PoliticsRe: Ibos Did Not Develop Lagos by Freemancipation: 2:09pm On Aug 03, 2017
Yes igbos didn't develop Lagos. It was Yorubas with their ingenuity and investments just like they did in Benin republic and other south west states.

Yorubas also developed Abuja as confirmed by Mallam el rufai
PoliticsRe: The Last Statement Of Ken Saro Wiwa At The Military Tribunal In 1995 by Freemancipation: 6:55am On Aug 01, 2017
In the last days of ken saro wiwa, he showed up to an ohaneze ndigbo meeting in Enugu uninvited and pleaded for forgiveness from igbos. He understood at that moment that he has been used by the north just like adaka boro to betray his brothers.
PoliticsRe: Britain Must Be Called Back To Rule Nigeria by Freemancipation: 7:44pm On Jul 31, 2017
Op wait for Biafra to come and you will realize that all black men and cultures are not the same. Biafra will put so many people to shame.

Your desperation to maintain one Nigeria is the reason you want Britain to come takeover.

TonyeBarcanista:
You are talking of 1959 when there was Igbo dominated Eastern Region.

Meanwhile as far back as 1912, the Ijaws (Okrika) signed the first treaty with the British for the establishment of Portharcourt. A second treaty was entered with Rebisi Chiefs (Ikwerre) (brokered by Ijaws) in 1913. That was prior to amalgamation.

Go and collect it back oga Sir if you aren't satisfied with the status quo
Look at this one. Lol

Oh Igbo army invade ndi ikwere and colonized them and forced them to forget all their ancestral languages with no trace and only speak Igbo. You are a complete joke.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Government Demolishes Shanties In Obalende (Photos) by Freemancipation: 5:26am On Jul 30, 2017
The same areas ambode got his votes during election. Where are they going to live? Lagos should brace itself for a bigger wave of homeless people roaming on the streets.

And the protesters? Have they acheived their aim?
The point is that the nigeria you are desperately trying to save will be no more. Be careful what you wishfor.

This is not 1960s. Igbos with their diaspora today can finance a war for a very long time.

The problem is that in Gowon's time, it was a regional Government and the Eastern region was powerful, not just powerful but very active in the military and they knew all her weaknesses.
Let Syria be a lesson . Assad in 2011 thought he could use force to squash a peaceful protest. I bet you today he is wishing he negotiated peace.

More bombastic nonsense. None of those groups are threatening to seize Nigeria's primary resource base. Biafra is. The Nigerian military response to secession will be on a scale and magnitude 50 times greater than BH or Avengers.
Change Nigerian army to Hausa Fulani military because I know niger deltans or middlebeltans won't participate this time. They have finally seen what ojukwu was saying about Nigeria.

I was expecting someone to say this here but since you are the one that said it let me respond to it. This terrain you mentioned, i.e avengers in the south and boko haram in the north have you studied them closely can biafra sustain even a guerilla war with the other parts on the account of seccession
You sound exactly like Gowon who said he will take Biafra in 2 weeks. Almost 3 years later he was still fighting.

This time it will be worse because this generation is 3 times more stubborn than their parents.
PoliticsRe: Biafra Can Only Be Achieved By WAR by Freemancipation: 3:04pm On Jul 29, 2017
Let me tell you all one simple fact.

The Biafran army that Nigeria fought in the civil war was a standing army with a streamlined command structure.

The Biafra army that Nigeria if stupid will dare fight now will be an insurgency. It will be boko haram time 100. The Nigerian army will be open targets for snipers when they venture into cities. Attacks will be coming from all directions from Biafran insurgents and they won't be wearing uniforms unlike the Biafran soldiers in the 60s.

Did Nigeria army defeat rag tag boko haram? No

Have they defeated avengers? No

Now add Biafran insurgency to the mix and you realize that this will not end well for Nigeria this time.
PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu:i Don't Want To Lose My Friends To Biafra! by Freemancipation: 2:56pm On Jul 29, 2017
I have friends from Ghana, Senegal, and Cameroon from my school days. We can visit each other anytime we want.

Do people need to be in one country to be friends? Silly unity begging
PoliticsRe: Biafra Can Only Be Achieved By WAR by Freemancipation: 2:50pm On Jul 29, 2017

This info you have here OP in the words of obahiagbon is "audible to the blind and visible to the deaf" that biafra is dead on arrival. It can only be achieved through war in this country.
If war comes, will you fight?
PoliticsRe: Biafra Can Only Be Achieved By WAR by Freemancipation: 2:43pm On Jul 29, 2017
So you are basically saying that Nigerian unity is because of oil and that the reason Nigeria won't let Biafra go is to continue sucking their oil.

So basically one Nigeria is a scam.

It is as obvious as pregnancy!!

Fact remains that they disappointed that Nnamdi Kanu didn't lead a national revolution, instead he segmented himself to Igbo's alone

Who in his right senses would include a Yoruba man in any fight? No offence...

But research has shown that you would surely be stabbed when you least expect it!!

I am not being a tribalist, but i speak from experience.
Very true. Nnamdi Kanu is not stupid. He understands Nigerian mentality and limited his movement to Biafra. Look at the history of all the Igbomen that were pro Nigerian from Nnamdi azikiwe to nzeogu to ironsi

Still making urself feel important.
Go back to your miserable life. An Igbo man will always indirectly control your destiny since you don't have the backbone to stand on your own.

That's why they are ready to do rankadede for whoever massages their empty ego.

No your obsessive brethrens make igbos feel important. Why do people go crazy at the thought of igbos leaving Nigeria? It's like your lives depend on it.
PoliticsIgbos Are The Ones Holding Nigeria Together by Freemancipation(op): 12:20pm On Jul 28, 2017
I am making this bold statement because it's true.

The idea of igbos leaving Nigeria makes other groups start planning their own exit.

When you ask those who insist on one Nigeria if they are willing to fight to keep Hausa Fulani if they decide to leave, they say no BUT an Igbo man says referendum, the same people start screaming get ready for war.

IPOB has realized this twisted logic and that's why they are exploiting it. They are indirectly showing igbos the real power that they have in Nigeria.

That they are the key to Nigerian unity. Their presence or absence will shape the destiny of everyone else in it.
PoliticsTruth Is A Bitter Medicine And Lies Are A Sweet Candy by Freemancipation(op): 10:02am On Jul 27, 2017
The truth is a bitter medicine but it will save your life.

Lies are sweet like candy but it will kill you.

Anything built on truth will last while anything built on lies will slowly but steadily crumble.

This message is to nairaland propaganda and pro Nigerian moderators. Continue closing threads that you don't like because of the truth.

So it's official to the naysayers

Tomatoes and onions can grow in the east.

Enugu Igbo businessmen are already starting their own cattle ranches slowly.
PoliticsRe: See The Amazing Rare Crop Harvested In Biafra (photos) by Freemancipation: 10:25pm On Jul 25, 2017
Everything that grows in the north can grow in the east.

The fact that lots of igbos are more into trading than agriculture doesn't mean that their land is unable to produce all types of crops in Nigeria.

The Jews in israel didn't have a strong agricultural background when they returned back in 1947. Today all types of crops grow in their desert. They even have surplus to export to other countries.
