Recently Google launched its new messaging app Allo at its I/O conference. The app comes with some smart features which was never seen before in any app, while combining altered unique features of many trend setting mobile apps. Let’s see some top features of Allo that differ it from already top performing players in the field. The @google Assistant Google’s virtual assistant can help you get the content of various types from the internet like videos from YouTube, and flight information directly from Google search engine. For example, you can ask @google what are the best flight deals for us to go New York today from London? Immediately, you can get the listings that include the time taken for journey and fare. The same can apply for nearby restaurants, hotels and other businesses. You can also ask @google “can you play us Bon Iver’s latest YouTube video?” immediately you will be able to see the video. Very smart, right? Automatic responses The app suggests auto responses as a smart app feature which saves time that users need to think. As Google said, the software that powers auto responses becomes smarter with the conversations. If you frequently use ‘haha’ or ‘lol’, the software monitors it, help you accordingly with those kind of words during the conversations. Image recognition: Allo leverages Google’s image recognition software for smart reply. It means the app can recognize the received image and help to express the feeling on the image. For example, if you receive the image of a cute cat, the app can suggest you replies like ‘adorable’, ‘so cute’. Whisper or shout a message: This is very interesting. In other apps, the font size you use in the app will be same throughout the conversation, but Allo rocks here. If you want to whisper the things, you can send it in small font, or if you want to tell loudly, you can send it in large font. This you can do by holding and pressing send button, to increase or decrease the size of the text. This shows how Google understands the human nature. Incognito Chat: All we know Incognito Window in Google Chrome, now it’s time for Incognito chat. It is a self-destructing message feature, and any chat in incognito mode will not be stored permanently in server. Users can set timer for the message and once the time reached, the message destructs itself and will be nowhere available for anybody, even for Allo. It is the not the first of its kind, before many mobile app development companies developed this kind of apps following Snapchat and Telegram. But this facility in incognito window is first of its kind. Free SMS: In WhatsApp and other similar messaging apps, if you want to send messages to people, you have to make sure they have WhatsApp installed. But with the Allo, you no need to think about. You can send Allo messages to users even though they don’t have the app installed. How this works? When you’re in the contact list in Allo, you can view all your phone contacts like in WhatsApp, but what is special is you can send them message, while sending it will prompt your message will be sent via text message. Once sending, the receiver will receive an SMS message from a 5-digit number, as it is common with text message alerts from automated systems. This message will notify him that you (by name and phone number) are trying to chat with him via Allo. There will also be a link to the app’s download page in the Google Play Store. This is Google’s a clever wat to drive people toward the app. We can say there is no such app currently including WhatsApp have this kind of matured and smart features. Conclusion: Google Allo has just started its journey with an agenda of being smart. Other platforms are heading towards smarter messaging, particularly Apple introducing third party apps for iMessage and Facebook unveiling bots for Messenger. But Google has taken a step forward with full focus on multiple smart features. Let’s see how long the journey will be and how successful it will be. The Pre-mobilisation briefing of prospective corps members at their various institutions of higher learning is an integral part of the NYSC Mobilisation process. It is conceived primarily to give final year students of higher institutions, who are already looking forward to participating in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, the opportunity of interfacing with the operators of the Scheme. The exercise titled “HIGHLIGHTS OF PREMOBILISATION BRIEF TO PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS AT CORPS PRODUCING INSTITUTIONS” took place yesterday being 27th of September, 2016, in all the 252 accredited higher institutions in Nigeria at exactly 10:00AM. During the Pre-mobilisation brief exercise, a lot of secrets were revealed, ranging from “The Purpose of the Exercise” to “Brief Historical Background of the Scheme” to “Objectives” to “Achievements” to “Eligibility” to “Exemption from Service” to “Mobilization and Deployment” to “Online Registration” to “NYSC Posting Policy” and to mention but a few. The NYSC Coordinator in charge/posted to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Mr. Chinedu Ndirika was so friendly that he took out all his time to entertain over 88 questions that was asked by the prospective corps members (PCMs). He further advised that the PCMs should take and accept the NYSC Motto “Service and Humility” with all their hearts and join hands to develop and make the Nation a better place. He later at the closing stage of the exercise made an announcement that every PCM should meet with one the correspondences of FraNKAPPTech to collect the official NYSC Highlights of Pre-mobilisation Brief (Write-up/Tutorial). Now, am here to share this write-up with you. I have took out my time to compile and make the soft-copy of the write-up and later converted it into a Portable Document Format. Download and Enjoy! Everybody struggle