Frankrobbn1: I totally get where you're coming from, and I did some digging for you. While it's important to note that tuition fees can vary depending on the specific program and institution, I found a couple of options that might fit within the $10k to $12k CAD range for a one-year program:
1. Centennial College in Ontario: They offer various programs with tuition fees in that range. You can check their website for more details.
2. Algonquin College in Ontario: They have some programs that might fall within your budget. Take a look at their offerings to see if anything interests you.
Don't forget to check the specific program details, admission requirements, and available scholarships or financial aid options for each institution.
If you need more suggestions or have any other questions, feel free to ask here.
It will end in praise Thanks |

Good morning ppl
My observation so far is that most courses that I'm seeing in this Canadian school journey are mostly in the range of $16k cad or above for a one year program
Are there even courses below this amount. Like a course of $10k to $12k cad for a one year program? |

Frankrobbn1: When it comes to universities in Canada, the admission requirements can vary from one institution to another. While some universities may have a minimum CGPA requirement of 3.50 or higher, there are a few universities that may consider applicants with a CGPA of 2.2 like Memorial University of Newfoundland, University of New Brunswick and Crandall University just to mention a few. It's also important to note that meeting the minimum CGPA requirement doesn't guarantee admission, as universities also consider other factors like your statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and relevant work experience.
As for your second question, the cost of education in Canada can vary between universities and colleges. Generally, college programs tend to be more affordable compared to university programs in some cases. However, this can vary depending on the specific program and institution you choose. It's a good idea to research and compare the tuition fees and other associated costs of different universities and colleges to find the best fit for your budget.
Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!
It will end in praise Thank you |

justmoveglobal: 1. People who graduate with 2nd class lower, 3rd class and pass is not eligible to apply to University for masters except you have a supervisor that want to work with you. 2. Financial involvement, you can go to college for 1yr PGD/PGC and still apply for PGWP after your study, so the burden of 2yrs tuition fee in acct and 2yrs living expenses won't be there 3. Individual difference can still play out here Thanks for ur reply |

ShowYoung: Perhaps because they have recognized that: 1. Colleges do offer some of the things universities offer, e.g bachelor's degree, PGD, and what they want does not necessarily need one to attend a university.
2. Colleges are far better when it comes to employability in terms of employment and professional courses in a very short time. What chance does BSc Psychology have where Diploma in Nursing is? What chance does BSc Chemistry stand where Certificate in Carpentry is? Can you say MSc Software Engineering is better than PostGrad Cert in Software Engineering?
3. Nigerian professors have brainwashed us that university is the best. We failed to recognize and acknowledge what colleges are the best at.
Example is University of Western Ontario is in collaboration with Fanshawe College to run their Nursing program even though they know that Fanshawe offers Diploma in Nursing which will lead to RPN. UWO offers B NSc. that leads to RN. UWO recognizes Fanshawe's mastery in that field and embraces it to at least foster their first two years. This is great wisdom. Thanks for ur reply |
