TheYoda: All this I too know newbie trader, Fmusty, ( demo trader for that matter, nothing against demo traders but I too know newbies ) . Because your system gives you sell, other people should abandon their own system and sell with you. Silly boy.
Same way you jump to conclusion that I'm looking for sell everyday. I'm a swing trader silly boy. I don't look for sell everyday.
UsdCad didn't get to S/R 61 for my swing trading entry.
TheYoda: All this talk, just drag your history on chart, to show where you sell usdcad ... We all can learn from it, or is it just mouth you use to buy and sell. No need to reply if you are not posting chart to show the sell. Go through my history, you can learn one or two things, newbie.
TheYoda: I don't bicker, you talk too much, show your sell on usdcad. Drag your history on chart I'm sure you don't know what that means.
My moniker is not old too, I've made some few live calls here, check my history. Have respect for your elders, I know you're still trading demo, don't worry, live market will humble you soon, not me.
I thought you are matured before, but unfortunately u are not, I can see you dont want critic, elder to who? Be like your brain cells is dead.
I love what i see in this pair, i will risk some cash in this soon, for a SHORT.......... potential 100 pips profit. Will enter if price goes lower than the present day candle low.
TheYoda: Don't use just mouth, show me chart where you enter sell? You new traders jump alot to conclusion, even some don't even read. Just glance through text.
Where did you see me looking for sell everyday? you just made that up from no where LOL.
Quack Old trader . You expect me to leave a running trade, even if i see a reason to exit the trade? Because you want me to prove a point to you? You are a joker.
You are a boy to me in this game guy, telling me new trader... Your brain tells you that any moniker you are not familiar with on this thread is a new trader right?
No vex, seems you don't want any critic, we they gbadun your set up. Well done
Let me share what i have in pairs shared by pipnator, abi na pipterminator
PIPnator10: ⬆ The name of the game is, you mind/trade your analysis. Whatever the outcome, good or bad you take. Same chart but everyone sees it differently. Everyone trades what they see. You dont force anyone to trade what you see neither should anyone force you to trade what they see. Whatever chart anyone (myself inclusive) posts here can best be described as trade idea.
The way u people interpret at times is amazing, where in d write did i force anyone to trade my set up?
We need to really work on our comprehension skills
TheYoda: Did you enter sell? or just looking at it going down?
Of course I am in a selling, i just find it surprising with your every day look out for a buy. You can't turn market direction with emotion, you do what price action tells you.
Shevychen2: Just catching up on everything I have missed so far..
Just read this page if you want to understand what I mean https://confessionsofatrader.com/.. The page is also important for anyone just starting out. It may be best for you to not start at all because there is an 80% chance that you will be frustrated even 5 years from now! Not a curse or exaggeration. Hard truth.
Baba nla. I salute
My favorite quote
Being a (successful) trader isn’t about putting on trades, it’s about not trading at all. It’s about protecting the capital in your account and waiting days or sometimes weeks for the perfect moment to strike.
Based on logistics, if today's candle close as a strong bullish candle, then going for long position won't be a bad idea. That's also a flag formation.
Arkjones: but I think b4 it shows to bearish on d weekly nd daily chart.. it has to first on d 15 down to 1h nd 4hrs.. am just speaking from my Naivety.. as m a new bie.. does it makes sense?
They are different types of traders
scalper, Swing trader Position traders.
Majority, expecially new traders prefer smaller time frame, they fall into scalper (smaller time frame set up).
The truth is, in smaller time frame, u will see so many set ups to enter a trade, at the same time, many failed set ups, because of too much NOISE.
Most consistent traders stick to higher time frame..... And enter trades on 4H and daily.
Personally, the least time frame I look at is 4H, which is rare..... I am more of doing my technical analysis on monthly and weekly, then my entering on daily. This way I see fewer set ups which is better, than seeing many.
I think if u are looking for bearish signal, its better to get your confirmation on higher time frame.
Arkjones: professional In d house please look at this as am still a newbie.. NZDJPY.. on daily chart yesterday candle was a shooting star.. nd d 69.278 has a major resistance for months.. then on d 1hr chart its retesting.. is it a sell if retest d 50%.. ur words..
No one is 100% accurate in forex, my advice is to trade with d trend, if u look at weekly and daily time frame, u will see that there is a sign of a start of uptrend, for me to sell this pair, another rejection of the resistance line u draw on the daily time frame will be a better confirmation to sell. As it is now, no good reason to sell, still a buy.
redsox11: Not true, absolutely. There's no one way to make money trading forex.
Did u see where i wrote in my opinion ?
Give yours, I give mine.... Don't discredit anybody's view here, the fact that my user name is new here (have been a member of this thread for more than 3 years, just decided to create another nairaland acct), doesn't mean I am a newbie.
I repeat, all this fancy indicators are all CRAP. Work on what gives true presentation of the market in real time - Candlestick, enter trades at major resistance/support zone (monthly/weekly) after seeing your price action confirmation, don't go against the trend except u are a professional, keep it simple.
tradepunter: We are really doing a deservice to none professional traders and newbies.. Survey of fx in niaja is really bad, if you can not hold the hand of your said student for at least 6 month to a 1 year don't take his money to say you will train him/her.
If you feel they are not psychological fit tell them from the onset that it will be dangerous if they engage.
Forex is not a business for everyone so don't have to a overzealous brand ambassador were you say yes to everything.
The brokers are very deceitful also, I don't know why they are permitted to train new comers especially when there is conflict of interest.
Our 2 years survey across the country showed a bad taste for forex.... Which is not good, because in everything one does you must sacrifice and give value.
To those already giving value, maintain that track..
Well said. All kinds of education in naija is bad, fx education is badder, those who call themselves professionals in naija are baddest
THExxCRAFTERxx: I know a few, but for clarification purposes, I will one of them:
He is known as John Rambo in the trading community and he is a badass scalper, check out his interview by Aaron Fifield on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkRw6NC0Jew
Enjoy
Thanks. Good luck to all scalper, personally... I am a swing/position trader.... I can not keep looking at chart all day.
In trading, there are gazillion ways of trading...
Your trading style has a lot to do with your temperament.
Some traders have VERY LITTLE patience trading off the 1 hour, 4 hours, daily or weekly chart, so they trade-off the 5 minutes to 15 minutes chart and are VERY successful at it.
Mind you, any trader who has a different temperament will struggle scalping. It's the same thing with swing-trading. Traders would wait for days and sometimes weeks before they take a trade or exit a trade.
What you have to, first of all, know about yourself in order to be a successful trader is:
What TIME FRAME is your sweet spot?
Once that is settled, learn a good trading system which supports your core personality, rather than copying a trading plan that doesn't fit your personality.
I hope this explains it
Thanks, but u still didn't answer my question, u only gave explanation of temparament, types of traders and all.
