Yes he signed a contract, and he has about 1 or 2 years to stay with them before leaving.

But they were not fulfilling their own part of the contract. And it was really affecting him because he was not able to take care of his family.

Regardless of the contract, since the organization wasn't keeping to terms then he should just tender all the evidence in court like statement of account and the rest, to convince the court to see reasons why he left .. I think if he has a good lawyer, the verdict should be in his favor.

Nairamotive:
Lemme share my testimony

After taking the risk of traveling night journey to write the NIS CBAT for ASI cadre, I wasn't shortlisted for the screening.

Before then, I have also taken another risk to attend an interview with a British coy in another state.
Just 3 days after the interview, I was sent an offer that was subjected to obtaining a clear post security clearance before resumption.

I went to the state Criminal Investigation department to obtain a Police Character Certificate and then send it to the coy.

The security clearance was done and they sent my appointment letter showing all benefits.

Guess what... The salary package is more than × 2 of what NIS would pay for the cadre I applied for.

Upon relocating, accommodation was provided with all necessary things in it.

The recruitment was concluded within a month with no additional delay. Not like Nigeria that's taking almost two years to recruit.

I'm so so happy.

It can only be God because I knew no body there.

I just saw the advert online on hotnigerianjobs and applied.
That's all.

Please I will advice that you don't leave job sites alone just to focus on NIS

Check it daily and apply for what matches your interest daily.

Thanks

Congratulations

LET ME HELP DISPELL SOME RUMORS AND UNCERTAINTIES HERE.
For those that went for screening and asking what's next.
1. After a month or so successful one's will will receive either a text or email invitation them for documentation and final verification of documents (Your documents will be verified again during documentation).
It's usually in your zone like the verification exercise.
2. After successful documentation you will proceed to open a pension account (Usually agents of one or more Pension Administrators will be available there) and then you will enroll and capture for IPPIS.
3. When you're through with all that you will be given an introduction letter which you will take to your state of origin immigration service command.
4. After a week or so your state command will call you for a 4 - 6 Weeks induction exercise.
5. If you have no problem with your IPPIS enrollment you will receive your FULL SALARY after one month no allowances.
6. The service will start arrangement for training of the new intakes which is done based on cadres.
Note: It may take up to a year (in extreme circumstances) before you go for training.
7. When you're in training school the service will stop paying you salary. You will only be given an allowance of #15,000 monthly.
Note: Your salary will be accruing for the months you're undergoing training and will likely be paid after 2 or 3 month of commissioning.

I believe these are the most urgent questions on your minds

Please why no allowances after your ippis enrollment?
Also must one do the induction at his/her state of origin command..can it be done elsewhere?

Lol I mentioned maths? Never mentioned maths oga, ghostofAPA did. Maybe you should be sure of something before typing. I'm not forcing anyone to believe me, if you think you've gotten the job just because you have attended screening, then good luck to you. But whether you like it or not, a selection tin is still going to happen after the screening.

Lol.. OK sorry I thought it was you kos two of you are creating the same notion.

Oya GhostOfAPA come clear yourself o
You must solve the maths for us

No idea brother, na only them sabi that one.
I want to back what I've said. When it comes to the military, when applying to the NDA, you know entrance exams will first of all be take, after which as of the last time I knew, 50 people were selected from each state to attend the armed forces selection board (AFSB) which is also screening. After credential screening, medicals, physical screening and all that, the number drops, and some go home. Mostly due to medicals sef, though the medicals done in the paramilitary isnt that serious.
At the end, those remaining will now face the board. Some states will still have over 20 candidates left, some other states can still have more, some less. After facing the board, you then go home and then the waiting game begins. I think with the ongoing Immigration screening right now, there will be a time of waiting too after the screening, while the board selects who they'll take into the service.
So please, no one should go and sit down after his screening and relax, thinking he or she has already gotten the job. Go and pray, those of you who have connections, go and disturb them. It is not yet over! I repeat, it is not yet over. No one has gotten the job yet just because they have attended screening. Attending the screening only means you're a step closer to getting the job, it isnt over yet. Those who have ears, let them hear.

You mentioned something about maths or calculation in your previous post... Is this the maths you are talking about?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigeria Immigration Service 2020 Recruitment by frank2zee: 9:23pm On Jun 03, 2021
GhostOfAPA:
yes.they told us when we went for screening at Minna.and I'm sure if you do your math well it will add up to d number dy want...so the best 28 people will make it to the next stage.....you can still ask when you go for your own screening too

Oga do the calculation for us, since you are so keen on what you are saying.

46 or 56k, aside other benefits though.
Bsc is 114k aside aside other benefit.

How easy or rather how long will it take one to convert from OND to BSc?

It's 56k basic salary, by the time you add your benefits and allowances it should be close to 70k

NYSC / Re: NYSC Program May Be Scrapped As Discontinuation Bill Gets 2nd Reading by frank2zee: 9:05pm On May 24, 2021
How can fellow youths support such proposal, it is disheartening to see some of the comments above.

NYSC shouldn't be scrapped for so many reasons. Some of them are :

1. Scrapping the establishment means you are sending alot of people home(nysc staffs and co.) there by increasing the unemployment rate in the country.

2. Most youths kick start their career/life journey from nysc, I know alot of youths who are full time employees in their various place of work, courtesy of the nysc program.
