I'm someone that studied Microbiology as my B.Sc in University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The only work experience I have in relation to the Microbiology I studied is teaching Biology for 3 years in a secondary school. I have no education certificate too. I was just employed as a Biology teacher. Other jobs I did are just side hustles. I'm currently learning digital Marketing as a tech skill.
Now I want to write IElts and try the Express entry route but I don't know the skilled occupation category I should choose. If I go for health, I'm not skilled in any health related occupation except that I taught biology. I don't have any higher certificate like Masters too. I know very very basic french language. Have been trying to learn more but don't know how fast I can learn it. I'm single too and I'm 31.

With my profile, can someone please advise me on the best options for me through the express entry route

your friend before its now you Well he is not the primary applicant. He can write the ielts. Use the crs tool to simulate scores.

Let me try, though ppl say the chance is 0.1%

1. Evaluate your transcript gottent outside Canada in WES so you can get the Canada equivalent

2. Research the job areas of interest to know where your target your beam search is fully equipping yourself with the skills, experience, education, certification etc

3. Standardized your resume and cover letter to the specific job based on knowledge in 2 above.

4. Apply on Job bank, Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdor for roles with sponsorship visa

5. Be very used to regret Mail and keep updating and finteuning your application till you hit the goldmine.

if they are to conduct any category based draw it will likely be trade, the last time trade came up it was December. But i doubt any category based draw for now, ircc priority have shifted to the inland applicant henceforth it will be more of cec, general and pnp.

How often do they do the draw

Yes you can submit more documents after paying app fee, just login to your portal and upload documents, just make sure you submit your certificate, transcript, and English language result. All very important

Hii guys I booked my celpip test for 31st May,2024;Friday.However I got there as early as before 6am because I was coming from Ghana but when I got there I was so exhausted so I decided to rest a bit at the hotel that shares the same compound as Katia gardens.And when it was 8:03am (on my phone) I headed to the Katia gardens to write my test.I got there at 8:06am (Ghana time) only to be informed that it was 9:06am and that the exams had already started and that nothing could be done about it.It didn’t occur to me that Nigeria leads Ghana by 1 hour in time.I was refused entry to write the exams,I have been crying since & I haven’t recovered still.Atp I don’t know what to do.
I started studying for the exams since March and I prepared so much.Now I don’t know what to do because I invested so much into coming and paying for the exams plus my hotel,Food & others.
I already sent Celpip a mail but they said they can’t do anything about it.
Please help me ….what do I do now ?
