BusinessHow To Start Bulk SMS Business In 2019 And Be Making ₦300,000 From The 1st Month by FraNKAPP(op): 7:21am On Aug 29, 2019
The profit is consistent and I'm 100% confident about this. Follow me as we run this show together.

Very quickly, I'm going to show you everything you need to know about bulk SMS business in Nigeria and how you too can start this business in 2019 and be making at least NGN 300,000 monthly from the comfort of your home without breaking the bank even if you are not a software developer. It's really easy.

Among many questions in your mind, the top of them all is, 'Is this business still profitable in 2019?' Come on, it's because of this business that I'm currently at goat meat (Isi ewu/nkwobi) joint now as I'm typing this message. I guess you know what happens at that joint.

Yes, I'm really going to walk you through, step by step with no step skipped.

Below is the outline of our bulk SMS business show today.

1. Who am I? Why should you listen to me? Why must you believe me?
2. Is bulk SMS business profitable in 2019?
3. A quick story of how I started my first bulk SMS business and 6 things I learnt from my mobile app’s journey to its first 1,000 downloads in 2017.
4. How to start your own bulk SMS business – Everything you need to know before you start.
5. How to choose a domain name and hosting company for your bulk SMS business. Don’t make my mistakes.
6. How to create your bulk SMS website the right way, step by step with no step skipped – You don’t need to have prior knowledge of programming.
7. How to deliver bulk SMS to DND numbers in Nigeria – If your bulk SMS platform delivers to DND numbers, you have made it.
8. How and where to purchase your own bulk SMS units (super APIs) at an incredibly lower price, yet very reliable.
9. How to price your bulk SMS business. I will show you my best-proven pricing strategy.
10. How to advertise your bulk SMS business with little budget and gain your first 1,000 customers in 2 weeks using Google Ads and a few other channels.
11. How to buy me biscuits after your first month of hitting it big.

This is already really looking like a long essay, more of that type they asked us to write in WAEC English Language. I actually smashed my English essay back then. If you doubt me, bring your WAEC result and let me bring my own. Lol!

Let’s get back to our business of the day. Are you ready?

WebmastersWhy I Built Another Mobile Marketing (bulk SMS) Platform, Sms.com.ng by FraNKAPP(op): 8:46am On Jul 28, 2019
Let’s be quick on this one, SMS.com.ng.

https://radar.techcabal.com/uploads/default/optimized/2X/7/795497555ef0c58cdfbc385618a0257bd4f21ae6_1_583x500.jpeg

1. The business is very profitable (ego dị na ya nwanne).
2. I needed to go from scratch and be independent of any particular company to render my services.
3. I wanted to deliver bulk SMS to all Networks including DND numbers and ensure 99.99% delivery rate without extra charges.
4. I needed to add more enticing features.
5. I wanted to be unlimited.

I don’t want to write a long story today because today is Sunday and you probably should be eating some chicken somewhere now. Nevertheless, let me give you an overview.

1. THE BUSINESS IS PROFITABLE

So, I started appwebSMS, my first bulk SMS platform in July 2016 and today, we have over 5,000 paying customers and 8,000 mobile app downloads. We make an average profit of NGN 1.00 per unit sold because we get the units in bulk.

I never believed that all those 1 Naira profits per unit can turn to some real little money until the volume turnover started becoming interesting.

But why not more profits? Well, even Dangote still dey find money. Who I be?

There are still so many customers waiting to patronize new platforms that have great promises. I think SMS.com.ng does.

2. I NEEDED TO GO FROM SCRATCH AND BE INDEPENDENT

When I started my first platform, I had very little knowledge about the industry and I hugged the nearest solution.

I went through the most popular and easiest route then, using a Joomla SMS Portal Creator component made by our Nigerian brothers. I give them so much thanks for giving us this opportunity to launch into the market quickly. They are wonderful.

But I was limited to one payment gateway because it wasn’t easy to go with another company.

I was also limited to customization options.

I wanted more options.

3. I NEEDED TO DELIVER BULK SMS TO DND NUMBERS

As time passed by, I found out that the frustrations faced by customers increased due to DND issues and I needed to solve this problem. I couldn’t easily do it with appwebSMS because I couldn’t customize the platform (editing the codes), so I decided to go back to the drawing board and strategies on the best way forward.

The only solution was to create another platform, and luckily, during this process, I found out a means to solve the DND issues of appwebSMS using the new platform.