with this very issue especially when you are just starting. When I started blogging and I had to write high quality content for my readers, it took me 2 to 3 days to get out one good article. So totally I know how it feels even to this day I am still looking for more ways to create high quality content faster. The truth is that creating high quality content does take some time but the good news is I have got 6 great strategies to create high quality content faster, just for you. 1. Flip your script If you want to change anything in your life, firstly you have to take a look at your internal script. Meaning, what are you saying to yourself? What is the story you are telling yourself about the things you want to change? For example, if you are telling yourself am a really slow writer and it will take me forever to write my newsletter. Guess what? You will be a really slow writer and it will take you forever to write for your newsletters. So my advice is to have positive thought that you will become a fast writer to create high quality content faster 2. Begin with the end in mind Thinking about what your end result is going to be is exactly what you want your readers to walk away with or what action if any do you want them to take. So you have to reverse your content to get them there. E.g. Before I started writing this content, I asked myself what do I want you my readers to walk away with after reading this article and my answer to myself is High Actionable list of things that will help you create high quality content faster and an article you have to share with your friends. 3. Keep a top of list I know you waste lot of time to figure out what you should write about in the first place but I have a solution. Keep a running top of list of all your ideas. E.g. if you get inspired by articles, teachings, magazines, movies or questions people ask you all the time write those ideas down making use of note book or mobile to help you with your list anywhere you find yourself. Another handy tool is Evernote 4. Make it short and sweet Remember, high quality content does not mean long article because I know that’s what most of us think about high quality content. Sometimes the best way to serve your audience is to make it short and sweet. 5. Plan it out Create an editorial calendar for your content which is all about planning for your next article in the next 2 or 3 months. This takes the decision now about what you want to write about each week. An editorial calendar plans everything out. You just have to go to your plan and you are done and also when writing down your content you don’t have to wonder about adding this or that. Just go to your editorial calendar and you are done. 6. Don’t write and edit at the same time Get everything out and don’t edit as you go because it will slow you down. If you are writing and you think of a better way to replace something don’t delete what you just wrote, just stop and write the sentence a new way and keep going. This brings you up to make it better the first time which allows you to get everything out. Editing is usually much faster process when you have lot content on the page. http://frankapptech.com/create-high-quality-content-faster/

I am the most excited person on earth for this young millionaire and entrepreneur. Everyday by day Chris Kwekowe is landing amazing success. From launching Slatecube to Winning Anzisha Prize ($25,000) to Meeting with Bill Gates and now you have become an Intel Ambassador. Congrats bro We were together from day 1 at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. You were my course mate. You were my coding mate. You were my mentor and still remains. I could remember when we were writing codes that can calculate average of 5 parameters with the obsolete VB 6.0. I could remember when you taught me how to use the CSS Media Queries to create responsive pages. I could also remember when I taught you how to develop a scientific calculator. I could remember all those days. My brother, I am very happy for you. I wish you you more success bro. I am been inspired, motivated and encouraged whenever I read the news of your new success. Please don't stop, continue the success because it drives me better. It's true that we were together before you broke the globe, but God does His own thing in His best ways. I wanna tell you, bro, I have not been a disappointment at all since we graduated. I have been doing my best to keep improving my skills. I have been doing my best to also inspire and motivate others in the little way I can. Just like you said, "Same can happen for anyone". I want to promise you that sooner and soonest, I will be there at the top with you and Bill Gates together. As I am praying, I earnestly solicit your prayers and I pray that the good seed we all sow together never die. Amen! Meet you at the top! Irevac3:You might be lucky with the FIRS branch near you. You just need to take action fast to avoid been too late. I knew what I went through with them. I think they are developing new policies recently. Just visit the branch near you with a letter written with your company's letter headed paper. They will definitely generate your TIN for you. Don't know if they will charge you though. But all I know is that they have started charging for late generation of TIN and registration of VAT. Success! lalasticlala |
