Is payment of salary supposed to be celebrated or what exactly? What a country! Rubbish.
.........Commends Gov. Ugwuanyi "for setting a record
For paying salary? Oh Lawd! Somebody give us water to drink abeg![/quote]When you live in some states you will realise how/why this is an achievement.
gabng: Recently (today 17/07/2018) , Social Media was agog with the pictures of F-SARS operatives (in official NPF F-SARS kit) in a casual photo (see attached photo).
Commentaries from citizens casting aspersions & insults followed same. In the midst of all these it is important to not loose sight of the following under listed facts:-
- operatives in that photo were part of the team that was involved in the capture of billionaire kidnapper "Evans"
- The operatives as recent as few months ago where involved in the release of an octogenarian relative of mine who was kidnapped on his way to Delta state from Lagos.
While Nigerian's may be pissed with regards to thier "looks" it is important to note that 70% of their work profile involves serious undercover work in tough & very hostile environment & they should not be expected to look like Idris Elba on the cover of Vogue Magazine.
Try & imagine how security in Lagos State would be if F-SARS is not working for just 12 hours. Trust me it would be a MAD MAX kind of apocalypse.
Give our policemen the support they deserve & push your elected representives to allocate more funding to the NPF.
Shalom
Why should undercover agents blow their cover and post on sm if what you are saying is true?
butterflylion: Obviously because she has already collected her own 4k and didn't want anyone to hear that she would still not vote for PDP but vote for Fayemi her original choice.
uridadole: So your option is to bring in same old thieves that destroyed today from yesterday so that they can destroy tomorrow from today simply because you hate PMB
It is baba all the way. Nigeria must be better.
Baba has destroyed more than all past looters put together
pol23: Cool. I'm a strong Anti APC and Light PDP supporter. But this news is actually not good for our Democracy. PDP can't win a LG in Lagos APC can't win a LG in Rivers APC can't win a LG in Ekiti PDP can't win a LG in Osun. LG election is a Selection process not election. I didn't celebrate this. Na that Yeye Tinubu started this kind of politics. Back in Oyo state, parties drag the LG election, but the ruling party wins more...not any more...Since those poor soul don see how Lagos state dey select instead of elect... Anybody with the link to the Lagos state LG election where INEC declare PDP winner of Badagry....I don dey find am tey tail to show people....
YouTube link of badagry lg election PDP won but tinubu changed it.
Since President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office, Nigeria’s state oil firm, NNPC, has withheld over 25 per cent of revenues realised from domestic crude oil sales, refusing to pay same into the Federation Account, a PREMIUM TIMES investigation shows. The hefty deductions, a longstanding controversial practice, has continued despite the Buhari administration’s declared commitment to transparency and accountability, and reform initiatives at the corporation.
Oil and gas industry experts well briefed on NNPC operations have condemned the provision in the NNPC enabling Act, which allows the corporation to first recover its operational cost from oil sales before remitting whatever is left to the Federation Account.
The Nigerian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) in one of its Occasional Paper series on “Review of NNPC’s Monthly Financial and Operations Report” noted that such a practice, which does not set the limit for such cost recovery was “not transparent and fraught with corruption.”
