Very good and encouraging act. I thought everybody in the East is very OK and living large like some akpu eating gorillas always claim on NL. So people still climb palm trees in the East? OVOKO!

Anyways I'm happy the young man got help and has a hand work. I believe and pray that his handwork will make him great so as to help others. My advice to iron flattinos who always brag on NL is to learn to.be humble so that you can get help to better your life instead of jumping from NL to FB hating other people and bragging about what you don't have. It's always funny to me how all the lying ipods claim to be landlords in Lagos, meanwhile many of them are in the village climbing palm trees, pounding akpu and chasing bush rats... apologies to the real igbos though
… I wonder how you tribalist, give advice while insulting other people's tribe & then still expect to be taken serious, the way u tribalist guys reason tho,
It's like someone advising you on how to raise a good family while insulting your mom on doing a bad job on bringing u up, & then still expecting you to take them n their advice seriously, can u picture that? Thats how u sound *smh....this is 2017, grow above it, IJN , amen

*modified* i expect you to tag me an "ipad yoot* just like your follow tribalists from the east side have tagged me "afonja" for attacking their messages...so that 1, nor be new thing

You are still not understanding the history of Rivers State and how Port-Harcourt came about. There are no sentences in the OPs article where he stated that igbos owns river state and why is it when you stand to be corrected you call the person a tribalistic. Port-Harcourt is owned by Ikwerre an Igbo sub-group just like the Ngwa's owns Aba, Abia State before other villages were later absorbed into the city.
My argument is not from the main article, but from the early comments b4 mine

I don't take tribalist from any tribe serious, becoz apart from the other many negativity bout it, it brings bias & reduces the intelligence of our discussions n argument, n this affects those that come here to learn (like myself)

For me i don't believe ndigbo own port Harcout..maybe a part, but not the whole

But lets assume for example that truly, ph is an igboland... N lets assume that i was a yoruba tribalist, n i come across this thread that enlightens bout the history of ph, instead of learning , na fight n arguments....& lets assume their was nw crystal clear envidence to support the claims...d tribalist ll simply switch tactics to sometin like " una they argue say lagos (that is deep rooted in the SW) na no mans land, n u want make i believe say ph wey nor even they una SE region, na una own,ba?"

U see this ll kill any kinda valuable infos dat ppl can come n learn from....so what im tryna say is "SAY NO TO TRIBALISM" lets leave as one :/

I doubt if you know what "ignorance" mean
Pick of a dictionary, check the meaning, read my post again with an open mind, n try n understand this time, that not everbody that disagrees with you is a tribalist or tryna be tribalistic...becoz i know how you guys mind work.

So for 7yrs you didn't learn any history about Rivers State. Do you even know that Ohaneze Ndigbo vice president is from Rivers State. Some places like Rumuola is called Umuola which means the children of Olachukwu. Do you even know the Delta State you mentioned which a city like Asaba is located is part of Ohaneze Ndigbo . Asaba (Igbo : Ahaba) is from Ahabagom, meaning "I have chosen well. This is why Nigeria abolished teaching history in schools. I can remember when a certain roman called Pilate crucified Jesus but still called Jesus the king of Jews even when the chief priest of the Jews objected, Pilate said what have written, i have written. What am saying is with the little details Pilate heard and saw he knew Jesus was a king and have Israel remained independent until Jesus days, Jesus would have literally become the king of the Jews.
the problem with you tribalist, is that once you guys detect some1 disagreeing with you guys, you tend not to understand what the person mean, ....u claiming history, oga history is wide, n we learn err day, on the rumuola ish, i think err 1 dat hv stayed there knows, there is rumuokoro, rumuochakara, rumuokuta etc, n dey all mean,... "the children of..." thats not the history i wanna be enlightened with, i wanna know how the "WHOLE" of port harcourt is igbo, n when explaining, i'll most importantly wanna know where the other tribes occupying the land migrated from..... you stated that ndigbo own a "PART" of Asaba, which i agree with totally... "A PART" is the keyword there, n thats what i believe igbo hv in ph too, not the WHOLE ph, as u guys are claiming (this is my disagreement until proving otherwise) , if u notice from my previous mssg, in those questions i asked, some of those tribes have a large stake in that land, but its WRONG to claim the whole region is theirs, for example
the most well known and most popular king in warri is the "olu of warri" ...but that doesnt mean warri belongs to the itsekiris, or to say the urhobos have it because they have the highest population, nor can the ijaws claim they hv it, becoz they hv the biggest region (when both water n land mass is added)..... So thats what i believe, that yes igbo might actually have a portion of pH, but nor they claim ownership