As it stands now, the two platforms are working perfectly well and both deliver bulk SMS to DND numbers at no extra charges.

4. THERE WAS A NEED FOR MORE FEATURES

I needed to include Flash SMS, Robo Calls and many others. I couldn’t achieve these on appwebSMS even though it’s still the rock.

5. BE UNLIMITED

Who doesn’t want to? Well, with this new platform, SMS.com.ng, I can easily add new features in the future more easily.

The two platforms, appwebSMS and SMS.com.ng are working very well separately and there is never a thought of a merge.

Each has its mobile app at appwebSMS/app and SMS.com.ng/app. You can check them out too.

You can visit and drop your reviews. Thank you!
HealthDon't Overstress Yourself! My Laptop, My Health And My Story [photo] by FraNKAPP(op): 5:15pm On Sep 16, 2018
My dear people of Nairaland, I want to tell us something. Kindly follow me.

Some days ago, I faced a near austere, astringent and obdurate health challenge. Choi! Onyibo (English). So when I visited the hospital, the doctor said that it was caused by OVERSTRESS.

Me: WHAT? Overstre... what?

Now, I don vex and I have locked up my laptop (nonsense thing) with a confirm chain and padlock for the next 15 days. Let it come and stress me again, let me see. Lucky for it, I dropped a letter of the breakup.

I have also been drinking 1 litre of Yoghurt daily and sleeping 23 hours a day since then, at least for the next 15 days.

In fact, I'm now using that my stupid laptop that caused the overstress as a table for my dear Yoghurt and groundnuts for this next 15 days. That's its punishment. What nonsense!

Please, my people, let's always check on ourselves and find ways to unwind regularly. Excessive stress is very bad. Our body and mind are prone to nervous and mental breakdowns if overstressed.

Please, don't overstress yourself. Make we dey pursue this money small small for this country, Nigeria. Frank Umeadi loves you! ❤

Cc: Lalasticlala, kindly help to tell our people.

EducationRe: How To Write A Final Year Research Project That Makes Distinction by FraNKAPP(m): 3:00pm On Sep 14, 2018
Wow. This is quite an extensive article for students to learn from. There has been this buzz and frailty in students when it comes to writing their final year projects which makes them always think that it's very hard to do. I only hope that students will one day overcome it. Thank you, OP for this great guide.
EducationPost-utme 2018: 6 Things You Need To Get High Score by FraNKAPP(op): 1:31pm On Aug 11, 2018
POST-UTME 2018 is definitely back this year. Yes, it is better you believe that POST-UTME is back. I have two news for you; 1 good news and 1 slightly bad news.

The good news is that POST-UTME 2018 is back, and the era of screening point is gone. The screening point has made some people register for the special centre in order to have 9 A1s in WAEC and they also paid for JAMB runs (microchips) just because they want to study big courses like medicine and surgery, law, pharmacy, engineering and so on. Now that POST-UTME 2018 has been introduced, the admission slot will be given to those that really prepared for the exam and passed on merit.

The bad news is that the news was announced late as schools will soon start or has started selling their respective POST-UTME 2018 forms. I understand the fact that most students were not preparing for this exam. Most of the students were busy learning new skills, but now that there is POST-UTME 2018, I will advise you to start dusting the book that has been abandoned immediately after the conclusion of JAMB exam and start reading like there is no tomorrow because you have a very short time.

Though some schools might still want to conduct screening I am very certain that schools like UNIBEN, UNILAG, UI, OAU, FUNAAB, FUTA, and UNIZIK will conduct POST-UTME 2018 exam.

Now let’s go to the main aim of this post; how to pass POST-UTME 2018 easily. There are a lot of ways to pass POST-UTME 2018 but have it in mind that the method that works for me might not work for you and vice versa. Although your method of passing POST-UTME might be different there is one thing that will surely be similar, which is “Reading of books”.

POST-UTME 2018 PREPARATION OUTLINES

1. Practice POST-UTME past questions.

2. Where can I get the POST-UTME past questions?

3. Set a limit for yourself.

4. Attend tutorials.

5. Put God first.

6. Get to the exam hall early.

PRACTICE POST-UTME PAST QUESTIONS

The total truth of Nigerian universities is that they are very lazy to set new questions for the exam, therefore, they make use of previous year’s POST-UTME past questions. Make sure you get the POST-UTME past questions for your school and study the past questions well.

