freshest4live:But the system in place makes it difficult to hold them accountable. It was designed that way on purpose. |
First of all. Nnamdi Kanu never said that he was offered Biafra with 5 states. That is just a lie. simple I will denounce Biafra if Nnamdi Kanu ever agreed to such evil and malicious proposal because south east contains 3/5 of igbos. What about the remaining 2/5 in the south south. I am anioma and I will never support a Biafra that leaves my people behind in Nigeria. What about other minorities in the niger delta that want to be part of Biafra and have made videos proclaiming their support? Only people who hate Biafra and everything it stands for will believe that story. |
TechRev:Exactly that what I am trying to explain to him. They know that the laws in Biafra will imprison or lynch them for corruption and the Nigerian laws will protect them. They are fighting for their survival and self interest. |
As Peter obi said, Nigeria is like a car with a knocked engine (corrupt system). No matter who the driver is, the car will never move. And to change the car engine (corrupt system) the north has to agree which to me is impossible. They rejected the aburi accord and went to war against it. |
freshest4live:No we have tried enough but north refuses to allow Nigeria to reform so that they system can be fair and just. They control the house and the senate. They control the presidency and military. So how do you think we can make that work in Nigeria. Do you think we will be talking about Biafra today if these things were able to be done in Nigeria? |
ransomeware:What? |
freshest4live:Igbo leaders love one Nigeria because the corrupt system of government it created enables them to steal without accountability. With Biafra they know that they will not even have a chance to steal because of the systematic checks and balances in the constitution. |
It comes down to who you can relate to best if you migrate to another country. If you go to a new place you don know much people but you know that there are Nigerians somewhere, you might naturally gravitate towards that area. Plus you will find out the places to buy and eat Nigerian foods from them. It is out of convenience not out of love for each other. |
They spend to much time obsessing about Biafra and opening propaganda threads against Biafra BUT Have you noticed that they never open any thread detailing How to solve Nigerian pressing issues. How to hold politicians accountable and reduce corruption. How to and ways to better Nigeria in general. Yet they spend all day running from one Biafran thread to another spewing hate. If you claim you love Nigeria so much, why don't you spend your energy in things that will better your country Define yourself by what you are and not what you are not |

This Igbo generation is saying enough is enough and Nnamdi Kanu has cemented himself as their leader. |
In summary if nobody is willing to fight the Hausa Fulani if they decide to leave Nigeria tomorrow then why the constant threat against the igbos? |
I asked a very simple question last year with my old account. If the north decides to leave Nigeria would you fight to keep them in one Nigeria? That thread was one of the most revealing thread on nairaland. The fact that all responders, some of whom threatened genocide on igbos constantly are willing to let the north to leave their indivisible Nigeria tells me that these losers desperately need Igbo in their lives in order to feel complete. They cannot imagine a world where they are on their own and face their own future by themselves without the Igbo man being around to assist with his ingenuity. The Igbo man is the most confident black man in Africa. He believes that he has the power to shape the world around him while the rest think that the white man is the God that will decide their fate. |
Restructuring was written in APC party manifesto but now they got elected they don't know what it means. This constant hypocrisy by Nigerian politicians is why people are supporting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu election boycott. It doesn't matter what party it is. They lack principles and Nnamdi Kanu pointed out that is the biggest problem of these political prostitudes. Look at tinubu that used preach sovereign national conference in the 90s. |
When I visited Ivory Coast 2 years ago, my uncles friend from that country came to visit with innoson SUV. Lesson to igbos: AFrica is is far much bigger market. The world doesn't start and end in Lagos or Abuja. |
MediumStout:The death of Nnamdi Kanu will multiply the resistance by 100 folds. |
IPOB youths that were peacefully protesting and didn't spill any blood were murdered in cold blood. While boko haram members that committed so many evils and atrocities are being cuddled, released and going through rehabilitation while being fed by Nigerian government. |
If you want to motivate an Igbo man, tell him that he can't do something. The true reason why the 20 pounds policy failed to impoverish ndigbo was because igbos took it as a challenge. Today you can't differentiate where the war was fought because Igbos with their hard work rebuilt their cities. |
Including Igbo motor spare parts dealers. |
pazienza:God bless you my brother for saying what I have been telling our people. I used to be one of those opposed to IPOB including minorities but even before IPOB became very popular, there were lots of minorities actively involved in the organization. That's why Nnamdi Kanu feels very confident on his stance. |
It's too late now. There was a Yoruba professor who was raising the alarm of the outcome of Eko Atlantic project to fashola but he was ignored. Now he has the last laugh. Eko Atlantic is actually a privately owned city. And will be managed by private investors. It might not do much for the real Lagos economy other than isolating the super rich in a fantasy land fill where everything is provided to them. Lekki might be abandoned in the future because of global warming and sea rise. Sorry to all those who built expensive houses there. This will only get worse. |
The moon can only pretend to be powerful during solar eclipse. The moon can never cover the sun for long no matter how hard it tries. The sun will always rise and shine. Biafra: the land of the rising sun |
Abagworo:A family friend who is a doctor in US built a clinic in owerri and called okoracha to come and cut the ribbon. Okorocha asked him for $20,000. The man was so disappointed but ended up paying the money to continue the ceremony. This is the type of men you wish upon Igbo land. IPOB will take everywhere by storm. |
Built2last:Well said. Thanks |
Hahahhaaaaaa Hausa Fulani is being rejected like there is no tomorrow... Everyone have woken up finally.. from real niger deltans to middle belts and now Abuja native indigenes. Only one sophisticated group remains and continue to defend Hausa Fulani. |
The only reason a lot of people pretend to love Nigeria is because they haven't gotten the chance or opportunity to escape the country. If you bring an American slave ship to Apapa today, a lot of people will be fighting to come on board. And they are the same folks shouting one Nigeria all over nairaland. |
Thank you sir for saying the bitter truth. |
Ogbuefi2020:They know the truth but they rather use that falsehood because it suits their agenda. |
pazienza:Exactly what I was wondering. It won't change their landlocked status |
For those who don't know. BILIE Is the legal arm and human rights organization of IPOB. They are dealing with Nigerian government through the court of law. Next is to move the case to ECOWAS then to AU and UN |
