Purpose of Position
The WASH Officer will support the UNHCR Country Operation, in coordination with the Government, to assess needs and coordinate the provision of WASH services to persons of concern to UNHCR. This will include WASH contingency and preparedness planning, assessment and development of long term WASH Strategy and operational plans.
Coordination or WASH partners in conjunction with the government authorities, and monitoring progress of WASH programme implementation to ensure that an adequate level of WASH services are provided at each site in accordance with the UNHCR WASH Manual and Technical Guidelines, and applicable UNHCR Standards and/or National Standards.

Purpose of Position
The Program/M&E Officer will work within the Technical unit and in the field office of HIFASS to provide project management support in the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of Health assistance and WASH intervention for Cameroonian refugees.
The incumbent undertakes field visits to monitor the implementation of program and introduce corrective measures where needed.

Purpose of Position

Assist to lead the operationalisation of M&E systems for AAH programs to ensure compliance with donor and AAH M&E standards.

Provide scientific leadership and support to Nigerian CDC and other Nigerian researchers to improve and expand their research skills, and particularly for implementation science and product research related to Lassa fever.

Guide implementation of research capacity strengthening strategies on Lassa fever so that Nigerian research institutions and research partner organizations  develop and implement collaborative research plan. The incumbent will ensure that research activities and capacities carried out are of high quality research, compliant with generally accepted scientific and ethical standards, and in view of sustainably building local research capacities.

Oversee the implementation of all research management procedures so that research protocols and budgets are developed, reviewed (technically, ethically) and approved as efficiently as possible by relevant federal and state institutions, including national regulatory authorities as needed.