WHERE CAN I GET THE POST-UTME PAST QUESTIONS

You can get it online: Google has made everything easy for us. Just type the school name with POST-UTME past questions. For example, type “UNILAG POST-UTME Past Questions” on Google. It will surely bring out what you need either in PDF format or you will see it on the website.

And if you don’t see it online, get it in the bookstore. You can get the hard-copy in the bookstore if you don’t like the soft copy. Most times, some bookstores might not have the past questions, so I will advise you to go to the bookstore inside the school campus (the school you applied for in JAMB).

SET A LIMIT FOR YOURSELF

Yes, you need to set a limit in terms of what you need to score in POST-UTME 2018 exam. For instance, if the POST-UTME 2018 exam highest score is 400 marks, you should set a limit above average which is 200 and above. This will help you work towards your goal (that’s if you are really sincere with your goal). You should have it in mind that you are competing with numerous candidates for a limited admission slot, so you should make your limit a little bit higher.

GO FOR TUTORIALS

You might not really need this but I will advise an average student that want to get admitted this year to attend tutorials for the short period of time you have left. The benefit you will gain from attending tutorials is that it will help you check yourself to know if you are really ready and also it will revive your memory about what you have always known.

BELIEVE GOD IS ABLE

Have it in mind to always put God first in whatever you do, mistakes might occur when they are marking the exam paper but put God first and always pray as you read.

GET EARLY DURING THE EXAM DAY

Getting to the exam hall early will help you to relax your mind and also help you to remember what you have read. I know you don’t want a situation where the exam must have begun before you reach the exam hall. I expect you to use this time to check if all the materials you need for the exam is intact.

Goodluck!

BusinessNairaland, Are We, Mart.ng Doing Too Much? Story Of Our Recent Grocery Delivery by FraNKAPP(op): 5:34pm On Aug 06, 2018
Fellow Nairalanders in the Startup scene, are we doing too much? There is something about this particular order today and I need your take, please. Follow me, let me walk you through a bit.

https://radar.techcabal.com/uploads/default/original/2X/c/c21432f4e404bfe3339b150c8904c734299f84cb.jpg

At exactly 12:20 pm today, we got a notification from Paystack about the successful payment for this order depicted right below on Mart.NG. This time, the customer didn’t choose the 59 minutes delivery method but the standard same-day/next-day delivery method.

Normally, according to our shipping policy, all orders placed on https://mart.ng before 10:00 am with the standard delivery method get delivered the same day between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm, but all orders placed after 10:00 am with the standard delivery method get delivered the next day. Sure, the 59 minutes delivery method is a boss on its own. We can deliver even at midnight (runs away).

So what happened today? When this particular order came in, we notified the customer that her order will be delivered the next day because it’s already passed 10:00 am and our delivery friend has already gone into the streets. Upon hearing that, she pleaded that we try our very best to deliver the order today that she so need it.

Considering the fact that we are still new in this industry and we need to grab all possible penetration strategies available, I decided to go and deliver the order with a taxi. There was no extra cost but there were extra energy and time.

When I got to her office at Jabi, Abuja, Oh my world, I had never seen someone as busy as her. She hardly saw my face. From her environment, she normally would not have the time to go shopping. That’s the height of the need for our services.

When she opened her package, she saw three green apples instead of two and she said: “I ordered two apples, here is three?”. I had to smile innermost and told her that it’s a welcome gift as a first time customer.

Now, when I asked her how she got to know about us, she said her friend recommended us. Awwwwwn! What a beautiful friend. I wish I know that her friend. Thank you so much, great friend if you are the one reading this now.

We appreciate you all for making us. We got more beautiful stories to tell together. Let’s keep building together.

Now, please, tell me, are we doing too much as against our comfortable shipping policy and capacity or are these part of the necessary customer satisfaction needs in the startup ecosystem? Kindly let me know your takes below via comments.
FoodI'm Frustrated! This Egwusi Soup That I Prepared Quarrels With Water. Help! by FraNKAPP(op): 2:22pm On Jun 25, 2018
I'm frustrated. This is the third time that I'm facing this issue. I don't know what I did to my village people.

Why is it that anytime I cook Egwusi soup, the soup will divide itself into two? The egwusi/vegetables/ingredients will go one side and the water will go the other side. Please, my people, I need your help urgently. How can I make a good Egwusi soup that the ingredients doesn't quarrel with the water? If you have the step-by-step guide on how to make a good Egwusi soup, please send it to me because that's my favourite soup. Make me, *Frank Umeadi* happy, please.

