One foolish thing Nigerians do is support somebody based on popularity or because they feel the person is likely to win so they just want to be on the winning team.

What on earth is there to like about that rude, mannerless and unhygienic Tacha? I know 90% of her supporters are only routing for her because they feel she will win and they want to be on winning team

I dunno why many people are so foolish. Its an anonymous forum and nobody knows them and they are still supporting foolishness just to be on winning team.

The only person enjoying bandwagon is Mercy. Ask Mercy fans why they are supporting Mercy and most of them will tell you that it's because they don't want Tacha to win. Their hatred for Tacha is the reason why they want to support Mercy who is the main person that can stop Tacha from winning. Have u asked yourself why Mercy fans can never hype Mercy without comparing her with Tacha?

Tacha's fan are very loyal. Loyalty means looking beyond the flaws of your favourite and seeing the good in her while praying for her improvement. If we wanted easy favorites to stan, we would be supporting Mike. The guy doesn't have wahala, forget that he is trolled sometimes on Nairaland.

Do u think it's easy to stan someone like Tacha. It takes a great deal of courage and strength to look beyond her flaws. We are not like Frodd fans who abandoned their favourite because he is in love with a girl.

Finally, most of us started supporting Tacha because the hate she was receiving wasn't commensurate with her attitude in the house.

Tacha was trending in 6 countries after her apology to Biggie yesterday. Many people said they will start supporting her because of that. Are those new fans supporting her because of bandwagon?

Update on what transpired between Cindy and Tacha

Housemates were divided into pairs and given a task. They were given seats to be used by each pair.

Tacha saw an empty seat, asked around if anybody had chosen the seat, the housemates said No including Mike (who is Cindy's partner for the task). So she sat down on the seat. Next, Cindy started shouting at Tacha and claiming that she booked the seat first. She started telling Tacha how she is not afraid of her and how she can fight her. In all these, Tacha ignored her and only uttered few words. Tacha was visibly trying to control her emotions so as not to get another strike. If not for strike, I'm sure it would have been a complete 'gbas gbos'

Yet, again, your brain is called to question. Who told you i started supporting Mercy because of Tacha? tacha was not even an option for me. I knew her years before Big Brother and i chose not to support for whatever reason. My first choice was KImoprah because she's a personal friend. Mercy became my first choice after Kim left.

The way you guys throw around the words smart & intelligent is clearly an indication that you don't even know what you are talking about.

No reasonable scentist who is worth his salt can present a canonical definition of intelligence. There are lots of different kinds of intelligence, with varying definitions and it's naive to refer to someone as unintelligent because she didn't satisfy your definition of a particular kind of intelligence.

You say Tacha isn't intelligent because she isn't able to solve puzzles quickly or answer questions on current affairs.
But you've seen her create beautiful artifacts and gorgeous dresses. Doesn't it require a certain form of intelligence to do this? The doll she made two nights ago couldn't have been made by just anyone. A certain kind of intelligence with a keen understanding of patterns, form and symmetry was required. Tacha has the intelligence of an artiste, that's why she thrives in tasks involving sewing and design. It's like saying a skilled carpenter who makes beautiful furniture isn't intelligent because he doesn't know anything about world geography.

When did not being able to throw a rope hoop around a wooden horse become a marker for intelligence? Tacha doesn't perform well in Arena games simply because they are too physical and she doesn't thrive in such environments.

I have watched Keeping up with the Kardashians a couple of times and I can assure you that Kim Kardashian would perform as bad or even much worse than Tacha in all these tasks that you guys are using to judge her as unintelligent. But would performing poorly in these tasks make Kim unintelligent? Certainly what she's achieved business wise and financially and the relationships she's built and the name she's created for herself requires a certain kind of intelligence. If it doesn't then everyone with a sex tape would be as rich as Kim. The point is that not only academicians are intelligent. Artistes, musicians, enterpreneurs of all sorts and lots people with careers in creative domains possess different kinds of intelligence.

That was the same way they called Nina the dumbest housemate. Today, she has proven them wrong. Her business is doing far better than that of the so called intelligent housemates.

Someone not knowing currents affairs or not doing well in physical task does not necessarily make the person dumb. The person is simply weak in those areas. We all have our strengths and weaknesses.

Just like Nina used her areas of strength to excel after the show, Tacha will also excel. I see that zeal in her succeed.
