JoaoPedro:
So Ehailing drivers are now being targeted by scammers.
I got a request around Wuse, the rider sent me a message that he wanted me to pickup 5 bottles of Hennessy from the supposed manager of the village chief restaurant and bar. He also asked that I help him give the manager 5k and that he would refund me the 5k plus the 3,500 for the trip=12,000 (I don’t know the maths that he did that he used to arrive at 12k, he was probably trying to prey on my greed)

He forwarded me the “managers” number and I called him when I got there. When I mentioned coming to collect the drinks for the “Army man” that booked me, he acknowledged and said he wasn’t on ground but that he will call his staff to bring the drinks for me. He now brought up the 5k that the “army man” was supposed to give him, I told him that I was aware and that I was going to transfer the money for him. He told me to send him a message on WhatsApp so he could forward his account number, I have our conversation attached below.
Very common here in Lagos, especially on indrive. They will put a tempting price so you won't be able to say no.

Great of you to spot his antics.

You don't have to be an APC member to call out Peter Obi's lying ass. That feminine she-goat needs to be put behind bars for his unfiltered lies.

Why is indrive deducting commission for cancelled trip? Even after they refund you 🤔
I'm confused.
Like, they refunded you then went ahead to debit you again?

This is what this forum /section should be for - Helping our fellow Nairalanders to get the best product for the cheapest price. That's the purpose of the clearance thread.

That way, everybody wins -----The seller wanting to discard his/her product to fulfill an urgent need, and more also the buyer getting good product at a reduced price. Sometimes, buyers do not wish to buy a product, but are tempted when they see the offer on ground, as compared to the current market price.

But some people own na to inflate price even pass market price on top CLEARANCE SALES thread o

God bless all the good salesmen here who have Nairalanders at heart.

Foreigner12, thanks for helping her cut the cost. 100k nor be beans for today's economy. You really tried. We should always try to help each other and not RIP ourselves by using this place as a "dog eat dog" platform.

God bless us all

Oh I was checking the other screenshot she posted that says payment not verified and address not verified.

If she had paid they would have delivered on her 3rd week though from what I use to see in their advert. When you pay halfway they deliver the product.
She explained why it wasn't delivered yet.
You didn't follow the conversation maybe.

I don't think she's yet to make payment on Cd care from the screenshot she posted earlier. No indication of her making payment to verify her purchase.
She has paid ₦419,374 from her screenshot. She has paid 5 weeks out of 6, she has just one last payment to make. Apparently on 83k per week installment.
As a regular user of CDcare, its not difficult to tell.

Thank you sir.
About100k saved.
Esheun sir. smiley
Sometimes all you need is to think things through hence one will keep making financial mistakes.
I'm not judging you though, just passing an honest observation.
Now as it stands, you've opted for the TCL, obviously cheaper than the Kenstar and you're paying outrightly.
Now you will have to cancel your payment plans on CDcare which automatically means 10% of your 400kplus is gone.
Now you will have to wait for 30 days to get a refund. Lol.
You ended up gifting CDcare about 40k for doing nothing when you could have obviously afforded the Kenstar at once in the first place or start your quest for a TV by asking questions on here first.
Either way, na woman you be. More strengths.
Abizz (your friend) would have advised you to buy Hisense. He's their ambassador on here. Lol.

Good morning guys.
Is this TV a good TV?
Who here has used this Kenstar TV before?
Can't seem to find any reviews online.

I can still cancel my payment plan with CDcare and opt for a better one. Tomorrow is the final payment day, need to be sure before heading for pickup.
Cc
Alabaconnect
Why didn't you buy it outrightly? If you literally could afford to pay up in six weeks, is the extra charge not somehow? It's about 460k on Jumia.
Then again, hope you know if you intend to cancel the payment plan, Cdcare will take 10% of the amount you've paid?
3rdly, why hasn't the TV been delivered? Ideally, once you've paid above 50%, cdcare will have the item delivered to you, provided you didn't miss out on any payment schedule.
Finally, if you can afford to; Sony, LG and Samsung are the best TVs in Nigeria as far as you're buying from official outlet.
Since your former TV is of sony product, you may have issues adjusting to any TV of lesser quality. It may not necessarily mean the TV is bad.
People just generally move from Hisense (for instance) to something better (Samsung, Sony and the rest) not the other way round.