Note: This does not mean that I'm not a good husband material o. I'm just preparing myself and I believe that no time is late.

Thank you so much as I await your positive response.

CareerMicrosoft Empowers The Young Man Who Teaches ICT On The Black Board by FraNKAPP(op): 7:53am On Mar 01, 2018
On the 15th of February, 2018 at 12:11pm, the legendary Ghanaian ICT teacher, Owura Kwadwo Hottish posted these pictures on Facebook and wrote “Teaching of ICT in Ghana's school is very funny. ICT on the board paa. I love ma students so have to do wat will make them understand Wat am teaching. #committedteacher. #ICTontheboard. #Teacherkwadwo”.

Social media exploded in admiration and wonder at his effort to explain how computers work -without computers. This man’s post was seen as both a bit of ironic fun about life in Africa but also as a source of inspiration particularly for Africans in the tech community like the Cameroonian tech entrepreneur Rebecca Enonchong of AppsTech says QZ.com.

Rebecca reached out to Microsoft on Twitter via this tweet https://twitter.com/africatechie/status/967818279078252546, and today, Microsoft has promised to empower this young man via this tweet https://twitter.com/MicrosoftAfrica/status/968372028003770372 “Supporting teachers to enable digital transformation in education is at the core of what we do. We will equip Owura Kwadwo with a device from one of our partners, and access to our MCE program & free professional development resources on Microsoft Educator community home”.

This Ghanaian public school teacher is today celebrated beyond the borders of his country. That is the reward for going the extra mile in whatever one finds to do!

Do it with passion. You could say I too like good things. Who doesn’t? Congrats Jaree, Owura Kwadwo Hottish! Kudos to Rebecca Enonchong for taking it up! Let life be like this.

NYSCDon't Laminate Your NYSC Certificate Immediately You Receive It - Read This Now by FraNKAPP(op): 8:09pm On Oct 28, 2017
Repeat after me – DON’T LAMINATE YOUR NYSC CERTIFICATE IMMEDIATELY YOU RECEIVE IT. Do you want to know why? Let’s walk down together.

You know, there will be this huge excitement in you when you receive your NYSC certificate, after all, one year no be beans. At that point, you will be like “WOW! Let me laminate this paper immediately before it tears apart.” My brothers and my sisters please don’t do it just yet.
A few weeks ago, my LGI was telling us not to do so, but all of us were confused why shouldn’t we laminate a whole NYSC certificate right on the spot? She went ahead to give her reasons. One of the reasons includes the one I witnessed during the last POP. Two corps members lost their certificates right at the point of receiving it. You see, the laminating machines are always unpredictable. They can overheat for Africa eeeeh. Two persons’ certificate got burnt at the point of receiving. I won’t blame them at all because they were trying to keep their certificates save, but the opposite became the case. Instead of joy and happiness, they were full of sadness and grinding of teeth. They cried all day. May this not be your portion in JESUS name, AMEN!

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO WITH YOUR NYSC CERTIFICATE WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT? Well, they are pretty straightforward.

1. Take your NYSC certificate to the nearest cyber café. There, make two coloured photocopies of your certificate.
2. Scan your NYSC certificate and save it to Google Drive, DropBox, or your Email.
3. Now, you can go ahead to laminate the original certificate. At this point, you have defeated your village people.

#LetsBeFrankWithIT

Please, share this post widely to help save someone’s NYSC certificate today. Let no one cry on November 2, 2017. Let all outgoing corps members see this post by sharing.

CONGRATULATIONS to all 16B Stream 1. May blessings fall on you as you enter the labour sorry favour market. Remain blessed!

@frankapp
how did you test your software while developing? did you buy multipile android phones/devices just to test em?
Or what?
I was using one physical device, Tecno Camon CX with Android 7.0 (Nougat) to test while developing the app. I was also using GenyMotion emulator with AVD of API Level 14 (Android 4.0) to test simultaneously. This helped me to ensure that everything works well on different devices.

I also later used my brother's phone to test thoroughly before launching.

GenyMotion is highly recommended because it's much faster than the primary Android emulator.

I asked them severally they said that system is down when I tried sending the messages.

Since there is no indication when the system is up or down, how do I know when to send an sms that will go through and get delivered.

