I felt an adrenaline rush in my spine when i couldn't find the ring in finger, i began reminiscing where i might have misplaced it, could it be the bus we boarded earlier i thought aloud without getting any clue.


I was jetted back from my trance immediately i heard jack's voice.


''we would give you a call once we are done, and incase any problem ensues don't hesistate to beep us''


'' i will'' i answered him.


At that moment my phone beeped indicating that i have a new message, i tapped my messaging icon and allowed it to open


'' bro i dy class and lectures dy on, na im make i no pick your calls buh lectures go end in the next thirty minutes'' i was about texting him back but shoved the thoughts since lectures would end in thirty minutes.


A grey tainted lexus 350 pulled behind us, and the occupants wound down the glass of the car revealing two heavily built guys, i was jittery at first buh remembered i had two guys that could size up to there structure


Jack shook hands with them in our frat way , they conversed briefly before he alerted sparrow to join him.


They joined the guys in the car and zoomed off raising dust, i decided to check my smaller pockets for the ring, luckily for me i found it there i immediately wore it.


I needed to cool my head and relax a bit until kola would finish up his lectures, i crossed over to the other side of the road and head to MEGA BAR, i could remember those days when we will drink our lungs out with udeme.


I settled on one of the chairs there and ordered for my brand ''BUDWEISER'', i brought out my phone from my pocket and logged in my facebook account, just then my phone rang, kola was calling.


''hello, bro how fa ?'' i spoke into the phone

'' i dy go abuja campus make i go check on am buh i go call am now'' i ended the call and sipped my alcohol jejely.


My fingers began hurting me, i checked my finger, the ring was burning me just then i remembered what capon said '' always be on your widas''

I decided to let them know my initial plan just incase, they were reluctant about it buh finally agreed and gave me a go ahead when the time comes

I noticed the bike man rode at average of 50km/h, i was literary dying out of suffocation and felt i might die if don't protest.

He didn't bulge a bit, are this guys human? I asked no one in particular, its better to die in the hands of the dogzz than squeezed to death.



I made silent prayers hoping for the bike man to increase his pace, buh unfortunately he decreased it to 40km/h , werey (mad man) i said inwardly


In no sooner or later we arrived udara junction, we alighted from the bike and jack tipped the young guy his fee and zoomed off almost immediately in search of another customer


I was about dialing kola's number to inform him where i was, just then jack phone began ringing, he brought his old nokia 3310 and answered the call almost immediately.


He moved aside and began conversing with whosoever he was speaking to on the phone, i scrolled to my contacts and dialed kola's number, i dialed severally without receiving response from the other end.



Jack came handing his phone to me, i checked caller and saw rugged D1 boldly displayed on the gadget.


'' D1 most rugged your regard'' i said immediately


'' bullet how fa na?, shey una dun reach the place abi?'' the capon said to me from the other end


''yes we dun reach i dy try call am buh e be like say im no dey close to his phone''i replied him

jack and sparrow were regarded as capon's hit men, they are called R.M.O.B (rugged men on board), they are the major hit men of the deck with ranges of rank they have attained.


Jack a formal student of ignatius ajuru university was rusticated from the school in his 200l due to his indulgence in criminal activities in the school


In 2016 he was detained in rumukpani police division for being part of the bank robbery that ensued earlier, he has this smallish stature and bloodshot eyes that could chase away lagos agbero in a minute.


The rumukpani division harbours 138 inmates, and was surrounded with high fence


Jack was kept in cell c with 15 inmates, he was literary silent all through his stay until he met a guy that has almost thesame character with him.


He got to know him more as days surpasses, although the guy didn't reveal why he was been apprehended buh jack knew it could be crime related.


The guy talked almost in parable whenever they conversed , he always talks of the south-south avengers that would come to his aid, this things were not making sense to jack until when the prison was under pandemonium.


Fifty three officers were vehemently murdered in cold bloods and others flee for the safety of their lives, the avengers freed the inmates and took the guy and jack along with them


The guy was later identified as sparrow the hunter.........

I got acquainted with the two duo's, we board thesame bus to choba, i love sitting at the front row so i settled at the front with a pretty lady beside me


Through out the journey i had the ring on me unrelently, i noticed jack and sparrow had thesame ring buh it has different colour on it


In less than 60 minutes we reached choba, we got down from the bus and board a bike to aluu

At first my initial plan was to settle with kola and my machinery and head back to mgbuoshimini buh on a second thought i decided to reach my abode and get some of my stuffs and atleast get to see my neighbours


If only i knew what awaits for me...........

I stood up from my bed and head towards the bathroom to wash off with the mind set of meeting the D1 (capon).


In some few minutes i was done in the bathroom, i took some of the clothes from the wardrope and wore it almost immediately and dashed out from the room.


In no sooner or later i reached the magnificent building of the capon, i passed through the corridor,the building harbours nothing more or less 8 rooms and the capon's room was literary the last oneI knocked twice before someone slightly opens the door without revealing his whole body, i could visibly recognise his face, he is one of the guys that was assigned to my initiation


He allowed me in without hesitation, the room was quite spacious with a king sized bed that is situated at the far corner of the room, it seems they were really in some kind of discussion.


I shook hands with some of the guys in our frat way and showed regard to the capon by lifting my left hand to my chest (if u dun gerit forgerit)


I sat on a chair close to thesame guy that let me in.

Kola has been like a brother to me alongside james so i don't see any reasons why he will want to sell me out

He head into his bathroom and came out almost immediately with a veiled red cloth


I was curious and perplexed at thesame time buh i kept my cool and waited for him to settle down


He unveiled the red cloth and handed a ring to me, i reluctantly strecthed out my right hand and took the ring

There was silence almost for thirty seconds at the the other end, it seems he was contemplating on something, he finally spoke almost after thirty five seconds of the silence


''u go need machinery wey go help u run the exam clean,and after u go tip some rubs ( money).


I tried reasoning the idea it seems good buh what if he gets caught,that was the question that came across my head so i had to voice it out to avoid the word 'had i know'


''what if the guy gets caught at the process'' i asked him


''It means you would be present to sort things out like the guy would need ur matric number and school i d'' he replied me