Lol, all these yoruba n igbo tribalists have started again, this is 2.0.1.7, grow up bruh

and to the guy saying the locals refer to ph as igweocha? Lol, bro abeg nor dey lie na.... i have been in ph for close to 7yrs,but this is the 1st time i'm hearing that name.... and to clarify, igbos don't have the whole ph, (maybe just a little part, i dunno), but if you believe you do, then pls kindly enlighten me, of where the ikwerres, kalabaris, etc originated/migrated from.
It's like saying Asaba is an igboland or say Urhobos own delta state, or itsekiri own Warri or saying edo belongs to the ishans

I think that he answered it the best and honest way he could, and that i have seen tho…. There are some delicate questions in this world, that a "yes" or "no" answer can't be given, but the answer will enlighten you more on choice you make, because the answer is a personal decision to everyone.....the old me for just claim straight-up that it's totally bad and start to condemn, but growing up, ppl's "real life" experiences has made me more enlightened n open minded tho.....
Una wey dey claim he shld give a straight yes or no answer, lemme ask u guys , if u were a public figure, n ppl seek "real life" advice from u, pls what ll be ur answer to some1, like the widow with 6kids? yes or No" Lol,
If he has said yes...next thing u see is nigeria reacts as freeze encourage everyone to masturbate
If he says no, ahhh
Trust 9ja to dip up stories like the widowed woman with the 6 kids, n more complicated n complex ones,
Some blogs can even go far as saying freeze encourage promiscuity even with mothers lol uno hw our ppl they.... So, to me o, he gave the best answer, the 2nd best would hv been to keep mute.

Mind you, I love God and He loves me more. Don't speak for Him about how He condemns. You're too serious for people like me. others reply me that I've made their day and that I'm too funny. one even replied me after much exchange abt tribe that I was too funny and today we follow each other and that's past bro. Do you really think I hate Afonja? Bro I catch fun here and it makes my life happy. you need to see how I laugh alone like a mad man in my room reading posts by people abt everything. Catch fun and judge not. You also got some habits that others detest, so work on yourself also. You can't steal my joy and make me too mean and serious. Work on those complain about you from people too. Thanks
Well, maybe i take some things too serious tho, but uno somethings are too serious to joke with on a platform like this, tribalism in d last 2 to 3 years hv bcome more serious in 9ja, honestly my intention was mostly to attack ur mssg n not you..... If u ask me, i can put my money that, 70-90% of nairaland dat shout afonja, ipob, almaijri are not tribalist 1bit, i knw dat so if u say u not, i have no doubt, but na play play e dey take start, ur joke message my motivate some1 u dont know
Bro d fact i'm replying is dat i gat notin against u, but trust me i have seen how li2 playful things like dis grow, so dont blame me if u see this like over-reacting
* for example, dis tribalism argument if u remember, wen dey post a bad news, u just see ppl writing things like "NCAN for aba or from ilorin or from american reporting* lol it was funny den, but if u nothing d accusation n insult is more serious now,
* i follow an american urban site mediatakeout (dot)com n like play 1 guy was always very racist, n he was not too taken seriously n b4 u no, more racist commenters where coming n it was getting worse, even comments against minors n raped victims, dey had to ban many of dem, its not as bad as b4 , but 1z in a way u might still come across such

i just want u to get 1 thing brother, my comments is not against u, its against ur comments, but i go try relax small sha, n errm make i follow you grin

Nobody is claiming intelligence over u, just say u shld make intelligent arguments, honestly i thank God for your life bro, but you claim God's favour is what lifted u to where u are today, that's cool, so tell me, ll the God that elevated you to your present level be proud that his child that he took from nothing to sometime, is now condemning others, n looking at ppl from other tribes as inferior to him , (bcoz u clearly stated something like this abi u don forget).... n u claim u don't tKe things here serious, well just know what u type is read by many, n u don't know how dept ur message here came go far n deep in ppl's mind, y not encourage love, n unity instead of tribalism....n u saying i take things here to heart loool, no need to convince u otherwise, just look at when i registered and how many post i made, n i visit nairaland atleast 1 errday