I have been talking with them for days now, and have already grew tired.
Just be patient with them. They will be back to their best soon. They had an 11 days disruption on their servers. They are actually really good at what they do.

You may also want to try infobip and several others.

It depends on your SMS provider and the account you are operating with them. An Example of a provider that delivers to foreign countries is RouteMobile's EURO Account, not their Naira account.

1000 downloads in the first 4 weeks is relatively very small but it’s motivating at my end, so I decided to share with everyone a few things I learnt in the process perhaps it could help someone. You may also want to share this if you loved it to also help someone somewhere.

Often times the most lucrative opportunities are the ones we know nothing about. Indeed, how time flies. A quick flashback to June 2016 when I launched my bulk SMS business, https://appwebSMS.com, I was so afraid that my business could be one of those that died on arrival because there were thousands of bulk SMS websites already in existence.

I later picked up courage when I observed that there were thousands of bulk SMS websites, but there were just about ten bulk SMS businesses. There is really a difference between having a bulk SMS website and having a bulk SMS business. Lots of them had crappy CTRL + C & CTRL + V bulk SMS websites, but I wanted to build a business around my own website. Today, I want to tell you that my case is very much different. It has been a success story.

Earlier this year, whenever I checked the stats of the pages of my bulk SMS website, https://appwebSMS.com, the mobile app download page used to have the highest views after the home page. This kept telling me one thing; my customers need a mobile app.
But how can I give my customers a mobile app since I didn’t have the perfect skills in Android Development (things like Material Design, Java & Kotlin)? This leads us to the lessons I learnt from my mobile app’s journey to its first 1000 downloads on Google Play.

(1.) Procrastination is very deadly – I was really a poor developer before today. I needed to up my skills in Android Development to enable me to launch the mobile app for my customers, so I enrolled in a few courses on Udemy and I also downloaded some quality materials on Material Design and Kotlin.

Now came a time when my village people staged a fight with me. It was more like a Temple Run. The first night, I opened my Udemy app to start learning with the courses I enrolled for, next thing someone sent me a message on WhatsApp and vooooooooooom I’m already on WhatsApp to check the message. I did not leave WhatsApp again till the next morning and then realized I had wasted a precious night. I really blamed myself, but it did not stop there. The second day, the same thing happened, but this time it was Facebook that stopped me from learning. My bad, this happened for a period of 12 good days.

The 13th day, I decided to give my village people a run for their ***** you know and I stood against all odds. Believe me; I uninstalled WhatsApp, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Medium, and Quora from my phone. Yes, I also deleted Quora because I was spending tens of hours reading questions and answers of people that have made it. I installed Stack Overflow instead. I still wonder how early-stage developers succeeded without StackOverflow.

At this point, I was good to go. I shunned social media completely for a period of 4 weeks and the results became very interesting. I was able to learn Material Design, Java and Kotlin to an extent that I could develop the bulk SMS mobile app. Did I forget to mention that I learnt by doing? Well, I want to tell someone today that the best way to learn is by creating real-world applications in the process. There will always be great guides on Stack Overflow to help you understand every concept. Please, run away from any programmer that detests Stack Overflow. Let me tell you that I developed my bulk SMS app, appwebSMS within 4 weeks even as I was learning (learn-by-doing).

Had I allowed social media to win the war, I would have still been there hopping on when to learn. My brothers and my sisters, the time is now. Procrastination is very deadly. Don’t allow it to keep you back in the dark ages. Stay awake today and smile tomorrow. No time. I mean, no dulling at all.

(2.) User Interface and Experience are the Princess and Queen (use the industry standard) – Love at first sight, that kind of thing you know. They said all that glitters is not gold, but believe me, you will first pick up that thing that glitters before you now go ahead to discover whether it’s gold or plywood.

This same principle applies to mobile apps. If you want to download an app from Google Play and you notice from the screenshots that the design looks so bad, you will never download it. I guess you will agree with me on that because you don’t want yet another poison on your phone.

I was able to sell my app really quickly to my target audience because of its simple yet beautiful user interface and experience.

When creating your own app, you really need to invest heavily on UI/UX. It gets and retains those customers for you. Use the industry standard tools like Android Studio so that you can easily implement Material Design to your app. Also, ensure that you optimize the size of your app to get as small as it can so as to increase download choices in emerging markets like Africa.

