The other side of the argument is that the ND region has not been entirely successful in itself in managing it's resources.

You only need to look at the development indices pre 13 percent derivation and after and see the clear lack of return. Development agencies like the NDDC run since inception by indigenous management are no better than the average Nigerian inefficient and corruption laden bureaucracy.

I think a proper outsider is required with the requisite skillsets to run these agencies and 'quangos'. However I feel the very, very, very best from anywhere around the world should be sought.

I simply cannot see what the person appointed by Mr. President is bringing to the table in terms of know how and experience in that industry.....and please don't tell me the old fables that he is just a 'head' and he will have a team of experts around him because we know it will lead to the normal talk of, 'it is the people around him.that caused it' when the problems arise.

If you want to be world class get world class people to transfer r knowledge and expertise.
