on 6-7-2012 to come on a date for further interview with my husband

Someone wet for interview on Wednesday 20/6/2012, He went with a replaced waec certificate of 1986 which was new and the consular officer asked him when did he get the certificate and he lied that it was 1986 a letter was given to him to come back in a year time with the certificate. Does it mean he is denied

Hello every one, I have really benefited from this forum. I am a winner of the 2012 dv lottery and my interview with my husband is in two weeks time. I recently Graduate and got my certificate and i have a professional certificate and currently working in a financial institution and married this year.
Do they need NYSC certificate and your company Id card.
