Super Eagles Coach Apologises to Fans

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has tendered an unreserved apology to Nigerian fans and the team’s supporters around the world for falling short of winning the Africa Cup of Nations trophy, despite expectations and belief going into the latter stages of the tournament. Speaking after Nigeria ended the competition on the podium, the coach opened up emotionally, choosing to address supporters directly.
