It is usually this way even on Sundays, not sure it has anything to do with the presence/absence of Igbos. More like no activities at the ports.

“However, I am prepared to make myself available for the service of my country in non-elective position.

Obi however said he would remain in All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, no matter the nature of assignment he is carrying out for the nation, adding that deliberate efforts would continue to ensure that the party becomes stronger in the country.

[s]Exactly GEJ deputy campaign manager south (SE,SS & SW) and at thesame time your nation's Economic helmsman. You are so hurt right now, I can tell.
I would rather prefer him focus squarely on his thriving business, bring more down to Anambra and employ more youths than being a minister which would kind of box him in... but someone has to do the job of reviving Nigeria, and he has been called to come over to Macedonia and help. His present post affords him all rights to attend his personal business which is awesome.

Freeglobe, up till this moment you are yet to provide a valid link of where Peter Obi was promised a ministerial position and/or where I mentioned such. Shame on you![/s]
lmao.... Peter obi is a clown just like his supporters. Someone that could not revive his state wants to revive Nigeria. Look at his job specification again you illiterate

Peter Obi continues as a member of President Jonathan's economic team. But the present position of Honorary Special Adviser post which is yet to be officially made public is a an omnibus position that has no specifically defined role and office and it is not certain whether Mr Obi's position entails all the appurtenances including salary and allowances entitled to such a position.

Meanwhile, to cure your ignorance a bit, Chief Sir Peter Obi is currently the Chairman of the Technical Committee of Economic Management Team

Bridges: Obi did a lot of bridges across the whole state (I can provide link if you contest that)

Roads: Give example of the Obiano quality roads since we are yet to hear of any aside those done by Obi.

Security: Obi started the Upper Iweka revolution. He chased a lot of criminals out of Onitsha and Anambra. He started the Joint Task Force which Obiano is building on. He drastically reduced crime compared to Chris Ngige whose activities fanned the embers of criminality and lawlessnes in the state. During Obi's tenure, the were relatively insignificant reports of robberies, you could only hear of kidnapping which targeted mostly the big guys around many states. So, he started the security revolution Obiano is accomplishing right now, Obiano couldn't have started it.

IGR: Ngige and his agents made sure Anambra's IGR never entered state coffers; even the claimed N450million Ngige and his cohorts claim was just a facade to cover up their looting lifestyle. Meanwhile, Obi raised the IGR to N600million. He then started putting resources into place to make sure the IGR increases. Revenue, ANSIPPA, Lands offices were all started by Peter Obi. Obiano wouldn't have achieved N1.1billion if he'd started from the scratch.

Obiano is not even touching as many areas as Peter Obi touched. Is Obiano fighting political wars? He does not have to because Peter has done those for him to stay focused on the bigger goals.[/s]
You are a joker! Only you could believe these nonsense. Even Victor Umeh who should know better than you has already stated that obiano has achieved more than Peter obi's 8 wasted years in just under 6 months. Keep deceiving yourself alone.

Mbaka should focus himself on Enugu politics he has been feeding off on since time immemorial. Telling us to abandon Jonathan and vote Buhari reeks of insincerity from "the Rev". Mbaka is never a popular figure in SE politics anyway and his hardcore worshipers do not make up to 0.1 percent of igbo population. Whatever he likes let him say, Buhari will not get up to 1% vote in igboland and the igbo population in general.

I challenge you to mention the real developments for all to see.

Who commenced work at upper Iweka?
What was Anambra's IGR before Obi's regime?
Since you could not see Obi's works in schools, hospitals, roads & bridges, agric, water scheme, security, etc then may you continue being blind forever, olodo.
The real developments, the flyovers in Awka, the quality road constructions, security of lives and property (no more govt sponsored kidnappings and ndi mpawiazu), ANSIPPA, investment attractions, upper Iweka, entertainment, night life, many more I can't mention here in just under 9 months. FYI Anambra's IGR stood at 500 million/month in 8 years under obi's regime, something obiano has pushed to 1.1 billion in just over 5 months of resuming office and is planning to push it to 3 billion. This is what we call governance. until Peter obi refunds all the balance he stole from our IGR in 8 years, he will never know peace

the problem with u is that u claim to know Anambra politics but u dont really know that udont know.

Obi has been a member of GEJ‘s economic team since
2011...am sure u dont know that...

Obi was begged openly by Okonjo Iweala and other ministers who were present when Obi gave account of his stewardship to Anambra State.

On that same day Alico Dangote stood up for a man of great achievement.

I dont know where u live but it will make sense if u can take ur time to come visit Anambra state. Yes Obi has his own weakness which is bothered on denomination that does diminish the good things he did in Anambra State.
The problem with you Peter obi praisesingers is when someone criticizes your master, instead of you to raise contrary claims with facts, you divert attention by saying the person is not from Anambra, like I have time to debate that with you. The same way your master Peter obi will respond to any criticism about his government as criticism on the igbo race. Since you say obi was begged openly by okonjo iweala and other ministers, why has he not been appointed minister yet despite many cabinet reshuffles by jonathan, including minister of aviation which he schemed so much for. Or is it Dangote that has never invested 1 kobo in Anambra? Any governor could invite anybody to say anything about him.
As a matter of fact, I'm presently in Anambra and the state has just started to witness real development after obi's 8 years. This same man pegged Anambra IGR at 500million a month for 8 years, something the present governor has more than doubled withing few months of assuming power. Is it security? Awka? Where exactly did obi do the good things that only you and 9inches know?

[s]Peter Obi was a state governor and at thesame time appointed Honorary Special Adviser on Finance to the President, the first time a governor will be so appointed. Remember he was in an opposing party APGA which took away power from PDP in the state.

His indisputable discreet and judicious use of public resources marks him out as special specie in a seemingly shark-infested political terrain. His grasp of all financial strategies and details is simply overwhelming. Through strategic planning, prudent and transparent management of resources, as well as reduction in the cost of governance, his administration achieved integrated and comprehensive development in all sectors without borrowing or owing anybody.

Now you know why he is a rare gem, don't you....? You are welcome[/s]
Peter obi is a shameless man who after looting the state for 8 years under the guise of saving money for the state (in his bank by the way) is now running around begging to be appointed minister
