Cherrioes: But the first advice he gave (which you said was wrong) was actually right. The person is yet to to start his studies, so not even on a graduate visa. So yes the changes happening this July will apply to him.
What you have copied and pasted applies to people currently in the country. When the person in question hasn't even entered the UK. How is this too difficult for you guys to understand…. if you enter UK now with your student visa, won’t you be “currently in the UK” under your student visa? The law isn’t only for graduate visa, it’s for every legal visa. what that statement from gov.uk is saying in summary is that, Henceforth, only those in the UK (whether you are in now or would come in later before July 2028) can apply for care visa. You can not apply for care visa from abroad!!! |

Fred2020: Wales may not offer you the best work opportunities, although it may be more affordable to live and work there.
Living cost is low but so are wages. So, getting a job that pays the minimum going rate for a skilled worker visa is trickier to get there, and when you find such jobs, you will find many locals competing for it, because such wage would look competitive for them.
Also, with the proposed changes to immigration, the "care visa route" would no longer by available to those on graduate visas. Please don’t pass the wrong information…you can still get a care worker role with your graduate visa…also “care worker visa” would still be open for skilled worker visa just that it will be time-bound. |

bukagb91: Could you please clarify: is this due to the low fees or job opportunities? The low fees matter the most, you must not work in York. There are also cities around York were you can work, most of them are just 20-30mins train ride. In UK you shouldn’t limit your job search to a particular location. |

bukagb91: I'm a UI/UX designer with 3.5 years of experience. I am planning to pursue my master's and have been accepted into York St.John University for an MSc. in Product Design (tuition £11,800), Ulster University Belfast for an MSc. in User Experience and Service Design (tuition £13,610), and Bournemouth University for an MSc. in Marketing and User Experience (£14,500).
I haven't paid my tuition deposit yet and am confused about which one to choose in terms of livable environment and job prospects for international students. Can any alumni share their experience with any of these schools? It would be of great help. Choose York |

GeeKlasic: Good morning my ogas
My own question is that …. Can I still use the same statement I use for CAS for visa application also or it has to be another 28 days?
I think you can, the most important thing is that the bank statement shouldn’t be more than 31days old at the point of submission. |

samintegrity: If not that everything is just wrong in this country, how on earth does Aboki get to have dollar and banks that are supposed to be the institution responsible for such don't have the dollar.
Stupid people, Banks get dollar and prefer to sell to aboki for gains rather than the normal customers that need them for transactions..
Every system in Nigeria is just not working, should we even exchange pounds for #2000 plus to a pound.
I just don't understand this country The system is just wack. Nigeria system is a business cooperation designed to see its citizens as customers. |

YulPapparrazi: Please o good people before I pay now and start hearing story, any one at Bristol please assist. I just received my offer and it’s 5500 initial, does this means I will pay up 3000 prior registration or it will be the 5500 initial deposit plus 8500? No, I think it would be for you to pay 3000 at enrollment i.e 5500+3000= 8500. However, do well to confirm from the school directly. |

Hoelujohn: Please mention it ooo. I mentioned it in my own case and I was given especially if the Bsc doesn't relate to what you are currently doing and the diploma is related to what you are doing. Both the Bsc and diploma are related, they are also related to my current work. The only strong point is that the diploma is more specialized than the BSc which was on a general field. |

bullstriker: In your case, the red flag is your level of education and not your age. It is usually frowned upon when someone is going for a lower education level as it looks more like a program taken just for the sake of migration to Canada. However, you can address it in your SoP; the key is to give a strong enough opinion on why the program is relevant to your career growth. For example, how is the program related to your present occupation? Is the program designed to improve or update you on new market trends, new tech, and industry analysis? Are you getting a promotion that requires knowledge and skills in the proposed program? Like a puzzle, identify the gap and show the VO how the intended program fits perfectly. Thanks for the response. What if we don’t mention anything about the Bsc degree while putting up the visa application. |
