GMBuhari: Where's the long queue?
You stood on the other side of the road to show us long queue?
You didnt capture the petrol station and thier pumps
That is just a sign board for all I know
And someone's probably selling rogo or something else under those trees which is why vehicles are parked
Well done
But I don't believe you The part where I stay is along the state capital border so gas stations around here don't get a lot of customers. But a gas station around here getting this kind of queue, it will be 3 times longer inside the town. |

But I don't believe you If you like believe, if you like don't believe. My friend that we stay together had to park his car at home and went to his PPA cos he couldn't get fuel. I'm glad I left my car too in the S.West. It would've been worse for me. And well I stay in Sokoto, so I know how blackmarkets looks like here. |

Just up ahead, you can see a blackmarket seller. Gas stations here consider selling to blackmarket sellers first. Even NNPC stations. |

Ok. So, I stay in Sokoto and for about a week now, gas stations have closed their gates claiming there is no fuel. And the few ones that are opened have long queues. In my area, we have about 7 gas stations along that road. Only Oando is selling. I actually called a friend in the South West the second day this started in Sokoto and he told me everything was fine. Meanwhile, the situation keeps getting worse in Sokoto.
What's the situation across the country? Do you have such long queues in your area.

temmytee2309: I could remember i suffer similar fate from d so called police officers at oshodi, i was on my way to travel to deliver some money 4 my mum when they noticed me cos i was carrying a school bag. They called me over to where they parked their hilux and they were questioning me with different question like where am i living, my occupation, where am going to, my i.d and whats in my bag, even after answering dem completely they were not yet satisfied and i was forced, pushed in2 their hilux with series of beating and slapping they search all through my bag and found nothing bt still they wont leave me and they started labelling me as a thief and even threatning to hand me over to d task force stationed under d bridge unless i pay them #10,000. Bt at d end i later drop them wats with me at dt moment after series of begging leaving me with d money i want to give my mum which i hid very well inside my bag with my transport fare. Meanwhile all dis happened in a broad day light jst because i dressed well and i was carrying a bag... Pls ignore dt word "police is ur friend" cos any police dt help u is only doing it for eye-service sake. They're not there to help anybody. I have seen a poor old man take a case to the police station because his carpenter was trying to dupe him and his daughter. They've contacted the police station once and the officer extorted them without doing anything. Then, the policemen he met at the station after writing statement still said the man should give them N2500 for fuel before they can go anywhere. HOW IS POLICE YOUR FRIEND? Infact, they are your WORST ENEMY!!! |

The Nigerian Police Force is full of thieves backed by the law. I think practicing corruption is in their scheme of work at police college. When these idiots encounter real thieves with guns, they hide under their hilux. Some of them even remove their uniforms and hide like the youths they torture and molest. In some places in this country, once you're a youth, either you're trekking in the afternoon, boarding a bike (you don't even have a car o), SARS will stop you and take you to their headquarter prompting your mother to bring bail money of nothing less than N30K. I have seen this before.
Truth is they even follow poor innocent youths to the houses of their poor parents and try to arrest the boy so they will ask the mother to bring bail money of nothing less than 30K. Where will a woman that sells stuffs like biscuit and sweet get that kind of money. A woman that has never held 30K at once in years.
These policemen have abandoned their mandate. And all they do now is molest innocent youths and call everybody a yahooboy. They have concluded that once you're a youth (16-45), you're a yahooboy. The policemen close to us as full of illiterates holding the gun and backed by the law.
I've had my own encounter with them though. |

Car Talk › Re: Name Of Your First Car And Your Experience With It? by freecharles(m): 1:33am On Dec 19, 2016 |
ba7man: Mine was a 2001 Honda Accord (babyboy) manual gear bought in 2011.
The day before, a car splashed water on me on Allen avenue and it the danfo bus on my way back at the end of the day, I spotted the car.
Next day, I bought the car and it was a wonderful experience. It wasn't as fast as the BMW 5 series I had access to in school but the joys of rowing through gears trying not to drop revs was epic.
It was roomy , durable and looked better than the other option I had (pencil light).
A mechanic that was supposed to do the simple job of installation a new battery placed the terminals wrongly and it fried things in the car.
From that moment, it was one electrical problem to the other........ till another mech tried fixing it and smoke started coming out from underneath the dashboard.
It took weeks to rectify all the damage done to its electricals but eventually, I got it sorted..... phew.
I later crashed it in traffic while being careless(After driving it for 2yrs)..... I got home and put it up for sale. The next day, some Hausa guys from Borno came and paid for it immediately....... I spent the money and became a pedestrian again till I bought my current car. This Allen Avenue sha...That was where someone splashed water on me too I just carry eyes real quick and crossed the road sharparlay make another car no jam me. |

http://www.samarins.com/reviews/corolla.htmlCheckout the link bro....listed why you shld buy a corolla, some alternatives, pros and cons. U seem like u travel a lot. Corolla will work best for you. I've travelled to Sokoto from the S.West with my Corolla twice and I'm still rocking it. That distance, a Honda, EOD esp would've had this handling problem. Honda is not good for bad roads like corolla. The handling is the problem. |
