In Kola’s defense; production has painted an unhealthy portrait of him to viewers making most of her(Dede’s)supporters believe he’s undeserving of Her affection. It’s just a show….y’all can tear them apart when they are out of the house.

Your attempted psychoanalysis doesn't affect me though, i was just giving my opinion on WHY viewers and her fans seem upset, i had just come from Twitter and observed the comments.

It's not about shaping narratives all the time, production can only do so much. Kola does have an issue with keeping his mouth shut, something Imisi and Bright have warned him about.

I got annoyed when he took his simping to astronomic levels and went as far as bad-mouthing Koyin (this alone should have alerted Dede) while still consistently telling everyone his business with Dede. Dede herself never said she couldn't do duvet things (she actually congratulated Mide when she told Dede of her first aggressive cuddling with Bright), but her fear was a lack of discretion which Kola kept showing.

The girls could have warned her, but she's not really a girl's girl and almost all of them are friends with Kola (some of the ladies even see Kola as one of them to an extent) , so they consider him harmless.

At the end, like i said, Dede is still a youngin. What must have sealed her decision was the talk from Joanna and Rooboy in the secret room.

This whole show is all about Creating a compelling Narrative. The production/camera crew do that all the time, giving viewers what to run with on social media.

The production/camera crew created a narrative that Dede is the perfect girl, The IT babe of the season, who is without flaws(knowing She’s human and heavily flawed at that) Thereby Portraying the likes of kola, Koyin and Jason as mere chasers and pawns in her game.

Now, the production/camera crew didn’t show us what happened between her and kola for a reason and we all know what that reason is(to maintain that narrative) What is unfair though, is the fact that they never accorded the same treatment to housemates like sultana and Bella.

Dede’s Fans/supporters too played a part in this whole situation. Placing her on a pedestal of perfection(Saint Dede) And we all know what usually happens when imperfect humans are placed on a pedestal.

When someone is on a pedestal, the person placing them there holds them to an impossible standard of perfection, making even their natural flaws seem like large disappointments…Her fans are already crashing out on social media, blaming Joanna and Rooboy, While some have started tagging ebuka again to ask kola questions on Sunday. 🤣

If kola didn’t have that conversation with bright this morning, we wouldn’t have found out something happened between them because the production crew kept it from us.

Now, My question is this; are people mad at kola for being a blabbermouth for having that conversation with bright or they are angry and disappointed because Dede, an imperfect human has fallen off the pedestal they placed her on?

To be honest, it's more about anger at WHO she's doing it with.

Koyin & Dede was wholesome and giving "High School Musical" vibes.

A situation like Dede and Bright would have been brushed off as understandable because it's Bright.

But Kola & Jason established a bad reputation for just being messy. If Kola maintained a sense of discretion it would have given the energy of an official new ship, just like how Cee-C & Tobi's first French-kiss was celebrated after weeks of Cee-C proving very tough.

Kola is making it clear he wants Dede as a conquest, which is the annoyance of viewers.

I do agree that the camera crew were very wrong for not showing what happened, because it would seem like Kola is lying or Dede is being protected by the show's production team as a ratings gold mine.

Trust me, that's as far as Dede will go, except Kola times her this night after the party. There's no more Koyin to protect her, except Kola stops based on conscience. No, i simply enjoy seeing good examples on the show, especially from housemates i like, both in guys and girls.

Boma was my most-liked housemate in SYE until he started to unravel by telling several housemates he slept with JMK, then constantly saying Angel was for his enjoyment, then his littering Queen, then his jeopardizing his friendship with Pere just to lay Maria, and then his thing with Tega despite Jaypaul begging him to not do it as her husband is his friend.

Kiddwaya never treated Erica like an object and always spoke very highly of her, taking it further by shipping with her for a while after the house until Linek broke everything up. That's why Erica could even tell other housemates about their bedroom doings.

Sheggz was very irritating, but he never did Bella dirty, and he made sure their private business was their private business, even though they didn't go beyond kissing.

