SpaceTour: Leave the big players. I am a middle class and it is the middle class that runs and sustain an economy. Besides there are more than 1000 big players in Ph than just 1 in Enugu. Let's be realistic and not biased for once. Realistic? You are the one that is not realistic. Only a mad man will say PH is bettervthan Enugu after visiting those states. PH has more economy than Abuja, which one looks better? |

Enugu also has more flyovers than PH. Abagworo confirm. |

No road mark, no street lights, no walkways look at the shanties they are comparing with Enugu. This also looks like rumuokwuta. |

SpaceTour: I am not here for your usual silly comparison. Obi lived and is still living in Onitsha till tomorrow. I knew because I was and still involved
I know it is painful but I will still place Ph far ahead an Enugu because economy is everything.
Any serious and genuine investor considers 1000 PHs before looking for an Enugu. Just like we are seeing already. you are the serious investor that invested in ph and you are also more serious and genuine than Shoprite, Ama breweries etc. lol. |

Abagworo: Where else? Is it Igbotic Chime Avenue or Ogui Road or Asata or Abakpa or Awkunanaw or Coal camp or Emene or where? Maybe you will call individual estate within an area even inside rumuomasi, one of the most developed places in ph, slums and shanties abound. there are little storey buildings there. |

Abagworo: You've not been to Port Harcourt. No single road in Enugu is as wide as Stadium Road, Aba Road and Ada George Road Many of you came last to Port Harcourt before Amaechi. you've probably not been to Enugu. Is Aba Road wider than Enugu/Osha expressway? Have you been to independence layout to see the stretch of the well manicured wide roads |

SpaceTour: Stop fooling yourself Peter Obi was born bred in Fegge Onitsha and till tomorrow he stays in Onitsha.
Any serious investor will not put Enugu on the same table with PH. Enugu is a town for poor civil servants.
Even in my own little capacity PH is high on my table of preference. The same reason I say that ECONOMY IS EVERYTHING. Peter obi and his commissioners were coming to work everyday from Enugu. You should have known since you claimed to work in his government. Enugu a town of poor civil servants generate more IGR than Anambra. Do you know how many companies in Emene axis, nightmile? PH money is just oil money. investors have different reasons of citing business just as Shoprite left ph to open shop in Enugu. Enugu is not your Everyday Nigerian city. You can keep making noise but the fact will keep staring you in the face. lol http://www.100resilientcities.org/cities/entry/enugu#/-_/ |

HopeAtHand: Rivers state and Port Harcourt is very Nigerian..The problems of inefficiency and incompetence is there..and the tribalism issue isnt helping the development of PH as lands are not easily released to state govt for proper planning.most times even when released the indigenes still go back resell the lands.
That said, Enugu will choke from the pressure of PH. Enugu will never choke with pressure of PH. Enugu has wider roads than PH. More roads than PH. More dual carriageways than PH. More city planning than PH. Ikwerre man travel and see |

SpaceTour: Why not abandon it first and let us see. I think you are wiser than so many Igbo big shits in Ph. perhaps because of the oil status of port Harcourt just like the coal status of Enugu which has been out phased. most big men in Port Harcourt live in Enugu. Peter obi your governor and his commissioners ruled from Enugu for 8 years. lmao |

HopeAtHand: I am tired of having this same arguments allover.
We have thrased this issue before now..Enugu will literally break with the pressure from the population of Port Harcourt.
Live in PH during thr festive period when most people have travelled home for xmas and you'll definitely appreciate the infrastructures and liveabilty of PH.
We are trying to maintain "sanity" in PH given the fact that every January we have to deal with a new wave of bushmen from Igboland who flock down to PH with their Uncles, cousins, Aunts and relations to seek a livelihood in the oil city.
Those village people though not limited to only Igboland will now contribute to an already bad situation and pile extra pressure on us both in terms of sanitation, security, social welfare, strain on social amenities etc..They contribute little to the advancement of the city, but we have not much option but to manage them as they're our countrymen.
Menabadoo should count the number of Enugu indigenes contributing to PHs problems..we desrve him commendation for accommodating his brothers that ran away from ecomonic stagnation in Enugu and not wayward and flawed cimparison. but if those Igbos abandon port Harcourt, the city would be dead. In fact, igbos are not even getting the most of what they are giving to PH. Igbos make ph what it is today. From Genesis cinemas, Genesis restaurants, Everyday supermarket, mile one market etc, igbos dominate. Without igbos, ph would not even be in the discussion. travel and see Ikwerre man |

bakynes: @Menabadoo listen to @Spacetour, stop comparing Enugu to Lagos or PH. Yes I agree Enugu is serene, Lagos and PH is not but you know Enugu has far less population than these two other cities. No pressure on infrastructure. As we know Nigeria, the more population in any city, the more dirty, rugged and more bad roads becomes. Govt will spend more on maintenance than building that's why I tell people stop comparing Lagos to Uyo. Uyo is serene than Lagos since the entire Akwa ibom population is just one LGA in Lagos. Kano has more population than Port Harcourt, why is ph better than Kano. more population leads to more IGR which should have been used in building the city |

The inner roads in asata is much more better than roads in ogbunabali of port Harcourt. why are you wasting your time arguing with Chino. He's just envious of Enugu status because it's not his Anambra with vision less governors. I lived in PH for more than 10 years. Anybody that thinks ph is better than Enugu is mad. Where, how? Moreover, your Igbo brothers are the ones who derail our efforts in PH.. How is Enugu a dry town and port harcourt is not? I dont understand. Besides, if my igbo brothers leave PH, ph will be like Ajegunle. There will be no Genesis Cinemas, Genesis Restaurants, oil serve, Mile 1 market, etc |

The Nairaland Fiverr Free Training Thread[/s] you are very stupid. You think Enugu is your regular yoruba state capital. Enugu is the best state capital in Nigeria minus Abuja which is Federal capital. You need to visit enugu to see how your useless state capital is supposed to look like. Enugu's status is international as you can see here, unlike the village capitals you call Kano and the rest. Show me any other Nigeria city listed in the cities in the link below. And nobody cares about you Fiverr nonsense. http://www.100resilientcities.org/cities/entry/enugu#/-_/ |
