Just like in the medical field, nobody will employ an engineer as a doctor. The issue for me is not about competence its about remuneration. How many teacher will boldly come out today and say they are happily teaching beacuse they love teaching or its just the last resort. Most public schools teachers were never trained as one hence there's no passion from the onset just the paycheck and even if the government increases their pay it won't yield much return too in that sector because most of the teachers never had the passion. I don't know how we got here , where connection is needed for every job instead of meeting some required standards. This has affected all sectors alot

On a serious note, I don't really understand the government's goal if it is not to solve societal problems, why are we now having more complicated issues in Nigeria? If i may ask, what have we achieved with the removed subsidy funds? How many factories have been built within the past 3 years? How many new industries have been supported to engage the graduates for value creations? And many more reasonable questions to ask WRT the current Socio-Economic realities in Nigeria... At this point, we need to get spiritual and pray to God to make things right, because the human efforts have failed us...

You see I'm not the only one with these mindset
This change can only start from the top to trickle down for any meaningful impact or change to be really felt. Those I'm not trying to absolve the common folks of blame as well, they are just as terrible. The only problem is that they lack the influence to really effect the needed change so they are helpless and stuck.

But some folks arguing with me think otherwise, insulting me. Saying the leaders emerged from the same people, heaping the blame surely on the common folks.