Bright and Mide have done a lot, but Bright treats her like a new bride while always keeping his own mouth shut. That alone has made Mide feel totally safe with him, and that's why nobody's slut-shaming her.

Koyin's rating skyrocketed on Twitter with his treatment of Isabella. He basically turned a wannabe OS to a good humble girl with affection, respect, and saving her from embarrassment when Dede returned to the house. Though they're more sexually intense than Bella was with KK, their duvet tins now look more like a romantic love scenes than the gonzo por*n Bella was known for.

Dede presented herself as having quiet aura mixed with home training that could outwit and outlast Hot guys that just wanted to lay her. Shakara is normal for women, i don't see who she hurt by carrying herself with some pride. But when she just pecked Kola, Twitter people were celebrating like the APC had been thrown out of government!

There was a very toxic need among many viewers to just see Dede get "humbled" , and we know what humbling a woman means in Nigeria. It was no more "Will Dede find a guy she likes on the show?", it was now "Who'll finally take down Dede, the it-girl of BBnaija Season 10?".

So i noticed there was a kind of unspoken "May the best man win " thing between Jason and Kola. Because Dede really didn't mix in the house but Kola did, there was no one to warn her to maintain her guard till the show ends.

Infact, Jason and Kola are so messy that even if Dede gives in to either of them after the show, they'll still spill at the reunion.

That's why i really wished Dede put her foot down with the fishes.

Something happened yesterday, and Kola will spill everything for 1 reason - Bragging rights. Why? Because it's cruel fun for many guys to humble & shame girls like Dede.

That was why i didn't approve of the ship between Mercy & Pere, the guy was simply pretending to get laid in the house, not outside as that would be private and he wouldn't be able to brag about it. Luckily Mercy delayed him till after the show.

This last Thursday Thelma told both bright and mide dt she's not happy as Mide is not treating bright well. Dt if she had known, Mide won't do him well she would have stolen him from week 1.
She has not hidden the fact dt she likes Bright. He even told kola a few weeks ago dt Thelma mentioned his name & kaybobo as the guys she liked in week1 and that he told her he liked Mide and it was awkward. This happened when he was coaching kola the morning after Dede slept in his bed.

I see no reason Thelma should hide her intentions, Bright is very very single and as Isabella rightly pointed out, Mide herself is a trespasser , and Bright has clearly stated he has something outside, making Mide no different from Sultana.

That's why Ibifubara boldly stated her interest in Bright. That's why Gigi also made her move on him. It's why Bella declared her interest. It's why i believe Kuture was right, Sultana did have her eye on Bright. It's why if not for shame of cameras, Soso would have made a move. It's why Thelma can make her move on him. And it's why even Dede can still make her move on him (this would be after the show though, on TV it would really paint her in a bad light, plus it would shatter Kola).

I insist that Mide is a smart girl, she knows she can't lay 100% claim on Bright,but women are weird creatures that always want it ALL. She started being nasty when she saw Ibifubara was flashing her green light at Bright. She started being nasty to Bella immediately she declared her interest in Bright. She'll most likely show her red eye to Thelma if she tries anything now, even in the form of giving Bright food.

I was listening to a kitchen conversation yesterday between Mensan and Koyin where Mensan was telling him he doesnt trust him around girls and would never leave him alone with his girlfriend or sister no matter how close they are.

I actually like that she's got a good sense of pride but if she really want to get Koyin, all she has to do is tell him she likes him, he doesnt mind, afterall he's allowed her to define their relationship so far - brother, bestie, bestfriend etc. What's another one to him. He's even the type to do whatever she agrees to secretly and can be discreet about it.

But since she's doing the "i'll match your non-chalant thing", he's ready to play the game to the end. Afterall, he's very competitive and wont back down from a fight plus he's not that attracted to her and can afford to let her go

There's a way the show works. Whatever Dede has as a plan should end by Week 8, and she should REST!
