Sorry about that. I'm aware of someone whose employer applied for a Defined CoS in the second week of Dec & they received it yesterday - roughly 3 weeks of processing. This whole CoS thing is dependent on your employer amongst other factors.

This feels aching. The manager keeps telling me it's the Home office. The coy is A rated, on the HO liesence list, registered with CQC. 🥺🥺

Defined means applying from outside the UK. In this scenario, yes, my Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is defined. The HR department at my research institution mentioned a delay in issuing CoS during this time of the year. I speculate that many companies have used up their annual allocation, and the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) is likely delaying until January to start mass issuances.

I wanted to ask if you have received your cos as i have been waiting for mine since Nov.23 . Honestly it's really mentally tiring having to wait this long. Today make it 6weeks already. Has anyone received CoS recently pls?
