Politics › Re: I Criticised Jonathan Nothing Happened, I Criticised Buhari & I Get Death Threat by fr3do(m): 11:05am On Dec 25, 2014 |
ziccoit: Sheikh Gumi an Islamic cleric position in the North can be likened to Pastor Adeboye position in the South. Pastor Adeboye has done the necessity by distancing himself and church from the politics which I expect the likes of Gumi to do too. When you know the truth is too heavy for you to say, you distance yourself from its corridor.
Receiving threats message is not about APC/PDP or GEJ/GMB, it is about people are tired of lies and are ready to protect the upholders of the truth and all it stands for. I wouldn't say sheikh has not been bought if he could be seen openly canvassing for continuity of a failled government.
So, I advise Gumi to distant himself from politics if he can't stand by the truth. So in essence, what you are saying is that if he isn't supporting Buhari, he shouldn't talk. You think your subjective truth is universal truth? |

Is it only the presidential election that is holding? The way e-thugs are thugging about is becoming irritating. The power at the centre should be reduced and states made stronger, so that peace can reign. |

ibisko04: God will bless you more. The greatest mistake the Nigerian state made was the killing of Yusuf. When Yusuf was around and leading this group, he was in total control. If they were violent then, it was under control. Because they listen to their leader instructions. Yusuf was killed like animal without any trial, this is enough to turn them to animals as they are today. Yusuf would have been in the best to control his followers before the whole thing boomerang. The killing of 100 Yusuf mohammeds is not enough to warranty what BH has done. Yusuf with the aid of already violent Northern culture taught even more violence. one way or the other, yusuf's cult would still have resorted to violence. |

Politics › Re: Jonathan To Lose Delta State To Apc Over Tompolo . May Get 20% Of Votes by fr3do(m): 11:24am On Dec 24, 2014 |
barcanista: his bitterness stem from the victory of Okowa over the so-called Urhobo candidates. Jonathan or no Jonathan, Anioma had been itching for the governorship. Despite constituting 33% of Delta, Anioma has not produced a governor since 1991. Urhobo alone can't do jack if not backed by other ethnicities, and that UPU is a primitive organization that a people shouldn't answer to. |

Politics › Re: Jonathan To Lose Delta State To Apc Over Tompolo . May Get 20% Of Votes by fr3do(m): 7:53am On Dec 24, 2014 |
Op na craze man! He deliberately left out Anioma, as if anioma is not delta. If the UPU (a primitively tribalistic organisation so many Urhobos answer to) is so strong, why werent they able to win the PDP gov. Primary? FYI, Urhobos are 35% of delta, Anioma is 33%, the Itsekiris, Ijaws, Isoko consistitute the rest, the UPU may be overrating itself.
Vote for Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for the progress of all Delta. I have been watching, Okowa has never played the 'Anioma card', he speaks for all Delta. The UPU that put APC's Emerhor there, took full pages on Vanguard on the 14th and 16th of this month to scream about Urhobo( they actually meant UPU) interest, electoral war and battle but they never mentioned Delta and how to move her forward. |

khia: That post was meant for you. You were the one complaining about starving Africans on tv as if black Americans are responsible for it. Alot of people on this site has an obsession with TRYING to tear black Americans down. I didnt blame anybody for the starving children in Africa, I only expressed disgust in the way americans (black, white...) pay attention to only the starvation and negativities. I dont know, maybe it makes you people feel better. |

khia: My point is, why are the conversations on black America always focus on the inner city, is it because it gives you something negative to say which some of the people on this forum live to do, instead of focusing on their own poverty, I guess in a small way it makes them feel better about their on suffering. I have never seen anyone on this forum wanting to discuss the sucessful black Americans It's always the same ole bullcrap.
Of course there are more upper class whites because there are more whites in this couutry and by the same logic there are more poor whites ( especially in the south) because there are more of them here. No childrens program said anything about African booty-scratchers. I said percentage, I said percentage because I know whites are more. So we feel better discussing your woes? when you people sum up the whole of Africa with the picture of a starving child with a protruding belly, you guys won't think it isn't fair! |

musicwriter: Seems you've read the message?. Local language, yes. But traditional rullers, no, as they do not have knowledge of scientific matters.
Rather, the way science is taught in schools must be overhauled and cience teachers will have to take a leading role. And of course all done in local language. That's the way to go. Traditional rulers pack a lot of influence and they can direct the people's sentiment away from the supernatural towards science. |

Africa will continue being ridiculed and will continue depending on foreigners forever for solutions until we embrace science. I thank the man though for his help. Science should be taught in our local languages and taken to the grass root. Traditional leaders can be tasked to direct their people towards science. |
