I do believe that the above video does deserve to have 6,000 hits and it is infact better than all the crap videos Dbanj has put out of recent. However with that being said, its not above Nigerians in general to set up fake YouTube accounts etc which is why the average American thinks we are shady. Final note, True craft speaks for itself. You will never hear of Dr Dre or Swizz beatz buying a fake vevo account. Its about time Nigerians stopped being dubiously genius and learn to just be plain "Genius". Enuf said |

Chimamanda is even more famous in the United States and Europe that she is in Nigeria, and you say she has not gone that far! Well I will blame it on ignorance!So, normally i just like reading threads on NL and not commenting, but imma break my silence this one time. My rejoinder is aimed at cramjones. First off, i live in d US, WASHINGTON D.C to be exact.i also work there. I travel to NY regularly and all over the East coast. I am yet to hear one person mention Chimamdas name in the last 2 years. The problem most "pseudo-accomplished" naijas have is to downplay others achievements, especially here in the US. If you dont have anything positive to say, keep quiet. I love reading books, but methinks Chimamanda needs to work harder if she wants to be on the same pedestal with with the likes of Wole Soyinka., and at that not in a few years. Enough said |