It's no longer news that every viable business must be registered at the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), whether it's an ordinary business name or a limited liability company, but this registration at CAC is not just all you need to do as far as Nigeria is concerned at the moment. Want to know why? Read the story of my experience with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) three weeks ago. It was on the 27th day of July, 2016 when I had to visit Guaranty Trust Bank Plc to open another current corporate account for my business, FraNKAPPWeb Technologies. On getting to GTBank, I had every required document about my business including the CAC Certificate, International Passport, Utility Bill, Bank Current Account Holders References and many others except my business Tax Identification Number (TIN). The bank required that I should go and get my TIN from FIRS at any close branch. At first, I was not happy with the situation regarding the stress and fare and probably charges the journey will incur. But I quickly remembered some advert I used to see both on television and other media begging registered business owners to go to FIRS and collect their Tax Identification Number (TIN) and also register for Value Added Tax (VAT) for free. On remembering this my heart calmed and I zoomed off immediately to FIRS, Awka, Anambra State branch, just opposite Govt. House. When I got to FIRS, Awka, I unhesitatingly passed all the bureaucracies in the Office including signing in and signing out, all done once with the high hope of getting my TIN and leave immediately. I finally entered inside the office where they are issuing the TIN. On sitting down, oh my world, drama started. The employee there started to list all the requirements I need to get my TIN. In my mind, all these procedures to get just an ordinary TIN? I said no problem I will do them all and I must Get my TIN today. One of the conditions was for me to write a letter to the Director of FIRS with my company's letter headed paper. That was too simple for me because I always have my company's letter headed paper with me. I had to rush down to one of the computer business centers around there and print the letter. I even left my balance of N60 for the computer operator there because I was in a hurry to finish up. Now, I rushed back to FIRS with a calm mind of getting the job done, but I never knew that I just concluded Episode 1 of 50 Episodes. My dear people of Nigeria, season movie began from here. At this juncture, the employee started telling me the story of Mike Ejeaya, that because of my late registration for TIN and VAT since I registered my business that I have to pay an accrued sum of NGN 40,800 before my TIN will be generated. God of Women! I openly exclaimed. I did not say anything until after 5 mins when I asked her...What? She wasted no seconds to say, "You heard me right". With a loud voice and with the feeling that customers are always right, I asked her while such a charge when I used to see on adverts that TIN is for free? She now said that the new policy is coming from their new director. Stating that every business owner is ought to know that TIN and VAT registration is compulsorily priority. That I was supposed to know that after business registration at CAC, I need to go to FIRS for TIN and VAT registration. To be sincere, I did not knew this and nobody not even from the CAC office told me about this. I did plead all I can with them that day but all was to no avail and their working time elapsed. Coming out of the office, I saw two other persons with the same problem; the first person was a case of NGN 148,000 and the other was NGN 90,000. The first person said that instead of paying such amount, he will leave the company to die off and go for another one. After hearing all these cases, I left home peacefully waiting for the next day to come. And the next day came indeed. This time, I went to FIRS Onitsha to know whether the case will be different there. On getting there, my dear people of Nigeria, it was worse over there. Their calculation for my debt at Onitsha was like the one they used the quadratic almighty formula to solve. You know that feeling when you are dealing with -b +/- (Sqr ((b^2) - (4ac)))/2a. I zoomed off immediately back to Awka where I went to plead and plead. I started displaying some innocent face. At this time, I got no liver to raise my voice again. That was when I started remembering some business laws that include law of diminishing return. My dear people of Nigeria, my voice went diminished. I even went as far as helping them to turn on their electricity generator. Finally and finally, I succeeded. I later got my Tax Identification Number (TIN). Bottom Line If you are a business or company owner registered at Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), it's a good thing to know that you are required to go to Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and generate your TIN and also register for Value Added Tax (VAT) before it's too late. You might be saying that this is all free but you can also agree with me that new policies can emerge anytime in Nigeria without prior notice. Just think of what the Dollar - Naira exchange rate has been showing our economy as a surprise talk more of mere policies. I advise you now to go to FIRS with a letter requesting for your company's TIN. This letter should be imprinted on your company's letter headed paper and also directing the letter to the director. If you find this guide helpful, do well to share it for the benefit of others. http://frankapptech.com/business-owners-go-firs-office/

