Not sure i got your point but it is the same IELTS exam and grade is the same from 1-9. You will be awarded whatever your mark is. But they only have center in Lagos for now i guess.

For those that are still preparing for the IELTS or want to retake the exam, note that it is not only British council that is handling the exam in Nigeria.
FYI, IELTS is own by IDP Education, British Council and Cambridge English Language Assessment. So you can also take your IELTS exam in IDP center in NIgeria (MOD Education Lagos, Nigeria). You can read more on:

WES processing time is now 7 working days! With that, a UK degree will sure receive ECA in about 2 weeks well ahead of ICES 4 - 5 weeks.

WES course by course evaluation ( for Education only and not Canada Immigration) is 7 busines days after receipt, review and approval of all documents

WES ECA for Canada immigration is still 20 business days ( as at today 26th Aug 2017) after receipt, review and approval of all documents.

Hope you get the diff now

I know WES does NOT, please i need clarification so that i can cancel my application with IQAS and check with ICES. this wait with IQAS is killing after one month of sending transcript and no confirmation.

Soft copy will be sent to me. That is what IQAS does. sofy copy will be sent to your email address and hard copy dispatch to your address. Actually i did it that way because someone will bring it for me when it is ready.

I have neither of the cards. I am trying wells fargo, fcmb dollar Mastercard and diamond credit card. None is going through. Infact I jst got prompted that I have exceeded card attempt that I can only pay with money order or cheque now.

if you dont mind, there should be no issue with FCMB DOllar MAstercard. I Might be able to help check what the issue is. that is if you dont mind.

If you have Access Bank Naira Mastercard Debit, you can try it. I paid IQAS fee two days back using same naira debit card and was successful. I was charged NGN59,233.44 for CAD 215. This mean the rate used was 275.50

However, you can only do equivelent to 200USD monthly on Access bank while GTBank have 1000 USD monthly.

Sorry about that. If you still have a good reason to try again, simply request for the GCMS notes as earlier suggested on this thread. Then you stand a better chance of improving your chances by working on it. Just be happy!

Please clarify the process and what is needed to apply for the GCMS. Just incase any body what to do that.

The rates wouldn't go up.

1) You will complete the DS-160 for each applicant
2) When you are done completing your profile information and scheduled your appointment, you will be able to add others. it will also ask for your payment receipt (for you and your wife). This mean you will make 2 separate payment in GTB

It is not compulsory that you shld complete (finished) filling the DS-160. However, you will need to start the process because you will need the DS-160 confirmation No to schedule appointment.

Once you start filling the form online, you will have a confirmation no that you can use to schedule an appointment.

Got my visa approved today for 7am appointment.... Its God shaa.

My History........

I have been refused for like 3 to 4 times in the past. The last one was last year August when i wanted to attend my Cousin Graduation ceremony.I coud'nt answer some questions properly. for example, i was asked my Cousin Age and i totally forgot... Even though on a good day, i know it but some how somehow i mentioned a wrong age.... That was for last year August....


Now today, It went this way..[i][/i]

Me: I did that

VO: started typing on his system.... Why are you going to US
Me: To attend my Cousin Wedding ceremony

Vo: Do you mean your cousin is getting married?
Me: Yes

ME: Chicago

Me: I am ********* specialist

Vo: What does been a ******* specialist mean

ME: I explain it better to his understanding what i do daily as my job function

Vo: Are you married?
Me: yes

Vo: Do you have kids?

Vo: checked my passport and saw i usually go to a particular country every year. He now asked what i usually go there for ( This same question was asked last year but because i wasnt expecting such question, i just said something that even me know is wrong.)
Me: My Company Head office is there and every staff is expected to go there at least once in a year for training and seminar.

Vo: started typing again and said your visa has been Approved. Pick it up on Monday and gave me a white paper with address.
Me: Thank you.

1) I didnt go with any document at all (well i printed the wedding iv and didnt use it shaa)
2) No document was checked/asked for (i didnt have any one anyway)
3) I watch the VO Google hangout and it was helpful
