EducationRe: DELSU Bans Miniskirt; Reduces Number of Campus Fellowships by Forward1(m): 12:19pm On Jun 29, 2015
The ban on mini skirt within campus is a good one but reducing the numbers of fellowship is outrightly unacceptable. Its an infringement on the students fundamental human right.

CareerRe: I Have Never Believed In Going Around And Applying For Jobs by Forward1(m): 12:56pm On Jun 26, 2015
Though I would never have rejected a well paid job. But when it was not forth coming I had to make use of every opportunity available for me. I finished my National Diploma in 2007 at Petroleum Training Institute (Industrial Safety and Environmental Engineering Technology), Effurun (Best Student of my class). I was not so determined at applying for jobs and I never did. Rather I applied for Industrial experience which was easier to get than employment. I started with Environmental Health Office in 2007. After one year I moved to Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) -still industrial experience.

When I completed my experience I stayed back as a casual staff where I was preparing to get admission back to school for my Bachelor's degree. I had admission in 2010 to study Chemical Engineering in UNIUYO, through UME - not even direct entry.

I hussled, did weekend home lesson, registered a consulting business and did minor consulting services in downstream Petroleum Sector. In my sophomore year I won the PTDF scholarship for my programme. Within the five years, I went back to DPR for more six months industrial experience and Exxonmobil for another six months experience. Now I am a graduate with experience (graduated best in my class with 4.40 CGPA). Looking ahead.

I'm not so much moved with applying for jobs - though would not hessitate to get a good offer that would come on merit. I'm planning to make the consulting business I registered more organised with full incorporation. I picked interest in Organic oils, Soap, and Detergent in my undergraduate - had done a project on that.

I'm now working on raising money to setup a plant for production of these products. Presently i'm partnering with a collegue and we are running an evening school. I have always approached life with a positive mindset. Though not too rich (financially) right now but i'm not begging. Sponsored myself successfully through out my degree. Built a mini flat in my father's compound and have a great wealth of experience in life and career. I believe my story can be of encouragement to someone.

I think we have something in common. I graduated from a prestigious university with a 2.1 & i rounded my nysc about two years ago but I've never been interested in writing aptitude test or going for an interview. I started off a business immediately after my nysc and i can tell you God has been faithful. Though i was under great pressure from family & friends to get a job.
TravelRe: Taking Food Out Of Airplanes by Forward1(m): 6:24pm On Jun 25, 2015
Can someone please explain to me why people (especially girls) keep taking airplane food out of the aircraft? Aero, Medview, First nation and a couple other airlines always serve with some kind of 'take-awa' pack, but should people have to take these packs away out of the airplane like uncultured men, carrying them about the airplane like they are some party gifts?

Y u dey spew rubbish? Its no man's business.

RomanceRe: "I Am Tired Of Being His Sex Machine And Abortion Bag" by Forward1(m): 2:18pm On Jun 25, 2015
MY TAKE ON THIS:
Firstly, life is a warfare & you must fight to WIN. you shouldn't have gone back to him after the first abortion.
Since ur parents can afford to pay ur fees then u have no reason to stay under that man's roof. I believe u're a Christian & u belong to a christain fellowship in ur sch. Almost all students fellowship has a general family house. Go to the president of ur fellowship explain ur situation to dem & i believe they will accommodate u there.
You can also get a part time job to support yourself (i don't want to hear there are no part time job in my sch as excuse ). The only reason dat may still keep u under dat man's roof could be dat u enjoy sex with him. Please don't give up, don't take your life & open up to some responsible persons around u. Keep fighting & keep winning. Above all, fear God & be prayerful.
RomanceRe: 8 Ways Ladies Stylishly Punish Guys On First Date by Forward1(m): 10:57am On Jun 25, 2015
Orijin101:
1. Bring friends along like Protocol officers.

Hmmm. . . I had that experience once with Folake, i met the biatch on Facebook and i later realized that she was not too far from my hood then we plan how we were gonna meet up. On that faithful day, in front of God and man, i had just N500 on me with the hope of spending just N400 for snacks and bottled water. . .

Exactly 5.30PM, i was awaiting her at the restaurant with a bottle of water on my table, sipping it with straw just like one mumu nairalander did the day he made a proposal to his babe.

Lo and behold, i saw Folake coming with gangs of friend just like Jesus Christ roaming the street of Jerusalem with his disciples. . . Jeeeez! I was dazed for some seconds and i thought within me, Orijin you have just N500 with you and you must feed these 7 hungry looking lions, what will you do?

Then i remembered the word of God which says "Blessed be to the servant whom applied wisdom", omo, na so i wisdomly sneak comot for the restaurant ooo. . .
Few minutes later, my phone started ringing, behold! It was Folake, and she was like, I'm already there, where are you? I replied, i will be with you in a jiffy, order the foods and drinks on me. . . The she-diot and her friend stupidly did that, 30 minutes later, my phone rang again but i declined her call and i replied her with a message saying "GOD PUNISH YOU!!!!!" switched off phone. . .
