Komodo dragon or Komodo monitor (also known as ORA meaning "LAND CROCODILE" is the world's largest existing lizards growing up to 10ft in length and 70kg in weight.

The Komodo dragons was first documented by dutch in 1910 when the Dutch colonial administration ordered explorers to verify the certainty of rumor of an existing dragon-like creature in Komodo island of Indonesia and was later confirmed in 1912.

Despise being discovered in Indonesia, fossils record shows that these beast lizards first existed in Australia.

Komodo dragons has a fork-shaped tongue that uses to sample its environment. They're are one of the few existing venomous lizards, it's venom causes instant shock to its prey that makes its weak to fight.
It's prey is said to die after 24hrs of blood poisoning because the Komodo monitor's saliva contains 50 strands of bacteria.

They prefer dry and hot habitat and very-fast carnivorous animals that can kill wild pigs in seconds and are known to grave robing of recently buried.

Though, attack on humans are rare, they've been responsible for 5 deaths in last 38 years and others badly injured despite recovering.

Komodo monitors exhibits parthenogenesis; a process where female lays egg without mating. The Komodo monitor also cannibalize it's young ones.

The Komodo lizards, today, exists only in islands of Komodo and other parts in Indonesia.

A TV Presenter who also works as a model, Emilia Samuel, has
accused a Filmmaker Theo Ukpa of rape.
According to the lady who took to her Instagram page to write
on the incident. The allege rape happened when she was just 16
years old and unfortunately, it was the man that de-flowerd her
because she was still a virgin at the time.
In her post, she claimed she recently came across his page
after he got married yesterday and she couldn’t help herself as
the memories continue to haunt her.
She claimed he might want to deny committing the act, but her
model colleagues who were working with her at the time can
attest to the allege rape.

35-year-old man, Mr. Yinka Alabi, has pleaded before an Idi-
Ogungun Customary Court, Agodi, Ibadan, Oyo State, not to
dissolve his marriage despite his wife admitting to being raped
by another man.
Responding to a divorce suit filed by his wife, Funmilola, Alabi
told the court that the woman claimed to have been raped in her
office, but that he still loved her.
Yinka said, “My wife’s adulterous ways are terrible. She was in
the habit of receiving her boyfriends’ calls in my presence, but
my ill-health condition makes me to accept all her
shortcomings.
”My lord, I urinate through the use of catheter and my wife
knows what am passing through. I paid her upfront before
allowing me to have sex with her, but I am not bothered
because I love her and do not agree with the dissolution of our
10-year-old marriage.”
According to NAN, His wife Funmilola, 31, had earlier urged the
court to grant her divorce request, alleging constant brutality on
her by the husband.
According to her, Yinka is always suspicious that I engage in
extra-marital affairs.
”He has no regard for my parents, so I can no longer endure his
nagging and brutality,” she stated.
President of the court, Chief Mukaila Balogun,in his ruling urged
the couple to resolve the issue for the sake of the only child of
the marriage and advised the respondent to find means of
reconciling with his wife since he did not want the marriage to
end.
He adjourned the case until August 31 for report of settlement or
continuation of hearing.

as soon as possible.
Some schools may not even publish list of admitted candidates
on their own portal or notice board. So for candidates that
applied for admission in such schools, the only way to know
when they have been offered admission is to check their
admission status on JAMB CAPS.
How To Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
1. Visit: http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/ and login with your
registered email address and password to access your
dashboard
2. After you have log in you will see a welcome notice just
move down on the page you will see "check 2018 UTME/DE
Admission Status on CAPS". Click on it and you will be
redirected to the caps page
3. After clicking on "check 2018 UTME/DE Admission Status
on CAPS", you will see a page showing your JAMB details
and your admission status, If you have been given
admisison, you can now go ahead to accept it or reject it.
Note: If you are using a phone, you may not see the option to
check is Admission Status on CAPS, Most phone users may
only see the welcome message. The caps page shows only
welcome because it requires you to use desktop mode to view
the complete page. This is why the chrome browser is
recommended if you are a using a phone. All you need to do is
go to Chrome option and choose request desktop site for the
complete page to display.

A student of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, was allegedly shot dead by a SARS officer in Osun State.

Babatunde Nafiu was reportedly shot dead at about 9pm on Thursday evening in Iwo town, Osun State.



An eyewitness claims that they were looking for a bike man around Ajangbala, area in Iwo town, on their way home, before the SARS officer allegedly attacked them and shot Babatunde. He died at the scene 

The eyewitness claims the trigger-happy officer's name is Gbadamosi Lukman, aka Radical.

Friends of the deceased have gone on his Facebook page to mourn him.