Hmm, this your own type of logic is not really computing to me . . . Even a whole African richest black man Alhaji Aliko Dangote still goes to beg banks for loans (as your so called cheap bailouts) upandan to do his businesses talk-less of someone like cheerfulgiver who is just a normal guy trying to hustle his daily bread undecided

So someone should overlook something that will work to his advantage just because he has all the money sitting in his bank?

If I ask you to make it make sense now you might take offense so I'd just let sleeping dogs snore 😏

Which part of the car can he not replace with an income of N12m a year?
All these excuses are stale now. Since 2017 people have been giving this excuse and I keep saying if u earn a good profit monthly from the car, then spend money to maintain it well and it will never die. It's not about being gentle, repairs will still come and when they do and u cant fix the car that's when wailing will start. U begin to hear stories like drivers can't boast of 500k in their account for emergency repairs. Ehailing is this ehailing is that...
So my own is whether u drive ur car or u rent a car, or u give our cars, what matters is ur take home at the end of the day
Are you an adult?
12M annual income means 12M is sitting unused in your account?
You know what renders your assertions flawful? Atleast from the few I read.

He opted for a Suzuki HP car so as to avoid major expenses. If it was that easy to have 12M saved up from this hustle, he won't need a cheap bail out to maintain a car that purportedly fetched him 21M in 2024.

No be by chochocho, na by logic.

Atleast I hustle with my own car(s) and I remain gentle with it (them).
Unlike you lots who will rather drive a car into oblivion because it's someone else's.

Try this your stupid style of hustling with a car purchased with your hard earned money.

Nlanalyst:
I appreciate this review too but let me correct an impression.
Firstly, I've bought about five of itel star 200, thrice from jumia and twice from normal physical shops. Infact, I bought mine for #7,800. Only times I bought higher than that price was when I ordered for the one with a purported fast charger (#10,990) and other times, when I bought from physical shops because of how quickly I wanted them (#11,000 each).
Itel powerbanks are very good and they last quite well, that I can tell, if they weren't, I won't have bought five different ones. I'm saying this to let you know my comparison wasn't an unrealistic one. I have a number of the two products to draw conclusions.
While it's true that the first and second bar unarguably last longer than the remaining two, I tell you this, I do not see it as a problem because the first two bars are as good or even better than the first 3 bars of itel's. If I expected the four bars to be equally strong then I could as well expect the 20000 mAh powerbank to low-key be a 40000 mah. It's never really about how long each bar takes to drop, it's about how long the powerbank itself lasts overall. There seems to be an issue with the caliberation which isn't apparently accurate. But if overall, it can charge my 7000 mAh battery 2 times comfortably and be left with two bars that could charge it to a minimum of 50% then it's more than worth it for me which is exactly what it's been doing. My itel powerbanks, although very strong especially when I just got them, could slightly do this currently. This might be because they are old already though.

Good morning.
Wetin you dey buy these plenty powerbanks for?
You wan build nuclear weapons with them? grin grin

Lmao!
70k? I'm not saying it's feasible to earn this much day to day but on that Sunday that doubles as Sallah day, lmao. I made over 70k and I returned home around 9 PM because bolt doesn't give out jobs to dispatchers from 8 PM for reasons I don't know and I can't work with Uber alone since it pays peanut so I had to return home after I ended the last job I took before 8. If I wanted to work extra hours, I could easily make 100k because orders were crazy.
Attached is a screenshot of my earning in May even as there wasn't surge and as I did plenty offline trips too. Mind you, I pick jobs from Uber and indrive to compliment every long delivery which means this is just a normal month earning on bolt alone (mind you, I didn't work 31 straight days and there were days I just did one trip and returned home).
