Car Talk / Re: Hyundai owners Discussion by formaxy: 9:33am On Jun 20, 2023 |
Guys, I'm already getting tired of suspension issues with my Elantra 2014. Although I live in a bad terrain in Ogun state but the issues are still too much. The lastest is after replacing all 4 shock absorbers and faulty hub bearing the vehicle seems to bounce and creak when climbing portholes or rough roads. Is there any reliable Hyundai mechanic around Ikeja axis or Berger? |

mach7: I don't know if this is deliberate attempt to twist open truth or outright ignorance. Putin's demands as well as the negotiated conditions for cease fire included: Denazification of Ukraine (whatever that nonsense means), Demilitarisation of Ukraine, Bringing those who he felt where behind the "genocide" in the Donbass to justice. Recognizing the Donbass as independent territories. Has he achieved this? Nah And please don't ask me about links. The internet is very open for anyone honestly Interested in the truth to find it out in 10mins |

Rugaria: Maybe I should help you out in another way. China lost over 60m to war and famine in the 20th century. Japan fought a war that tore the nation to pieces. Vietnam fought a war against colonialism, civil war with the south and border dispute with China and lost over 10% of its population. India too, Laos, Cambodia... Every country has had its own problems to deal with. Even in Africa certain countries have gone through worse than Nigeria and are still better. Keep blaming Lord Lugard for your failure to rise above ethnicity to vote in capable leaders. Very soon Afghanistan and Iraq and even this Ukraine will rise from ashes to surpass Nigeria. Keep blaming the west! Adieu |
Foreign Affairs / Re: NATO: Up To 40,000 Russian Troops Killed, Wounded, Captured Or MIA In Ukraine by formaxy: 10:05am On Mar 25, 2022 |
Rugaria: Can you please quote your reliable Russian sources? Oh! Wait! You can't cos all talk of the invasion has been banned in the Russian media. You talk of independent sources..funny except your Independent sources are conspiracy story channels on YouTube with no credibility. Anyone who speaks the truth to you is automatically labelled brainwashed by Western media. You don't realize it's you who has been so blinded by hate for an imagined enemy that you reason like mangled animal. I know your type- blame others for your failures, but go behind to support a demented PMB or BAT to power and over and over again. Typical black man - blame Europe for all your problems and leave out your own path. Asian countries that where even more damaged by war and genocide in the 20th century and ruled by the same Europeans are growing very fast. Keep blaming dead Europeans for your plight. Don't wake up and build your country. |

WoundedLamb: Honestly, that's the main cause for concern. Even in defeat, NATO has to give Russia a way to save face otherwise they'll probably do something funny on their way out... Like use a nuke on Kyiv after their defeat |

joyandfaith: Putin apologists are honestly tiring. You can't just start a war to defend so call "ethnic Russians" in another country. If so, German can annex Austria, Mexico invade the US(suicide obviously), and so on. Russia is after territorial expansion. Territorial expansion is the major cause of half the wars in history. It should be condemned not emulated 12 Likes 1 Share |

chronique: So the "22nd best army in the world" is a strong army compared to Russia? Or you didn't know Iraq was the 4th largest army in the world yet the US drove them out of Kuwait in 100hrs? The different in ability between the top 2 global armies and the rest is a whopping chasm. You can't compare them on paper. Yea, Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe but European countries apart from Russia have very small land masses. For instance, Ukraine's landmass is 60% that of Nigeria's |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Jens Stoltenberg Warns Russia That Attack On Arms Convoys Will Be An Escalation by formaxy: 12:55pm On Mar 13, 2022 |
engrchykae: Nope. The USSR in WW2 had so many advantages that worked against Germany - Far larger population and the will to commit millions back into the war despite heavy casualties. The Red army lost 4.2m men in the first year of the invasion (think am) - The winter. Seems Hitler didn't quite read about Napoleon's adventures in the 19th century. - mostly importantly, the geographical size of Soviet union meant the Wehrmacht has to stretch its supplies lines over hundreds of kilometres in the winter to the front. The army can win a war without food and supply of armour. This worked against that's Nazi's France on the other hand is a far smaller country, same weather as Germany and just across the border. This is not about strong blood. The French army has won more wars than any other country in history |

NigeriaNawa: The Russia army is now weakened by war in Ukraine and European members of the alliance have been emboldened by Russia's failure against a third tier Ukrainian military. If Russia attacks NATO, it would be suicidal. 13 Likes |

Shoodboi: For people that keep quoting the Cuban crisis a way of justifying Russia's invasion tend to completely miss the most apparent lesson of the Cuban crisis: Kennedy and Nikita Kushrev both realised they couldn't afford to go to war and instead made compromises through back channels in the interest of peace. Negotiation is and remains a far better tool than war. |
