the point is a church member still have to tell him what to do for him to grasp what it means to be born again. The church is not the building as is mistakenly called by so many, the church are people scattered everywhere according to James 1:1-2.the opening of the very apostle Paul (you mention) letters was addressed to people not the temple nor the synagogues. 2, everyone who repent or become born again MUST have had an encounter at one point in time, irrespective of where that happened. Cornelius had an encounter in his own house, he had to sent for Peter. 3, Paul did not baptise himself, neither did he change his name himself but by the church.thanks to Barnabas a Church member. In conclusion, an encounter is not the new birth experience. Paul encounter did not stopped there but the beginning of the journey. Have you heard about this movie called pilgrims progress?