“The word ABILITY most times comes last. When you have the INTEREST and DETERMINATION, you will be ABLE to achieve your desires” - FraNK UMEADI You want to know why? Read my story. It was around July, 2014, when I had to traveled to Lagos for a three months IT after successfully completing a three months Teaching Practice Program. After three days, I started looking for a slot in a well-established ICT firm. I made 20 copies of my application letter. Believe me, on the first day, I trekked from Bode Thomas, Surulere to Lawanson all because I was looking for a better place where I will not just come and stay but to come and impact while being paid well. After the first day, I almost finished sharing the applications. Though most of the ICT firms were telling me that they already have enough IT students but some gave me hope that they will call me soon. I took the hope gladly. On the second day, I used bicycle in order to reduce stress of trekking and also save cost of transportation. I rode a bicycle to many other ICT firms and I was able to submit more applications. After the first two days, I was gladly waiting in anticipation for many calls but the opposite was the case. None of the so called ICT firm called me. Oh, I felt like going back to Awka, Anambra state overnight. But then my mind said relax, go on and pray, then sleep. Oh, should I call my mother again! Yes, I will. She called me on phone that same day and said, baby just pray and it will be fine. Without much ado, I went ahead to launch a superb prayer session. After my prayers, I slept off and there came a dream or rather trance, In fact, I don’t really know what happened. The dream taught me so many things. The dream said I have to spend to get what I want. Continue reading, you will understand why. The dream said to me that, don’t you know that when you trek or ride a bicycle to the place of work, you will be weak and unkempt? In my mind oh yes! It said again, don’t you know when you dress casually, you will be less important? Oh my world, yes! It said wake up and act. After this dream, I only said thank you Jesus. Immediately, I used the little money I had on me to enter market and get a very sharp packet shirt in preparation for the next day. On the following day, this time no more polo, no more trekking, no more riding of bicycle, ratter I launched my sharp packet shirt, well ironed and properly tucked in a dazzling trouser. I flaunt a bike straight to the first ICT firm that I submitted my application. On getting there, the receptionist that met me earlier could not recognise me again. Unlike the first day, what she was saying is Good morning sir! Sir please have a seat. You are welcome sir. Oh, my heart was already rejoicing because my new method is working out. This time, I did not want to tell her why I was there. I acted as a big client that has a contract to offer. Immediately I sat down, I requested that I may see the CEO. Unhesitatingly, she called him on phone telling him that Mr FraNK UMEADI wants to see him. In my mind, I said, this is what I want. Then the CEO said that I should come inside his office. Immediately I Stood up, the receptionist rushed and opened the door for me as I walked in with 100% glamour, exuding my face and body. I greeted and shook hands with him to boost my confidence the more. You may have a seat he said. The next thing was; what’s your name and how may I help you sir? He asked me. On receiving this question, I remembered what my mother told me. May God continue to bless this woman. She said if I go to any place and they ask me what I want, I should hit the nail on the head and say what I want, that if I have the chance I will be given the opportunity, but if I have the chance and I was playing round the bush, the person will take me as a dubious person on arrival, then my chances will be gone. After remembering this, I went ahead to tell the man that “my name is FraNK UMEADI. I am a student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. I was supposed to do a three month IT and I have come across your establishment, after a thorough review, I concluded that your establishment will be the perfect place for me to continue gaining more experience as I add more value to your establishment”. Wow! I’m amazed, the man yelled. What are your skills? He asked. I started to list them all ranging from writing with PHP, Java etc. The next question was, have you ever developed a desktop App for sending Bulk SMS? This was the most challenging question but I answered with caution. I said no sir, but I have the skills to develop such Apps especially when I have a friend called Google. As fast as it was, the man said stop, resume work tomorrow and if you do well I will pay you N40K monthly. I did not feel too excited so as not to give him the impression that I needed the money more. Though in my heart, life just started meeen. I knew fully well that I have not developed that kind of App before and with the knowledge I had then I will not be able to do it. But then like I always say the word ABILITY most times comes last, the most important thing is INTEREST and DETERMINATION. Once you are interested and you are determined, you will not know where the ability will fly in from. With my interest and determination and also most importantly with the help of Google search engine, as well as that of Mr. Raji Philips of Zeroes and Ones technologies, I was able to develop the App within a month and their (Dalcoms Technologies, where I did my IT) clients started using it from day one after launching. This is how I enjoyed my three months in the firm with my pay very much intact. It was on the day that I was given a goodbye wish from the company that the receptionist came telling me that she was very sorry. I should forgive her that she intentionally did not want to forward my earlier application to the CEO that she felt that there was no more opportunity in the firm that the only one that could come out will be at the expense of one of the staff. She was sorry. After listening to her I said “My God is alive (in Igbo, chim mu anya)”. MY ADVICE TO JOB SEEKERS “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results” -Benjamin Franklin Here is my personal advice to job seekers: 1. Create your opportunity: Don’t just sit around waiting for your “dream job” to open. Study the industry or field that you are looking to move into, and determine a company or two that you would like to work for, Hockett says. “Then figure out their challenges through relationships or public information. With this, you can share directly or publicly through a blog, for instance. The concept here is to get noticed through offering a solution to help them with no expectation of anything in return”. 