PointB:
Alas, the Delta rape continues
From far flung land,
Where delta riches are shared,
Without recourse to owners
Men gather, to scheme
How the loot and rape will proceed
Now that their lies fail,
Will compromise or brute be the card
Will delta get her crumbs?

Now the Delta licks her wounds
Of miss chances
Not just of Ojukwu
But of Jonah the Lucky
Of what should have been
And what could have been
But never was!

In the far flung land
Where delta loots are shared
Men gather
To chart another scheme
To plunder the delta
In the name of one,
In the name of all!
Even as scales fall
From our eyes
And their lies exposed

Who blinks first
Who blinks next
Who bells the cat
Or cages the frog?

Alas, men gathers now
To share loots
Stolen, from the poor Delta
Masterpiece!

Imagine the kind of country Jonathan is handing over. He's so bitter about his rejection at the polls and is doing everything imaginable to punish Nigerians for the wise choice they make.

Now, look at this man and tell me you really think deep down United Nation would tinker with an idea of making him a special envoy to whatever....

I told people all those talks about giving him an appointment by a world body were just gimmicks to placate the fella knowing fully well how intolerant of defeat some African leaders could be. The imagined without such innuendoes, the dude could simply turn around a say he rejects the outcome of the polls, throwing yet another country in the world into a state of complete chaos and humanitarian disaster.

Shame on Jonathan.
Shame on PDP.
The military was much more brutal in the time of your messiah as a military dictator.

The man raised some vital points, but he should have passed the message in a mature way.
15 million litres of petrol is not enough for Nigeria in day ,and he is only giving it out to his filling stations alone.
and dont you think that the fact that he is selling would make other marketers want to sell?

The author's head is shaking.

. I shouldnt be doing that for you, it is your responsibility. there are very obvious ones, especially when u consider that close to half of the biafrans are not earning livelihood on the biafran soil. in clear terms those ones loses rights and priviledges of a citizen, and becomes foreigners, loss of jobs, loss of right to vote or be voted for, chance of maltreatment and deportation is higher, stiffer taxes and penalties, trade embargo, food sustainability , right political leadership, renewed internal strive, e.t.c I don't see any one talk about these , evidently all u see is the strength, a recipe for disaster
on the part where you said half of biafrans earn out of their region.

This is the 21st century, the SE getting a referundum does not call for persecution for Igbos and SEners outside, same way it does not warrant persecution of Non-SE ners in the SE.
This referendum ish is no joking matter, the people are not talking as if a referendum is a favour to them. They are steadfastly making their demands.

The issue of weaknesses and strengths shouln't decide whether a referendum should be held or not, it is only supposed to be used by proponents of 'one Nigeria' to sway people at the polls.

The british union has more cosmetic legitimacy and shared history more than the Nigerian contraption, but that did not stop Scotland from holding a poll to decide if they remain in the union.

On the part of internal strife.
It has been started clearly that regions that will not carved according to ethnic boundaries will have 100% resource control, what's on your land is what you get. What would the strife now be about?
And the strife can not be more than the strife the northerners have that warrants lynching your countrymen because someone was cartooned in faraway denmark.

I hope those secessionist minded people have done a SWOT analysis of these biafra /lower niger parade ? by SWOT, i mean the strength, WEAKNESS, opportunities and THREATS. Only a fool will be fixated about the strength and opportunities of an idea without looking at the weakness and threats or be under the illusion there are none. When you have assessed the negativities of an idea, you plan for mitigation.

I no wan hear story that touch down the line ooooo. Wish u luck with ur biafra/lower niger, but put it in mind there will be repercussions.
State the perceived repercussions and weaknesses so they can be worked up on to move things forward.

Politics › Re: Where R Those Who Protested Subsidy Removal? by fr3do(m): 5:42pm On May 24, 2015
TRUTHTOPOWER:
That is not the whole truth, with all due respect. Deregulation is by its very name an invitation to oppresive irregularities. we are not talking about onions and pepper that can be left to market forces. the ideal term is liberalization as we have in the banking industry. The current price of oil demonstrates that removal of subsidy cabal will only create a marketers' cartel. either way corruption is the problem. Is govt subsidizing cement? why is the price going up? Fundamentals of demand and supply in oil industry involves transparent liberalization of the process, that is why we have Nigeria Extractive Industry Transparency Act. What does it take to import? what does it take to tank? what are the incidental cost? Who qualifies to import? who verifies? What is the arbitration process? When you keep all these process in the dark how can any other policy work in complete anarchy? Total for instance will rather refine crude than import products.

Think about it: will deregulation open a floodgate of supply? No. so it remains a sellers market. if it doest how about standard. Every sector currently enjoys arbitrary price regime, tarrifs, interest, profits name it.
Cartelism is every where. go to that airport and buy 75cl Eva water it is 3times the actual price. Why? it is sold by 'concessionaires' in a confined ' environment. Experience has repeatedly shown that market forces does nothing in Nigeria except creation of cartels who device means making spurious profits at the expense of the consumer.
be positive!
The thing that stopped an onion and palm oil cartel from forming can also cripple the oil cabal.

I have not seen anyone here in Yenagoa that wants to be in a new country with ibos.
They even like Yorubas more than ibos.
do they like the Hausas more than the Igbos?

We know that the support of GEJ by the majority of Igbos (I must respect Igbos who didnt vote for GEJ) in the presidential election has stirred up an alliance between the two ethnic groups.
I suspect this alliance was very instrumental to the emergence of Okowa an Anioma man and Otuaro an Ijaw man as Governor-elect and Deputy-governor-elect of Delta state respectively.

An Ijaw man told me yesterday that they cannot be in the same country with ibos should Nigeria disintegrates.
He said, we are better off in Nigeria than to be in a new country with ibos that have eyes on their oil.
He said, politically they can be allies but it won't go beyond that level.
you are yoruba!
You are not comfortable with the SS and SE overlooking unnecessary and self destructive hatred to join forces for their own good.

What about all other Ijaw men except your friend.