(3.) Promoting your app aggressively with a personal story is the king
– the need for this cannot be overemphasized.

I launched my app on a Sunday and I told a few lines of personal stories linked to my developing of the app. That was the best thing I could have done and it helped caught my friends attention to download and also rate my app 5 stars on Google Play. Everyone wants to see a reason to support you. Don’t always present yourself as a company.

A company most times do not have a human face, but you as the owner of the company have. Use your personal brand to launch on the first day, then go back to respond to queries as a company. Human beings are always afraid of companies I must tell you. Come closer to your people and they will come closer to you. I currently have 62 five star reviews and 1 jealousy somebody’s 1-star review.

This early downloads and positive reviews you get from your friends are what will push your app to the next level. Use platforms like Nairaland, Google+, Quora and others to promote your app, but please, don’t waste your time promoting a crappy app. Ensure you have played your own good part, else bad reviews will eventually fall on you – Yakataaaaaaa…!

(4.) You can’t be perfect at first launch
– “If you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you have launched too late” – Reid Hoffman, LinkedIn Founder.

You have heard it from Reid Hoffman. This is also one of the reasons Google Play has provisions for app updates. You can’t do it perfectly at first launch. Even WhatsApp, Facebook and other big players are still pushing out updates today. This is because it’s not yet perfect for their users.

When I was developing appwebSMS, I deactivated the search functionality so as to debug an error. As time goes on after my launching, one of my users complained that he needed the phone contacts search feature that was when I remembered I did not activate it back before launching. A user also complained about not being able to send messages to more than 100 contacts. I tested again and noticed that I had wrongly used GET request method instead of POST. This being that GET request method allows only 2085 chars long. I’m really a dumb ass programmer. Only a few users knew it then and the best thing I did was to fix the bug and push out the update. Life is so easy!

So, don’t wait to be too perfect before you launch. “Your ideas only gets clearer as you work on them” – Mark Zuckerberg. Launch today and seek user feedback. Remember, there is no time.

(5.) You will get 1000%+ new paying customers in few weeks
– This is where it gets most interesting. Of course, everyone wants that ease. Nobody wants to dull at all. Everyone wants to just tap an icon on their mobile phone and do it vaaaaaaaam. Why then deprive them of their want? Launch an app today and see how your business will gain thousands of new paying customers. I’m a living witness.

Before I launched my app, I had about 170 paying customers in 1 year. But immediately I launched my app, my paying customers increased to 700 in just 4 weeks. Before, I used to wake up to lots of unsolicited MTN messages, but these days I always wake up to at least 4 credit alerts and another 5 credit alerts while in the office. This is just for customers that paid online; now add those that make a bank deposit and mobile transfers. It has really been a great journey. If I start BOLE (roasted plantain) business today, I must launch an app for online ordering the next day.

(6.) Customers are truly always right; be patient with them – during the cause of my exponential increase in customer base, I had received lots of calls from different backgrounds of individuals. I learnt that as a business owner, you must be patient with every single customer and offer them great support. One fateful morning, a customer called me on phone and this is our conversation over the phone:

Customer: Hello from the other side, my name is ******
Me: Well Done Sir (in Falz voice)
Customer: Please, am I speaking with appwebSMS support?
Me:* I now remembered that I forgot to do the normal thing because we were acting Falz over the phone.
Me: Good day and welcome to appwebSMS! How may I help you today?
Customer: I saw your app on Google Play. Please, how can I download it?
Me: *I was like Heeeeeeeeeeeeyyyy. How will you download it? I wanted to get angry in the first place but I had my chill. I started lectures with this man o. I mean, complete “Google Play Installation Processes 101” Finally we downloaded the app together over the phone call. Next…
Customer: How do I create an account?
Me: *What have I done to deserve this now? In my mind though. But we passed this stage.
Customer: How do I activate my account? How do I log in? How do I save phone numbers to phonebook?
Me: *My people, the questions were many, I nearly cried because I was answering the call. This is how we were on lectures o until he asked – How do I make payment? Then the normal me came back. Let me tell you that this particular customer purchased an SMS unit worth NGN40,000 at the end of the day.

Since then, I always treat all the customers like newborn babies over the phone. They are truly always right. We just need to be patient with most of them.

These are a few things I learnt in this short period of time and I thought it could be beneficial to some people, hence my sharing with you. If you found this piece interesting, do help someone out there by sharing these experiences with them as well.
