Ymodulus:

Who takes the Bible serious?

A book where snakes were talking, men sleeping around on sanctions action from pseudo god, god is jealous of others, where virginsvjust magically conceive? etc

You mean the Bible whose initial version was written by a gay? King James?

Your stupid Bible that glorifies a bastard call Jesus Christ. Pls oreach the Bible to your sheeple believers not me. Cause you hit the wrong turn, and if you are so vexed with my opinions. They are strictly mine and mine alone.

bro, be careful what you say, showing negative emotions shows u as a weak person, an igbo guy insulted you , you took it out on all igbos by using that "5%" ish.... then someone insults you n made reference to the Bible and you followed your gutter pattern n insult everything bout xtianity n Christians as a whole, .....you always sound educated n intelligent (i have been following you since I first noticed your thread more than a year ago)..... but today you simply proved otherwise.....because im 100% sure you can't say those stuffs in the south in front of xtian extremists or similar stuff bout Mohammed in front of moslem extremists

...and concerning the topic,

***1st of all Mr ymodulus this is called a BUSINESS, infact an occupation self can be called a business (i took the pain to munch a definition of business for you)

*** 2ndly i understand the points you were tryna make they were good points, but the context/approach you made was what was wrong, you acted as if u knew 100% the guy ll continue selling shoes for the next 5- 10 years.
sounding like he was a failure.

***3.) there is nothing wrong in disagreeing with someones opinion, but there is a way to go bout it especially a newbie that wont sound discouraging, but what you did there was a straight up attack...if that guy is someone that has been following your thread and you were one of the ppl he got motivation from here, do you know how discouraging your mssgs esp the 1st one ll sound?

4.)**** i have read your 'business' threads in the past...the tomatoes business, the keke napep, indomie kiosk, bitcoin, transport, election keyholders et al ......pls can you tell us how this is different from what the OP is doing?? ok lets say tommorow you start producing, processing and distributing a product , wont money you made from these other stuffs be part of it?? and if u successful, wont your success story include those part??

5)**** some peeps in here gave you example of people that even started smaller than this Op n now are making products that you prolly have used, heck! EVEN ONE OF THE EXAMPLES OF SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSES YOU STATED, someone here even told you that the owner actually started in a small store in his area... But you chosed to ignore all that .

6)**** you all talk bout big businesses and stuffs, n all the seminars and stuff but, do you really believe you have exhibited the character those top business guys exhibit in public?? ...... google, facebook, apple etc etc , have you ever since their executive exhibit your kinda behaviour, .....they put in alot to celebrate whatever festival, moslem, chinese. new year, christmas, easter et al, some even do extra more, bt imagine what your typing.................. NOW IMAGINE IF A BIG WORLDCLASS CORPORATION WANNA DO BUSINESS WITH YOU IN THE FUTURE AND IT'S EVEN HEADED BY A MOSLEM or athiest (that secretly dont like christians sef) THEN THIS YOUR WRITE POPS UP IN THE MEDIA, AND ALOT OF CHRISTIAN CUSTOMERS WORLDWIDE ARE ANGRY...... MR YMODULUS DO YOU REALLY THINK THE COMPANY WILL GO AGAINST THEIR CUSTOMERS WISH AND CARRY ON DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU?

......like i said i have read some of your threads and your businesses has inspired many, and you gat a promising future ahead ....but dont let pride bring you down.

laughing. So so typical, you now what to insinuate that because you don't see white people's comments on NL it means they are better than black South Africans!lmfao white people complain about Nigerians all the time

na i'm not insinuating , n i don't write ups based on emotions, i see alot of these kinda topics n don't really like commenting .... but it came to my consciousness that, these people always complaining like all SA based Nigerians are usually the poor ghetto ones, (n im talking based on my observation on social media 'ONLY' as i have not bin to SA..... )

[n to clarify something, n at dsame tym apologise for not clarifying.. when i used 'white SA in dat context i was replying more to the higher-classed SA citizens of both color rather than just skin-colour, as it is easier to pick a rich Sa from a bunch than doing dat from a black,) lets put emotions aside thats just reality.

n no i never said all white SA are better than black SA, pls put your emotions in check n dont misinterpret what i meant bro.... n pls tell your ppl dat nigerians arent the cause of all their problems, .... do you know the monopoly DSTV has bin enjoying here, n how ppl have suffered for it, what bout MTN, do u know they were fined millions of dollar (if not billions sef).... i have lost count of how your MTN has illegally deducted money from my fone, n how it was nvr refunded, i can bet @least 90% of nigerians that have been using mtn ll have a similar story.......but we dont vent all our frutrations on your country n companies
...........u not d only country with immigrants dat hv committed some crimes, but no country in d world acts d way u do to another country its just crazy Imo.

i dont care what crime he committed bt u worried more bout the opinions of nigerians on nairaland, rather than d fact that a human being was shot dead by the police n not a comment from your folks showed remorse.....its crazy

You didn't get the content well. Go through it again. I'm not against packaging, but being ashamed of what puts food on the table. Dignity in legitimate labour.

i actually did get it, but i still went through to still be sure n its the same.

i actually understand the Op and i do understand your point dear, but don't just agree with only 2 points you stated

1.) u said there is no legitimate job that is shameful , well actually there are mane esp in 9ja

2.) you said he should be bold enough to state anything he does for a living when ask, ....theoretically well maybe, but stuffs don't work like that in the real world, how ll you advice him to present that on the table straight forward when it's gonna be detrimental to his opportunities..... as far as he isn't lying, no p, even God sef go vex for am.

i gave some examples in my previous mssg, which you prolly didnt get, but i'll still give one.

