Highnesscfr2030:
Senator Natasha A. Uduaghan’s Town Hall Engagement: A Shining Example of Representative Democracy

In a remarkable display of commitment to her constituents, Senator Natasha Akpoti recently held a town hall meeting with the people of Kogi Central, showcasing a exemplary model of representative democracy. This gathering was a testament to her dedication to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance, setting a high standard for elected officials in Nigeria.

By meeting with her people from all local governments in the district, Senator Akpoti demonstrated a keen understanding of the importance of staying connected with the needs and concerns of her constituents. This town hall meeting was a laudable initiative that enabled her to engage in open and honest dialogue, listen to their challenges, and provide guidance on available opportunities.

Through this engagement, Senator Akpoti empowered her constituents to take ownership of their development, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity. She explained her plans and expectations, while also encouraging feedback and questions from the audience. This approach not only strengthens the democratic process but also ensures that her constituents are informed and involved in the decision-making process.

Senator Akpoti's efforts at the National Assembly have redefined the purpose of representation in democracy. Her commitment to regular town hall meetings and open communication has created a new standard for elected officials in Nigeria. By giving her constituents a voice and a sense of belonging, she is ensuring that democracy works for everyone, not just a select few.

This town hall meeting was a shining example of how elected officials can engage with their constituents in a meaningful way. Senator Akpoti's leadership and dedication to serving her people are an inspiration to many, and her approach to representative democracy is a model that should be emulated by others.

Senator Natasha Uduaghan’s town hall engagement with her constituents in Kogi Central was a resounding success, demonstrating her commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance. Her approach to representative democracy is a beacon of hope for Nigeria's democratic future, and her leadership is a shining example for elected officials across the country.

He was on rented apartment in GRR Benin before last year election. He now have a massive house, which the street is named after him and these are the clowns that want to rescue Nigeria. When lamidi Akpata exposed him about financial recklessness, Obidients said he was planted by Tinubu and Apc. If they have gotten presidency they would have been worse than Apc and Pdp. From the candidate and the party executive are scam. We actually dodge a bullet. I only pity those obidient who donated money to these criminals. Even the other party executives has not been enmeshed by corruption of this magnitude and yet labour party branded them as structure of criminality. The fight has been about not giving account of proceed gotten before election.
Obedients or not, politics or not, when it comes to money, humans expose themselves. Femco embezzled Endsars funds too and they were ladies, BLM(not Nigerians) campaigners used funds from donations to buy mansions in the US. Its human integrity problem not LP or Obedient issue.

Religion / Re: No Pastor Should Earn Less Than 100k/month! GOs Should Allow Them Breathe! by Fragility6: 9:13am On Jun 02
Daejumong:
General overseers need to treat local church pastors the way Jesus treated his disciples !

The average salary of a pastor in Nigeria is 30,000 to 40,000 Naira ( 30-40USD) a month! How can a pastor with a family survive on this? With the prevailing conditions in the country, GOs need to up their pay. These pastors are crying and unhappy ! Many of them work full time and don’t have any other source of income!

These pastors have to also ensure that a large percentage of income generated in church through tithes and offerings are sent to the headquarters on a weekly basis! I have had some of these devoted pastors tell me how they feel sad that the headquarters takes almost everything and they have little or nothing to run their local churches!

I find this preposterous, someone slaves away to build a local ministry and sends almost everything to the headquarters for the big boy at the top to live large with his family! GOs are not more important, special or better than any child of God.

Gal 3: 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

The General overseers in the headquarters fly private jets, drive bulletproof luxury cars and live a life of luxury while the foot soldiers( pastors in local churches) wallow in poverty!
Jesus was difficult to separate from his disciples because they had the same quality of life hence the need to have a Judas betray him when the time arose.

I am looking forward to a time when it will be difficult to separate pastors of local branches from the GOs. A time when they will all wear same quality of suits, drive same quality of cars, have access to fly the private jets and also have same quality of life! That is when I will be convinced the GOs really want to be like Jesus!

All in all, General overseers need to be more considerate and put less financial pressure on their pastor foot soldiers. They should also pay them decent salaries(minimum of 100k/mth and ensure the financial gap between them and their pastors is significantly narrowed!
Mark 10:43-45
43 But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Kindly share so this will get to the GOs!
NLC are fighting for thiers, Pastors should do same. Simple dialogue can easily resolve thiers

Agriculture / Re: Why Is Food Expensive In Nigeria? by Fragility6: 9:18pm On May 28
Onlinefarmstore:
It's no longer news that the common man in Nigeria can't eat again!

Simply put, food is luxury and no affordable to the poor.

Basic food commodities such as beans (usually classified as poor man's food is now out of the reach of the poor man).

For example, never in my life have been crossed 100k, but ladies and gentlemen beans is 112k in brono, this was Sam beans that was sold for 10k just little under 2years before.

The question bags, why is food expensive in Nigeria?

I'm the pass 6 months we have spent time travelling 22 northen states and 6 countries that supply Nigeria agricultural goods and meet with more than 200,000 farmers and this are some of our experience why foods are expensive in Nigeria.
Insecurity plus farmers are paying multiple taxes to bandits, high cost of transportation as a result of the subsidy removal, High exchange rate.

PS: The idiot talking about greed in the comments, you expect traders to clear goods at 1500+ to sell at peanuts to you or the driver that bought fuel at 880 per litre to transport foodstuffs to charge buyers of those foodstuffs biscuits because he loves Nigeria

See this animal. You paid 19200 when graduates could get jobs and under a descent economy but expecting parents to pay more now with bad economy and no jobs.