2. Apply! Apply!! Apply!!!: Go out there to the offline world. Submit your CV as well as application letter to many firms related to your interest. If you submitted about 30 copies for instance, there is no way 10 will not call you for interview unlike when you sit at home hoping for magic. 3. Be Honest: When you get to the interview or workplace, be very honest on arrival. Tell the hiring manager what you want, if you have the opportunity, you will land the job but if you had the opportunity and you were being dubious in the eyes of the hiring manager, damn it, your case is closed. 4. When you visit any firm, try as much as possible to meet with the MD. If your coming only ends at the receptionist desk, your case is closed. 5. When you seek for job and no one secured yet, don’t depend on those jobs. Look out on the streets. Like I always say, it is better to be in the streets making money than to be online making just name; come to the street if the web is not favouring you. Money is in the street. Look for something to be doing in the street that every night you count your money and keep. Think it, grab it! Forget about what the world will say. Let them talk and let your bank account smile always. Source: http://frankapptech.com/inspiring-life-story-of-frank-umeadi-as-he-celebrates-his-birthday/ |

It was around July, 2014, when I had to traveled to Lagos for a three months IT after successfully completing a three months Teaching Practice Program. Welber:Of course I can. I have already started the planning. A lot of people also kindly requested me to write on the solutions I will drop it as soon as possible Not to forget, thanks for the compliment @ Welber |
strangest:You have a good point here. "Treat your workers well or they will use your internet to apply for another job" But at least not abuse the internet access given to them |
Even though internet is incredibly beneficial tool in a workplace, it is the most exploited one as well. According to a study conducted in 2002, 92% of the time employees use the office internet to conduct online stock trading while 46% of the time, it was used for online holiday shopping. Additionally, according to a more recent survey, UK companies are losing £ 2.5 Million each year due to non work-related web surfing. Similar cases all over the world are resulting, not only in monetary loss alone, but also a rapid decline in employee productivity that is responsible losses in the form of time or resources. As already discussed, internet abuse is a global problem, a problem that is gathering more strength with time. Various forms of internet abuse are; 1. Downloading Typically, business use high speed internet to make sure that all their online interactions are done in a timely manner and at high speed. While it is company’s way to stay at the top, it is also an ideal way to abuse company resources. As already mentioned, employees abuse the free reign they have to the high speed internet access for their own purposes. Whether they need it to upload videos or download music, or use Facebook, they do it all during their work hours, putting a serious dent in the productivity at work and their credibility as a person. 2. Watching Videos Watching funny videos on sites like Vimeo, YouTube, etc is a favourite office pastime and this trend doesn’t end here. Most office employees tend to forward the links to such videos to their co-workers as well, distracting them and decreasing the overall productivity, not only putting in a dent in the profit but also making the business suffer heavy losses in terms of non work-related web surfing and time. 3. Inappropriate sites Office internet is like the hub of inappropriate web sites. Reports have suggested that most married couples look up sites like PornHub, and AshleyMadison.com for voyeuristic pleasures as well as to bring back some excitement into their lives. Now, using such outlets to keep boredom at bay is an employee’s personal matter but using the internet at workplace to achieve such an end is no way to go about it. Workplace internet is there for employee to work hard to make a living and not to use to fulfill a void in their lives. 4. Running a Side Business Recently, a woman in California was caught running an e-commerce website during office hours, using not only the company bandwidth and equipment to run her own business but also the company delivery services to meet her own need. Needless to say that she is no longer working for that company. The sad thing is, it is not a solitary case. Thousands of employees try to pull wool over their employers’ eyes every single day by using office internet for their own interests. It can be something as simple as downloading a song over iTunes to something as complex as using eBay using work internet to buy and sell stuff. Most companies do keep an eye on such interactions but when the company itself operates an e-commerce website, such infractions become pretty hard to catch. 5. Facebooking Ever since social media has taken on the world, Facebook has been ruling the workplace. One of the most looked up and used websites during office hours anywhere in the world, Facebook is a nefarious addiction that people have yet to shake off. Even though the use of Facebook is beneficial for a company, if it puts it in the spotlight, yet, more often than not, employees use it for personal reasons or worst, to leak out company secrets, which might not turn out to be a good thing, both in forms of monetary loss as well as loss and exploitation of resources. 6. Random Internet Browsing Another common past time at the office is just randomly browsing the internet for hours. This is quite similar to watching videos on YouTube, but the employee’s randomly reading blogs and such are quite easier to recognize and catch compared to the despicable video-watchers, since they can claim to working on a project. Additionally, such random internet browsing might also turn out to be the reason behind automatic download of malware on office computers which may spread to other computers since most of them are usually connected via the office network. It’s time to create a strict Internet usage policy to make sure employees do not abuse Internet. Employers may also use apps like TheOneSpy to keep tabs on the online activities of employees and reduce the high rate of internet abuse at workplace. http://frankapptech.com/internet-abuse-at-workplace-a-rising-problem/ |