1,) "C.V" -if 2 engineering graduate are applying for a JOB in an oil and gas firm, 1 graduates with a 1st class and the other with a 2nd class-lower and they both meet
some one that specializes in writing CV, .....this is what a good CV writer ll do,- [the one with a 1st class degree ll have something like this "I GRADUATED WITH A 1ST CLASS DEGREE FROM SO N SO UNI... " while the one with a 2.2 will get something like "I GRADUATED WITH A B.Eng FROM SO N SO UNI... " n more interest placed on his skills n experience ]

--can you spot the difference 1 class is a strong point so its stated... while 2.2 is actually kinda a disadvantage n detrimental to the student's chance of getting that job and so its omitted. n his skills n experience is highlighted more

--- its not dishonesty dear

[n just to clarify something, him having the ability to present n show case more of his stronger side (i.e his superior opinions in d whatsapp group) while suppressing his weaker side (i.e his present job in this situation) is a form of packaging too, same with the CV example i just gave).
well if you still don't get point den i guess we gat 2 different 'realistic' opinions bout that, and i respect yours

There is no job that is shameful sir, so far it not illegal. You are a professional in your field but since the job isn't coming much at the present, you engage yourself in other meaningful jobs that can keep you going. Now when asked what you do for a living, be bold to state what you do. There is dignity in legitimate labour.

lol, dear life isn't black and white, and you're wrong some jobs are shameful depending on the setting you are,

for example you can't be running an insurance company or a financial investment company with a capital of $10k in a gathering of potential top investors and when you're ask your based capital and you just go n tell them $10k , lol... jst kiss your chance good bye, its better to focus on your strong points, trust me, they know

2nd example: you are in a classroom 1 guy comes in cover with sweat, rumpled shirt, quite disorganized , takes bout a great investment, where u put in 100k n get 20% monthly .. n how he has made alot of money from it in over 2yrs....

Ok number 2 guy comes, decked in suit smiley well ironed, good shoes. packs his car just by the hall n works in, briefly talkes bout some great stuffs he has accomplished..... n talks bout a 100k investment where you get 15% monthly, even tells u it might hv hrd its risky but he has 100% fate, n points to his ride outside as one of d stuffs he bought from what he accomplished in jst 2yrs in the business

....afterthought: the 2 guys where truthful and so obviously the 1st guy has made more money, prolly doesn't realise d importance of physical presentation n just feel his eloquent speech ll do it for him.....the 2nd guy package welll, not bcoz he doesnt have other better stuffs to do with money bt bcoz he understands d importance
now do you know 99% (atleast) of d ppl in that class we choose d 2nd guy including YOU smiley

...why do you think they have standard strategic marketing/distribution companies?

* I CAN GIVE YOU A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF A COMPANY PRODUCING A PRODUCT (a product that many ppl n probably you have come across its supposed direct competitors n ignored alot lol) this product was in the market for about 5 years, n then signed up with a good marketing and distribution company with individuals with great well known track records and in its FIRST YEAR of the partnership, sold more therefore making more profit dan they made in 5 previous years put togeda...... lool, so u see *PACKAGING* a product that the last tym i checked (which is over a year i did follow up) had entered UK market n where bout entering US market

......n d misery product in a HERBAL MEDICINE lol, so u see btw this herbal medicine im talking bout n d other Goko n d rest sold, what do u tink is d difference..... the one im talking bout weren't just going to say... *E DEY CURE THIS, HE DEY CURE DAT* LOL. they had to do network marketing, repackaging, promoting, seminars n a whole lot.... they had to brand in a world class way, instead of acting like d others

.....LOL sori for my long mssg tho, i just hope you get the point i was tryna make, tk cr

This Op is intelligent and if you're smart you ll understand or atleast have an idea. The Op gave an example of a building contract borrowing money to buy a car bla bla bla, actually a neighbors brother started like that and so does, the bigger the kinda contract , the classier he appears,... given wrong impression via body language is different from lieing, life is not black and white.... Op as far as you are genuine n u have a great plan u foresee succeeding when you get the financial support, imo i'd say carry on the packaging bt keep developing yourself....
you sounded like someone that have come across the book '48 laws of power'..... if not, then u indirectly applying one of the first four laws.... its a great book i just came across recently.

summary so far,

*** a well to do 'black' SA'n had the opportunity to come to nigeria, n was amazed by his experience and decided to put it down here, with amazing pics, which is very cool to do

*** a few Nigerians where giving reasonable advice esp. n who n where to avoid , which is very cool, n a lovely thing to do

*** a few Nigerians were reminding him bout the xenophobia ish (which i think we should all move on from atleast on this thread) ..wrong

*** 2 SA'n then came to completely mastubate n blow off err tin..... one a 'she-lion' that have bin crying in the thread, not visited nairaland 4 over a month, bt know all d happening in Nigeria (via nairaland) and the other that applied intelligence by arguing without insults bt slowly reduced to d gutter level ....wrong

***n some nigerians bt decided to follow up the insulting ish ...so bad