Have you ever wondered how hackers find their way into your systems and get to your data? They begin by scrutinizing your system similar to how data security experts examine your systems and processes to find network flaws they can exploit. It has been found that neglect causes 85% of network attacks. Despite consistent warnings from IT security analysts, many companies take cyber threats a little too lightly that they do not prioritize looking into them or set these concerns aside until it is too late. While some bugs can easily be detected, certain vulnerabilities aren’t visible to the untrained eye, as well as unintentional yet damaging causes of a data breach you aren’t aware of. Here are four of the so-called possible weaknesses in your security system that you need to look into: 1. Web-based Apps A study conducted by cyber security provider, Acunetix, has shown that there had been a total of 210,000 unknown vulnerabilities found in over 70% out of 3,200 companies and non-profit organization websites since 2006. Any IT security analyst can tell you that these vulnerabilities, ranging from SQL injections to cross-site scripting, put these sites at high risks of getting infiltrated by hackers. Some of these vulnerabilities can easily be fixed through patches made available in directory listings while others would require seeking the expertise of professionals handling cyber security. According to Acunetix, the massive amount of vulnerabilities found was a result of organizations taking data security lightly despite being mandated by law to protect the data entrusted to us by our clients. To avoid this, schedule regular security checkups and continuously upgrade your company’s data security system, including adding layers of firewalls. Implement security rules and ensure that every member of the staff is trained to follow these rules strictly. 2. Neglected and Outdated Networks It is important to perform annual checkups of the system, as vulnerabilities can occur in systems that no one in your organization had been aware that they exist. They usually come in forms of unsafe codes, misconfigured systems, malware that went years of being undetected, and patches that should have been applied but were either overlooked or forgotten. This is particularly common in larger enterprises where upgrades had not been monitored. The best way to avoid running into this problem is to keep a regular audit on all the company’s systems and processes. Immediately apply patches and malware fixes as soon as you find them. If you do not have anyone in your team equipped enough to do the tracking, get a data security provider to handle the processes to make sure that all systems are in place, and all possible entries had been covered. 3. Missed Vulnerabilities Some of the vulnerabilities are caused by the traffic that goes into the network. Even with regular systems check, these vulnerabilities can easily be overlooked, particularly if you do not have that much experience in monitoring and tracking systems. To prevent missing the quiet spots when you monitor for security flaws, conduct a probe of your systems in the same manner as hackers would find open gateways to your system. Unless data security is in line with your company’s strengths, it is best to outsource to a security company who’s more familiar with the routes hackers take when tracing vulnerabilities to take opportunities of. 4. Port 80 Port 80 is the primary passage through which traffic can flow back and forth the network. This is kept open for the clients, business partners, and suppliers that you work within your company. But, because it is open to third parties, your network is exposed to higher risk of hackers penetrating your system and getting their hands on your precious files. For your security and for the safety of the third parties that access your network, apply the principle of cyber security where no system—despite consistent upgrades, fixes, and updates is safe against hackers. Stay a step ahead of cyber and impose strict rules that these organizations must comply with. Subject BYO laptops to regular security checks and change your passwords frequently. Apply encryptions and logical security measures such as including systems authentication and authorizations. Monitor your network regularly and consistently for malicious activities such as unusual logins and conduct an immediate investigation when you detect anything suspicious. Leave No Room for Error Every business must put data security concerns on the top priority list as there is a lot at stake when hackers end up stealing information crucial to your business and your processes. What can happen worse is when they block you from accessing your own files. Allot a budget for it and find a reliable IT systems analyst who can take charge of your systems’ security when you can’t. Look where you’ve never looked before and zone in on the weaknesses. Continually test and apply patches and fixes as soon as you track vulnerabilities. When it comes to tracking system flaws, do not leave any stone unturned. http://frankapptech.com/4-weak-points-every-business-should-guard-from-hackers/
